Holy crap, this. There's actually a whole slew of problems naturally intelligent people run into, purely because we never had to prepare for them. Coupled with my looks and vicious intolerance of drama or bullshit, this explains a lot of my history. I'm kind of stunned here.

Whoa. This was surprisingly helpful. Succinctly stated, pleasantly insightful, and unexpectedly relevant. It explains a few things about this bizarre charisma I've been experiencing lately, and literally everything else you wrote has proven true in the past as well. …huh. Much obliged.

Essentially, what you're saying is that you're wholly dependent on another person to be happy. So until you kick that, no, you are not going to become an RP ideal. Quit being dramatic. If you're struggling to adjust after recently unplugging, which it sounds like, it gets better. There are ways to get the most out of relationships, to 'game' within relationships and accomplish something healthy and productive. If all options are unappealing, then you need to choose something that isn't on the li…

You're suffocating your own points, and I think you did it on purpose. If you're trolling, I applaud your effort if not execution, but if you're trying to be articulate…well, you're trying too hard. My advice, if you actually want to present an opinion, is to concentrate your point. Try to say as much as possible, as clearly as possible, as simply as possible. Besides which, the premise is flawed. A bitch is a bitch, but women hate women. It's natural. How much a potential LTR hates women is a g…

Sound advice. I'm getting stronger but not much bigger so far--if that doesn't change I'll look into different routines or supplements. Keep my standards? Interesting. Most people tell me my standards are too high, but you make an excellent point; it's just added incentive to meet and exceed those standards myself. Regarding complacency, there was a list on RoK about how not to be a wuss. The first thing on the list: how often one chose to make things easy on themselves. This has been a helpful …

Pain is weakness leaving the body. Every time something's upset the monotony in my world in a serious way--that is, influenced everyone in the vicinity of the event--the people who remained functional were those who'd undergone some kind of trauma in the past. We develop tolerances for adversity when we have no choice but to confront what threatens us. Surrender is easy. Submitting to the will and authority of others frees us from pressures like personal responsibility, the possibility of failur…

Sounds like you've already seen more than a few. Not sure I agree with you on Makishima, but I can see why you'd consider him alpha considering the depth of his apathy and the way he relentlessly worked to make his dreams reality. Seeing Red Pill themes in anime isn't all that uncommon. More often than not you'll find at least a few characters who are alpha, if only so that the commonly beta protagonist has someone to look up to…but there's usually some kind of lesson or theme that the anime is …
