I can understand how offensive this is to the VAST MAJORITY of men who are not trying to influence their wife's vote, or are themselves being pressured by women to vote a certain way. Here is just one experience I had recently: I was canvassing in a liberal neighborhood and talking with a young woman, perhaps late 20's. I asked her if she planned to vote Democratic. She turned to the man behind her and he said, "No!" She turned back to me with a look that seemed to say, "I guess that's my answer…
