I would pay good money to see Laci Green debate someone on some of this just to see what crap she'd say.

I wouldn't say they were so much 'stunned' as they were completely unwilling to take evidence as fact; they seemed very begrudged to even consider the notion that it might be true.

Was at a bar once arguing with a woman about identity politics and a statistic came up, cant remember exactly what it was, but she was empirically wrong; I'd just read the study that day so I called her out. She didn't back down, even when I showed her the evidence, she never admitted she was wrong, and followed up that I was "mansplaining" the issue to her. I asked her how that was the case, considering she was WRONG, and we both knew it. I told her she should stop trying to 'femsplain' stuff t…

"Brittany Spears, Ariana Grande, and Miley Cyrus..." Hmmmm.... Also, no one is mentioning that she swore under oath at a deposition... in front of a camera... YEARS AGO... that none of what she's saying happened... actually happened... She shot herself in the foot, and there's plenty of evidence of her wanting to collaborate with various…

There is no better advice than this, friend. I also dated a hardcore SJW feminist, who I thought would appreciate well thought out discussion in said subjects, because hey, we're dating, so she cares about me and will respect my opinion. This doesn't happen. Walk away. It will just get worse, I promise you that. If unwanted male gaze is an issue she brings up, I can tell you that her ideology is more than a little unhinged.

Easily fixed. Harvard men: start applying to join Harvard's Female only institutions. When they bar you from doing so, raise hell. Gotta be both ways to work, and the more you show it's not, the harder it will be for them to make it so.

Like how in other countries where the police collude with criminals on the streets for bribe money? If you think this is police brutality, you're a fucking idiot, and I'm done trying to get you to understand why what happened was this woman's own damn fault. Good luck arguing with the cops during your next traffic stop. I'm sure non compliance and lots of arguing will get you what you want.

Yea... Sorry to tell you friend, but then violent police acts in America don't start like that one. That shit was on her. She was asked, politely, several times to comply with the officer who even stated several times it was for HIS OWN SAFETY as well as hers. You know what causes accidents in situations like this? People like this woman, who don't comply with the officer for any other reason other than her not wanting to. She already was stopped for a traffic violation, he's got her. It's a rat…

By the numbers, cops kill more who're people in America, but by population density they kill more black people. It's your assumptions that are bothering people btw. Also, that video escalates because the woman won't just listen to the officer. She had no reason not to do so, other than the fact that she didn't feel like complying, which escalated things.

Exactly. They hate each other because, obviously in our white controlled patriarchal society, social norms have indoctrinated you into hating your own race or gender, and therefore it's the fault of: white cis gendered men. Not because some people are just bad people. Nah. It's always someone else's fault, unless you're a man. Then it's totally your fault. What a crazy way to view the world...

This was on my Facebook as well this morning. The woman who posted it wasn't too happy about my idea that... Maybe... Just maybe... People aren't shitty people because of some strange unseen societal pressure, but merely because they are shitty, weak willed people who can only feel better about themselves by putting other people down. Nope. Patriarchy.

It's a good point that's made, but if facts and logic were the things driving this discussion forward, it would already be over. Unfortunately for regressive feminist politics, facts come in second place next to feelings.

Not to mention the fact that there's no way to prove that it's only men participating. "Look at all the hateful men who harassed me," she said while talking about the Internet, one of the most anonymous places ever invented, a place where you often aren't sure if you're talking to a man or a woman unless you decide to ask them.

I'd tell you why you're wrong here, but it seems many other people beat me to the punch. Those parents sound like bad parents though, and those teachers ( a female dominated profession... interesting...) are bad teachers. Although I'm not sure where you got any of that from. I love how confused these kids are when she explains herself, as if it's her fault for their not being able to understand what she's saying. If a man and woman drink the same amount, how is the man more culpable than the woman? How is this a hard thing to figure out. I have no faith in humanity anymore. An individual might have the capacity to be an intelligent individual, but people are stupid and easily herded.

This won't ever change until other groups on these campuses realize they need to stand up and protest in the opposite direction. I wonder how things would change if every time a feminist group tried to get someone removed from a discussion, another group stood up and fought for them to stay.

I think the reason this was brought up has a lot to do with the language of the article, and less to do with how MRAs feel about the issue itself. It's more because when this woman supposedly raped someone, the article calls it 'non consensual sex', rather than what it would be called if it was a man who wasn't associated with such a group. That's just my take though. And regardless of how we feel, this woman removed herself... So whether we applaud or not is rather inconsequential in this case,…

Didn't you know? As a woman of color she can't be guilty of rape, because rape is a tool of the patriarchy, and as such she can be guilty of non consensual sex, but not rape, because she has no power. Duh. Gotta /s the fuck out of that one.

You get a chance to speak one on one with a presidential hopeful... and you ask him about hair to bait him into a conversation based in identity politics. Yea. But don't you understand that they feeeel more afraid? As we all know, when rude men harass women on the street with their toxic compliments, it's just as bad as being assaulted or raped. So this bank is essentially saying that they're a sexist organization then. The only reason to give their female employees a boost in pay would be if they had actually been sexist towards them in the first place. So... They're either admitting they were sexist in the past and it's time to ratify that... Or they are just being sexist now by giving women more money with no real reasoning to back it up.

I think the problem with the idea that feminists are being drowned out as the reason this still happens, is that if these were the minority it would be the other way around. Feminists would drown these radicals out. But that's not the case.

I would ask her, in the scenario, who got raped exactly? A discussion about rape, a joke about rape, all of these can be done in poor taste, but in the end of the day they only do as much damage as someone is willing to allow. The same scenario reversed, if two women were joking about rape, and a man came up and slugged her, he'd go to jail, or get hit back, and no one would stand up for him.

They can 'feel' however they so please. A feeling has little to do with reality. When we're children we 'feel' like there's a monster I our closet so we get scared at night, but just because we're afraid doesn't mean we have any reason to be. Same thing goes when it comes to being offended. I offended you by what I said? So what? Chances are if I'm having an argument with a radical feminist, most everything they say will offend me in one way or another. Just because you're offended doesn't mean …

Nah, you just need to put the right spin on it, you know... Remember, based on the feminist issue, women can be both incredibly empowered, or totally helpless, depending on which narrative you want to go with. So, in this scenario, the police burst into her home without a warrant and harassed this poor woman with little provocation or evidence. She was completely 'triggered' by the scenario and is now having issue trusting police. Tada.

Nah, leave them be. You don't show that you are better than the rest of the foolish rabble by stepping down onto their level. Studies show infighting usually destroys teams based entirely in one sex (ok so the study shows this in the case of all women teams, but I don't want to sound like a sexist). So let them ruin the paper, or maybe it'll be fine, who cares? I'm still trying to figure out how this is news...

I've said it once and I'll say it again, you can't argue with someone when you are bringing facts to the table and they are bringing their feelings.

It's not that they don't think it happens, its that they believe that it happens more to them, based on, you know, how they feel about it. You can't come to an argument about feelings with facts, because it was never about the truth in the first place.

Just repeat after me, "Just because you are offended by what I say, does not mean that you are right in what you believe."

The idea of privilege is offensive as all hell. To suggest that someone should look to certain rights they get simply because they are a certain gender or race is by an large an incredibly discriminatory way of looking at the world. On the one hand they are desperately telling the world to look at them as individuals, while at the same time they are stereotyping anyone and everyone into little pockets of society. It's so infuriatingly stupid. You're trying to fight for equality and individuality…

OP, you gotta go make a few of these and just insert them into the middle of their poster. See how long it takes them to realize what they've done. Or hell, post actual figures to contradict them. I'd probably go to the school and make up some bs about how this is triggering me based on it's inaccurate information, and that because of this it seems to be inciting violence against white men on campus.

*If you can say something racist and then have people believe that it wasn't, you have minority privilege. Is that how this works? someone tell me how this is supposed to work...

Could OP please write this out and go back and staple it up there?

You're right, her looking and finding things in her sisters vagina is WAY better than if she'd put them there herself. Glad you have your line in the sand.

I'm sure you did... Did she openly discuss it with the other guy? I'm guessing you got the discussion, and he got cheated on.

I agree, but I was really posing it in the sense of a rhetorical question to ask her to make her think about her actions. Solid points though.

Oof. When someone says it like that... yea, that would be it OP. The second a girl tells me she's willing to cheat on who she's with to be with me I go, "Ok, and what happens to me when we start dating and you find the next guy? Do I get cheated on too?"

I think the sad thing is that the rest of us put these 9's and 10's on the pedestal. They wouldn't have such arrogance and bravado if they were held to a moral standard? But in the end, here's why I don't feel jealous of these people. So they are gorgeous, they can get anyone they want, and based solely on their looks they can keep someone in a relationship with them. Great. Do it, thats just awesome, because it keeps me from making the mistake of spending time with you. Let the morons of the wo…

Right? It's funny how much she talks about her husbands genetics but makes no mention of her own. God forbid the two of them went to a geneticist and talked about the risks before she decides to just go fuck some well off handsome bastard. She's a shitty person, and she is trying to rationalize her shittyness in whatever way she can. Fuck her.

If the landlord is on his side I think he's doing OK. I'm pretty sure she can issue an eviction, and as far as i know, past that fact, I don't remember them saying anything about anyone physically taking her keys to the place. Also, anything that she recieved as a gift better be well documented by her, lest she have a difficult time proving such a thing in court. I'm not trying to say you don't make a solid point, he does have to be careful, but from the evidence I see from this post, it sounds …

It's not an illegal eviction when she isn't on the lease. It's not him taking her property when she didn't buy it and has no evidence to support that she ever did in fact purchase anything. the landlady is family and as OP stated, is on O's side.

If they don't listen, get a lawyer involved. Sounds childish, but honestly that's what I'd do if administration wasn't listening to me. If you did that to them (them being the transgender person) you would have faced a wall of shit the likes of which many hope never to see. See that they face the same for being hypocrites.

I wouldn't put up with that. If I was arguing with my SO and she continually brought up the "well I'm going to leave you" card, I would beat her to the punch, I'd leave her ass, no reason to put up with that emotional blackmail. Honestly, she sounds spoiled. If you are constantly trying to keep her happy and she is constantly complaining to you about it, something definitely needs to change in her behavior, or its time to walk away from that. I know it's a tough prospect, given that you have a k…

The photos were sent from their personal devices to the cloud. It's not the same as them taking these photos and just letting them sit on their devices, they were in fact sent somewhere where they could be accessed by outside sources, be it by people allowed access by said parties, or by the parties themselves. The way I see it, is they are just as irresponsible for using a system that obviously doesn't have proper security in place.
