| 2 | How would you guys defend equal reproductive rights for men?You could talk about consequences to society, but this is more of an individual thing to me and pretty close to bedrock moral calculus to me. There is no reasoning, that's just how I weigh them. I was mainly pointing out why it's not hypocritical to point out the consequences of having sex for men, when you deny that argument for women in the right to choose. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 02/11/20 06:42 PM |
| 2 | How would you guys defend equal reproductive rights for men?By bodily autonomy I mean forcing someone to carry or abort a fetus. That trumps a lack of consideration of the foreseeable consequences of having consensual sexual intercourse. Both are bad, the former is worse. I don't consider a nonviable cluster of cells to be a person and don't consider that a valid argument, though I can understand why someone would take that stance. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 02/11/20 03:54 PM |
| -1 | How would you guys defend equal reproductive rights for men? Many pro-life arguments are valid, they're just trumped by bodily autonomy. When bodily autonomy doesn't apply, the other arguments do. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/11/20 05:13 AM |
