The reason why that argument irritates me to no end is because I personally feel that: Both MRA and Feminism's issues are ultimately part of the exact same problem, but the effects manifest themselves differently per gender. It is for this reason that these issues not only CAN but absolutely SHOULD be addressed simultaneously. It's a blatant act of misandry under the pretence of feminism. Men's issues are just as valid and deserving of the issues women face, and if you don't think that is true t…

Thanks for asking, and I would like to throw in my two cents here, but before I answer your question I would like to ask you to answer a counter question first: Why do you assume that changing the bonding nature between men would be a change for the better? Asking not to be adversarial, asking to understand.

I still don't believe that to be the case.

Im gunna read up on that model, so I am gunna get back to you on that. In regards to that last line: believe it or not but I absolutely agree with you on that. My issue with that is that I happen to know some good people who are feminists that are not like that, one of them beeing my mom (i am 32, my mom is 56) I understand why you feel the way you feel though. Also, don't think I need to say this but adding it just in case: To you I am a rando on the internet, I am under no illusion that you wo…

I am unfamilliar with that one. I will take a look at that tomorrow or the day after. If you are right, I will get back to you to tell you you where right. If I still disagree i'll let you know as well.

Ok before I continue this conversation, are you aware your behaviour towards me is exactly the same as what happens when a guy dares to post the mildest of criticism on any feminist forum?

Inclined to agree with you on this, but would point out that doing otherwise is next to impossible without venturing into anecdotal territory

Humour me and name those examples. On which MR points does Feminism oppose the MR movement.

The thing yoy are thinking of is misandry, there are enough misandrists pretending to be feminists so I understand the association but those 2 are two very different things.

The arguments you make aren't wrong per se, and you are entitled to your opinion. But I am getting a strong vibe from you that you are arguing from a place of MensRights vs Feminism, which is really counterproductive and generates unnecessary opposition to the MR movement. Would like to address these: Regarding the wage gap: Statistics about this point is tricky because both sides of the argument present statistics without elaborating overly much on this topic unless it concerns a criteria that …

I'll throw my thoughts into the proverbial hat. The problem is that in the collective/general sphere of the public discourse certain jack assess with no sense of personal responsibility have skewed the discourse to the point where MensRights and things like Feminism are seen as being diametrically opposed and mutually exclusive. Something which I don't buy. If I am honest, I feel we should stop using the term privilege altogether, because privilege implies that one side has it all and at the exp…
