In the USA, sugar (or variations of it like high-fructose corn syrup) is in nearly everything. It IS very addictive. I have been on keto for a year, and when I vacationed recently I let myself have some treats with sugar in them and I am still fighting the desire for junk food. It is amazing how addictive it is, and very bad for your long-term health! I must disagree respectfully about Keto taking more will-power. Once you break the addiction to carbs/sugar, it is easy to just walk by high sugar…

I am confused, if they can ban various subs, why do they plan it for a future date instead of just doing it? Why warn us?

I think you mean Republican, not Right. The Right wants small government. Many of the current Republicans (and all of the current Democrats) want giant government and limited freedom. Those Repubicans are called RHIOS (Republicans in Name Only), but it is really the Establishment/Bureaucracy vs the People. Thank goodness that President Trump won. He is the advocate for small government and freedom. Bush was just a RIHO. We the People hold the power in the US, and by electing Trump in a landslide…

I did not reference a party, i said Liberal. Currenly, Libertal = Fascist to me. They are not an opposing version of our beliefs; they are advocating replacing our system with Socialism. I will never vote for a modern "Liberal." BOTH parties have shifted left. I am not a republican. I support anyone who will reduce the size of government and promote actual freedoms.

Sorry for the late reply. Read The Grain Brain by Dr Pearlmutter, or watch The Magic Pill on Netflix. Being off of carbs is the natural way to live, and many health issues are caused by eating all the carbs in the Standard American Diet (SAD).

I did this in October and by January I went from 220 to 180 and I'm staying around 175 now. I also found out that eating lots of carbs gives you a sort of brain fog; I am so clear headed now. If you have access to Netflix, watch The Magic Pill. Carbs and sugar are pure poison!

The interesting thing is that before birth control and before "... the romance, love, care and such notions" that came about in the past century or so, women were a liability that the family had to pay to get rid of. Sons were valuable but a daughter would have to be married off with a dowry as payment in an arranged marriage. Typically, only older men could or would do this (30s plus), and could expect a life-long partner to help him with the many household labors. There was no romance, typical…

Read the Grain Brain. Check out /r/keto Some people have been helped with these types of medical conditions with dietary changes. (run it buy your doctor though). You might consider finding a RPG group for social activities. DnD is tons of fun... or Pathfinder.
