Learn how to give vague, altruistic responses to shit you don't agree with and change the subject. It wasn't until I made a muscles/mind connection with my lats that I started to see some real development in that area. Before this I would lift and wouldn't really see any improvements. What helped me achieve this was to do high intensity, low weight movement that targeted the lats. My brain eventually made the connection with this muscles group that I wouldn't use so much before. I moved on to heavier lifting and noticed an increase of gains from these lifts compared to before.
