She was using her phone in the the last half-hour, but only for like 20 seconds to text someone. During the date she frequently would just stare off into space, crossed legs away from me, closed body language, and fiddle with her rings/jewelry while saying nothing. 2	Long Distances I used to live in LA (and I did well as a minority, how I found your posts). It's imperative that you live in a cool part of town and that you know it well -- cool meaning, Downtown, Los Feliz, Venice, etc. That way she'll want to come down to your area and you can be a tour guide. I lived downtown and didn't have issues with girls driving over from Pasadena, Hollywood, Long Beach etc. because I knew where all the underground clubs, art events, warehouse parties, etc were at.
