"If a 23 yo dated a 16 yo in most Western countries, it would be legal, except in a lot of the USA. So you would consider most Western countries creepy, in a sense, or "they allow creepiness to unfold", right?" I don't know what percentage of couples with that age difference at those ages would be at risk of an unfair power balance. I have little to no opinion on that, but 23 is significantly more mature than 16 in most cases I'd say. "I should have explained myself better. In your view, I am gu…

"So western countries aside from the USA are just creepy and weird" I don't see what you mean. "I know people who are still childish at 30. But then again, I know some people in their early 20s that would make you and I seem childish and stupid." Jep and if a very mature 18-year-old dates a very childish or mentally stunted 30-year-old then perhaps it's fair. I'm talking about the cases where this is not the case. So probably the majority of cases. "Well, if women who are in that age-bracket (18…

I'm not sure about the US's screening when it comes to genderdysphoria so i don't know. They aren't removed because she was told that it would make her a man, but because with GD having sex characteristics of the opposite gender is distressing.

Well I don't agree fully with the age of consent. I think 18-year-olds are too young for some things still, like doing porn. Trans surgeries are only done when a diagnosis has been made. Transitioning in that regard is treatment just like any other treatment. Also, i don't think an 18-year-old being able to do tasks like driving cars makes it less creepy for an 35-year-old to date them. I think this is a false equivalent. A 16-year-old can drive in the US, yet dating a 16-year-old is rightfully …

If someone is slow for their age they are actually more likely to only want to associate with much younger people.

You were 18 not too long ago. Wait until you're 30 and then hangout with an 18 year old and report back to me.

You're talking about general connection while I'm talking about connection that you would require to form a sexual relationship. 18-years-old have so many childlike mental features.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 08:57 PM

An 18-year-old is so childish still. I don't see how you could connect mentally with that age gap. I couldn't do it, fk no.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 04:11 PM

No, women like competence.

I don't see how you can deduce whether this is because they are virgin, or because being apparently undateable is why they are a virgin in the first place.

I'd say the up and downsides are about equal since men and women have equal suicide attempts. But men use more lethal methods.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/25 12:16 AM

First of all, women dont value sex the same way as men do. Second, i would call the fact that men want sex so much from women a disadvantage when taking sexual assault into consideration.

Male and female psychopaths and narcissists exist in equal numbers. It's just that at the extremes you see more males.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/25 06:27 PM

The two can have differences, it doesn't necessarily imply mutual exclusivity. Why i said that was because even though a woman might find a man crying a turnoff, it doesn't mean she doesnt empathize with a man crying in general. I don't know how prevalent this is anyway, i know my mom is like that but idk what percentage of women. I cannot imagine being like that.

Caring for someone as a sexual partner is different from caring for someone as a human being. You're conflating the two. Also, we have twice as many female as male ancestors. Maybe this is the default state for human reproduction when maximum freedom is pursuit

There's more male variability, so when there's an extreme degenerate he's probably male, but when there's an extreme hero, he's probably male too. So.

Yeah but you don't cut yourself while watching SAW, but when you watch porn you (usually) masturbate. I don't say people want to be raped, they just like the fantasy, which is a distinct difference since fantasy is the most controlled enviroment there is. So fantasy is still the opposite of rape

Jep it's lack of certain fundamental social skills. Normally socially awkward isn't creepy imo
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 09:08 PM

Unwarranted meanness is repulsive.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/25 12:15 AM

I don't see your quote conveyed in any way in that post. OP thinks to have made an observation, and he describes it. The discussion could be on whether it's accurate or not, or about a solution. You act as though this post is some sneaky incel trying to imply your quote. I don't think it is, and even it is was that doesn't automatically invalidate the presumed observation

No people have a basic sense of empathy and interconnectivity that doesn't exist online.

That's the thing. My brother is wildly succesful with women. For him redpill is a psychology course lol

Redpill is becoming more mainstream though. My brother talked about it with irl people. I was dumbfounded from that since i thought it existed online only. People irl aren't has hateful on the opposite gender as online though.

Well if you can't make statements about groups there won't be a sub lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 01:47 PM

I didn't imply any of that, i just said your solutions wont work because people are animals. Women are always going to take status into consideration. See how stupid that is? As to your second point, maybe read my comment better because that's what i said
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 01:46 PM

Because it's a fking therapist??
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 01:44 PM

Yes but i Strictly mean in relation to relationahips
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 01:43 PM
14

That's what baffles me. The vast majority of people are non-asshole nice kind of people. Most people have empathy and aren't narcissistic and fragile, or psychopathic. So why do so many people have so many bad experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 12:58 PM
2

People are animals, so no lol Women consider status because it correlates strongly with competence and confidence. Asshole behavior (such as narcissism) is a fake type of confidence, that's why it works.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 12:54 PM

Group studying is about studying groups. Women, menz cats, potatoes, they are all groups and you can make general statements about them. It's done a lot in psychology.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 12:50 PM

My male friend states that therapy doesn't really help men because society cares less about men. He's not an irrational incel type and i kinda believe him.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 11:44 AM

Dude this assertion is about groups. Groups are constantly discussed here but this is what gets your feathers ruffled up or do you post that comment on literally every thread there is.

1

But how would you find out until it's too late?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 11:41 AM
2

I don't mind either when people do that. I like to try and use psychology to help them. I have this friend who had an abusive relationship, and i explained to her what a narcissist is in depth to help her cope. I think many people find relief when they comprehend why things happen and how. Or is it just me.

I was unpleasantly surprised when my mom said she left a guy for crying. "If a man cries in front of me it's over". Wow mom, lol

But what causes the prevalence of ED then? Or is that also a hoax?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 06:14 PM
3

Seriously? I just assumed it was well-established. There was also a youtube video where one guy described he had ED untill he quit porn. Perhaps only people who escalate the stuff they watch experience ED. "Findings of this study reiterate the relevance of long-known risk factors for understanding diminished erectile functioning while concomitantly indicating that masturbation frequency and pornography use show weak or no association with erectile functioning," Well alright, i had that wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 06:06 PM

Competent and just.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 03:23 PM

No sane individual would resent someone for their identity group. This just doesn't happen irl, maybe it's normal on American online platforms? I don't see this rare behavior often, similar to actual racism.

More of an "indifferent" argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/24 03:18 PM

I agree with how you propose that the act of watching porn is an insignificant ordeal and shouldn't warrant much thought. However, idk how it is with people who watch it so much they get erectile dysfunction. In such a case it's becoming problematic, which could warrant thought.

Porn is just fantasy, like lord of the rings. It fails so hard to be applicable to real life because it isn't supposed to. I don't see in what way overconsumption would 'ruin' someone when it obvious unrealistic fantasy-based mini scenarios for the most part.

So many users here act as though men and women as a group are autonomous decision-making entities.

Well we have twice as many female ancestors as male ancestors. Perhaps we are approaching the default state of mate selection/succes.
