After seeing someone attribute this quote to Voltaire, I used a regular expression search with Tout Voltaire to keywords (in French) from this quote being in close proximity. Zero hits. Then I spent the better part of three hours manually searching through Voltaire's works (public domain) looking for the keywords (in French). Nothing matches. This article from 2009 is a few years out of date but it's a good short summary of established facts. This is the full page ad Donald Trump paid for in the NY Daily News the day after the news blew up big. The headline in 64pt capital letters? "BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY/BRING BACK THE POLICE" He was openly advocating the death penalty for these men who were eventually exonerated by physical evidence.

Thank you. Like the design choices you made, and the main graphical element really hits home (no pun intended). If I could upvote you more than once, I would readily do that. Same kind of insane mob mentality at work. Substitute "down with bourgeois capitalist laptop" with "privileged white male/smash the patriarchy". Substitute the utopian (i.e. impossible) "Maoist worker's paradise/dictatorship of the proletariat" with "absolute equality of outcome for women, LGBT, minorities etc. through preferential policies" Even Mao had trouble trying to control them towards the end.
