Experienced this entitlement in action a few months ago. My best friend at work is 30, has a decent amount of money, in shape, and looks above average, but is really shy was turned down by another co worker. She is obese, has virtually no hobbies, and has a really low skilled position in our office. Agreed ten thousand percent. They feed off of drama. It’s fascinating in an office environment. They literally monitor who is talking to who constantly and shit talk each other behind their backs 24/7. I was good friends with a few of them and it’s absurd how much of their daily lives is consumed by trying to stir the pot. I even work with a 60 year old lady who tries to start shit daily and is constantly whispering crap to others. It’s laughable cause I can’t even imagine a guy her age even doi…

That thread is hilarious haha. You could have made your post about any of the comments in there OP. The second comment describes a great date too and then the girl said it was too much for her later on. Further down a girl describes a perfect evening and ends it with “I couldn’t believe he wasn’t gay.” You also see a few “I wasn’t too into him so it didn’t work out” as well after listing their best first dates 😂😂

I did. It was very erratic and all over the place making it extremely hard to follow but one of his points was that you can only get sex and motherhood from a girl and not partnership. I just wanted to tell him that it’s demonstrably false and you can be best friends with your significant other. Didn’t want his experience with a few girls to taint his mindset

Judging from my experience currently, my girlfriend is easily my best friend. We do fun things all the time and are growing together financially. Granted, I still have my own hobbies and put myself first but that doesn’t change the fact that she’s my partner. Why such a negative attitude about girls?
