It is very rare for a foreskin to have problems and even rarer (about 1%) for a male to actually need a circumcision to improve that problem. In fact, some problems like phimosis in teens and adults was caused because a parent or a doctor forcefully retracted his foreskin when he was younger. It causes scars to form.
