They aren't sharia courts because they only deal with small civil suits and only have power over people who consent to using the Muslim court. It's hardly like anyone is getting their tongue cut out for talking to Abdul 's wife without his permission. If both parties agree to go that way for a civil suit there is nothing wrong with that and they have every right to settle it in a manner they both agree is appropriate . Jewish people have been using religious courts for civil arbitration for year…

Lol don't know where you are getting that from. There is no sharia law in the UK... Birmingham is not a no go zone all that shit was made up bollocks. Areas that are densely populated with Muslims and other ethnic groups, but there is no sharia law.

I've not heard of this guy before but Googled him. Why do pick up artists always dress like such chumps? I'm talking about the pinstriped black shirts, the white ties, the prefaded boot cut jeans, the cheap leather jackets, the Square toed loafers, obnoxious belt buckles, coloured/bleached hair and terrible facial hair. They dress like high school neckbeards not like actual men.

Foreword: a lot of what I have written is assuming you are a fresher. It's pretty relevant if you aren't, but the dynamic between you and your team mates might be different if you are joining the club as a 2nd or 3rd year. Anyway, I'm also a member of a large men's sports team in the UK and have been on both sides of the situation you are describing. I've been a part of the club for 4 years. We have an associated girls team and a big presence on the campus social scene. This is just how it is wi…

Currently hit a plateau of 900lbs. I think I need to sort my macros out. Currently my diet looks a little like this: Breakfast: 6 slices of bacon, stack of pancakes all covered in maple syrup washed down with chocolate milk. Lunch: 2 KFC family buckets with XL sodas Dinner: XXL Papa John's and a bag of twinkies. I stay hydrated in the evenings with a few 6 packs. I make sure to stay anabolic between meals with regular bags of Doritos and cheetos. I think I need to start supplementing with a mass…

If you know I have a heavy night ahead if me, I buy some packets of rehydration salts. Over here they are called dialorite, not sure what the US equivalent would be. It's a mixture of essential salts and sugars, meant to be consumed after suffering from vomiting or diarrhoea, but it's my secret miracle hangover cure. I find it works much better than drinking water on its own.

Sadly not. If everyone considered it satire I'd probably be laughing along with them, but the majority of their demographic are heavily invested in reading it as gospel. There's just the right amount of lies, half truths and scapegoating to convince uneducated people lacking in critical thinking skills of anything the daily mail execs wish. It generates hatred over inconsequential matters and redirects attention from genuine problems. The readers will cheer when the government starts selling off…

You from the US? The daily mail is hive of scum and villainy that I honestly blame for a lot of social issues in Britain. I would love to see their HQ burned to the ground, preferably with all their journalists and execs still inside. They have an uncanny ability to prey on and exploit the fears of the uneducated part of the British population. The rest of the UK tabloids are almost as bad. The Sun in particular.

As far as MSM goes the telegraph is ok. Like most UK papers it has an obvious political bias, but in general it is a reliable source. They are not the daily mail, they don't just pull facts and stories out their ass, and their journalists have some integrity.

Suiting up is all well and good but you have to do it right. Suits are associated with power, wealth and masculinity, so it should look effortless, like you wear it everyday. If you turn up to a bar in the badly fitting boxy suit you wore to prom 3 years ago with a cheap badly knotted tie and converse you are just going to look like an idiot who thinks throwing on any old suit makes him barney stintson. Don't bring attention to the fact you've suited up, and make sure your body language conveys …

I understand there are plenty of issues with the EU, but I feel like going UKIP and leaving the EU is a terrible idea. Yup I'd advocate giving keto a try as well. It doesn't necessarily work for everyone, and if you are not careful it's quite easy to start losing muscle mass but for me there is no diet as good for cutting fat fast. If I eat meals with carbs, I can eat absurd portions and still feel hungry. If I eat only meat, vegetables/salad and healthy fats I'm never hungry, never feel the urge to over eat and I still stay under maintenance calories for my cut. The body fat just melts away.

I play for a pretty big sports team on my campus, and we actually decided to set up a private strength and conditioning group on facebook. If you know enough knowledgeable people into lifting/fitness its a great idea. Gives you a nice, closed space to discuss the intricacies, joke around and organise workouts. My timetable changes often so it's a great way to make sure I always have a spotter, and I've been invited to types of workouts I would normally never think to do.

Any idea if a physics degree is a useful asset for oil careers? Toned...that word eurgh. There is no such thing as toned, only muscle mass and bodyfat percentage. It is a fitness industry buzzword used to sell magazines. https://warosu.org/data/fa/img/0066/36/1375760792123.png I'm just guessing here, but I'd say below 8-10% is where women start to go "eww thats gross". Yeah, its fantastic to see the sport picking up some steam in the US. Weirdly enough I've done the opposite; played rugby for my high school and local club (still do when I'm home) , and then tried out for my uni team but it was awful. Full of boozed up 'lads' who I couldn't stand being around. Every negative stereotype about uni rugby triple distilled into one shitty club. They weren't even a good team, rugby took a backseat to chugging bears and being a prick. Most games we lost it was because…

Short man shaming really pisses me off. I'm 6 3 myself so I have no problems with height but I feel so bad for short dudes. Particularly short guys who hit the gym. It's a never ending stream of comments behind their back about how insecure they must be, or how obvious it is they are trying to compensate for being short. I'm like "fuck you, those guys already got dealt a bad hand in the attraction stakes, and now you are judging them for wanting to sculpt the best physique they possibly can?"

If you aren't 100% set on a combat sport and there is a team near you have a look into rugby. If you are in the US it is an interesting talking point, and it's also a great way to expand your male social circle. The camaraderie between a team's rugby team is amazing.

Meh. I use tinder for the same reason that girls do. I'm well aware that most hot girls will match with any guy she finds attractive, and I will only swipe right for hot girls. So whenever I match I know that I'm one of a small number of guys out of a vast pool who have swiped right that this particular girl finds attractive. I have no intentions of meeting anyone from tinder because the game is so stacked against guys but it's a nice ego boost.

Wear a suit for networking events by all means... But who the fuck are you gonna network with in lectures who actually gives a shit that you are wearing a suit? Guarantee that if the guy is smart charismatic and hardworking no one in his class who could turn in to a useful contact in the future is impressed by his daily suit wearing. Looking good and looking smart is all about context. If you want to look smart in lectures, wear some well fitting dark jeans, desert boots/Oxford and a button down…

/r/TheRedPill06/03/14 06:21 PM

I'm not convinced it will break down... Norway for example manages its' oil reserves incredibly well. All money earned from allowing companies to drill on Norwegian land/sea goes into a sovereign investment fund. The fund is currently worth close to 1 trillion USD and is the largest stock owner in Europe, controlling about 2% of all European stocks. That's not going run out any time soon.

See I disagree, even if you are dressed like Don Draper or a ganster, you still aren't pulling it off. I really don't think it's possible to pull off fedoras. At least for younger men. An old gent wearing one it looks good because it's evocative of a bygone era, you can actually imagine him visiting speakeasies and Jazz clubs back in the day. But if you aren't getting old, wearing an immaculately tailored 3 piece suit is enough to make you look better than 99% of the competition, assuming it's t…

I'm not suggesting everyone does keto. It works for me, but it doesn't for others. But you will never find out if a particular diet works if you never try and instead continue to live off Papa Johns and Big macs. Exercising willpower is only hard if you surround yourself with bad food. If you only buy healthy food, you don't have to do shit. Fuck, if its that hard for you, order your groceries online so you don't even have to look at tempting unhealthy food. I assuming here that you know how to …

It would have undoubtedly been the best year of my youth yet. You might say I'm glamorising it, but I use it as a lesson and regularly remind myself what I'm missing out on, and that motivates me to work harder so I never have to feel that regret again.

I was suppose to be spending this year at Oklahoma state University of Oklohoma as part of my universities study abroad programme, but I fucked up my exams last year and didn't make the grade. Honestly, it's not nearly as hard as some people make out. Don't Buy Fucking Junk Food. As a kid I was always overweight, and there was always a full cupboard at home. I'd chow down on an entire tub of pringles whilst waiting for my pizza to cook. My mother would chastise me for binge eating, and tell me "eating those things is ok, but only in moderation". True for some, not me, once I popped I couldn't stop. Once I went to college and had to shop and cook on my own budget, I was forced to make …

All about how you phrase it. I've never tried to explain it directly to friends behaving BP but there have been a few occasions I've been discussing a third party being friend zoned or cheated on. I deliberately avoid using TRP slang, but everyone agrees when I talk about things like boundaries, leading and self respect. the way he talks is excellent as well. A lot of youtubers tend to run their mouths 1000 words a minute, whereas he seems to deliberately slow his pace and speak more concisely. Car insurance companies in the UK used to charge female first time drivers significantly lower premiums than male first time drivers, to due the proven statistically lower risks in insuring women. Like, up to 30% less. Enough men moaned that the EU introduced legislation to prevent car insurers discriminating on gender, hoping to lower premiums for men. Guess what the insurance companies did? Hint: They raised women's premiums to the same price as mens, fucking over everyone, not just men.

Well said. Why on earth would business owners reorganise our industrial systems to accommodate women's smaller strength? What you described would require rebuilding or reorganising manufacturing lines to the tunes of billions and billions of dollars. Further more, if by some miracle that did happen, I'm not convinced any women would go for it. Hell, most men nowadays prefer the alternative of an office job. Best way to build muscle before going to the gym, is to go to the gym. Just bite the bullet and do it. If you have access to a free weights room, provided you are a slow, steady and maintain good form, you shouldn't see injuries. Unlike injuries in other sports like your example of running, where you can hurt yourself through bad luck, injuries in weightlifting are usually due to bad form or pushing yourself too hard and going for a weight you can't lift. I've never heard of a man getting 3 years for a murder of any kind, regardless of any claimed mitigating psychological factors. I don't see how depression can be used as an excuse for murder/manslaughter. Psychosis, mania, Bipolar and a whole host of other disorders I probably don't know about, yes, but I struggle to understand how depression could make you want to kill anyone but yourself. The way I look at it is this: I need protein to build and repair my body, so I eat meat. I need vitamins and minerals to keep stay healthy, so I eat vegetables, I need energy to fuel my body so I eat food with fat content. I really don't feel I have any need for heavy carbs like bread, rice and pasta. I tend to overeat really badly with those, portion sizing is so much easier if I just stick to a diet of mainly of meat and vegetables.

As a UK guy I'm struggling to understand why girls would go to that kind of environment? Everywhere I go weather its a bar, club or house party. girls have the upper hand 90% of the time. For most guys who have little to no game, its a case of the girl picking you, not the other way around. Why would they relinquish that? Not trying to be a dick, I'm just confused about the dynamics of frats and sororities.

Interesting theory, I think you've hit the nail on the head. The girl doesn't want mummy and daddy to find out she enjoys public sex with strangers, because if they did, they'd probably cut her off. What does she do? Cry rape to ensure her parents sympathy and continued funding.

It's completely irrelevant what discipline you subscribe to, whether its bodybuilding, power lifting, Olympic lifting or whatever. If you take it seriously you will look bigger and better than 80% of other guys upon first meeting a girl, and in this context thats what matters.

Elliot is one my favourite youtubers. Been watching his videos for a while, at first just to learn more about lifting, but now I watch them because he is such a great speaker and his life philosophy is spot one. Dude is such a great role model, I think every man should aspire to be more like him.

possibly its a british thing haha... I have friends who do it almost as a sport, a race to the bottom. A kind of inverse macho competition to see who is willing to set aside the most pride in the name of banter and good sport: "Who can pull the fattest, ugliest girl in the club?"

Atm I drive a tiny little peugeot 107 hatchback because I'm young and in the UK insurance companies buttfuck new drivers with huge premiums (I know people whose insurance premium is more than the worth of their car). I think at my age, just owning a car is a good start. I'd say 50% of my friends do not have a car. That said, when I am older and have a career going, I plan to have 2 cars: First, a comfy, basic daily driver just to get me from A to B, nothing flashy. Second, an old, sporty convert…

+1 on Bill Burr, that guy is fucking hilarious. His rant "there are no feminists in a house fire" is one of my favourites. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onNBxynagXE

Dude I've been thinking about this kind of career for a while, glad to hear TRP thinks highly of it. Any advice for a current physics undergrad? Are more specialised degrees needed or will any science degree do?

2 observations: 1st, isn't a strip club kind of a bad place to evaluate how girls react to you considering its their job? I've never been to one, and I'm not sure I really want to... I suppose it could be a good ego boost pre night out, but other than that I don't really get it. seems like a weird middle ground where you are paying a professional but not actually getting laid. perhaps someone could explain it to me 2nd: your buddys gf choosing the "plump" stripper. What a surprise, you two could…

Oh god I remember that "nah she's fucking with me, this is a prank, she's going to laugh at me with her friends" mentality...I missed out on so many opportunities when I was a kid because I couldn't see myself as an attractive person, and couldn't understand that other people could find me attractive. sigh...

If it's legitimate PTSD, the female body has ways to shut that whole thing down /s
/r/TheRedPill25/06/13 01:20 AM
13

Well put. I can't imagine how awful having legitimate PTSD must be and the kind of horrible things you must have seen to trigger it. Its an insult to veterans and others who have witnessed the worst in humanity that this pathetic excuse for a woman is allowed to get away with it.

See I could almost see myself doing it on girls I already know reasonably know, say something along the lines of "Oh hey, check this out, I read about this funny thing the other day". I could never present it as being a legitimate serious thing. Its far too scripted for me to be able to do that.

I'm young and know little of retirement, I'm not quite sure I understand this. Can someone confirm or correct how I'm reading this? So you have your company retirement plan, its builds up a cash pot taken from your salary for you to live off when you retire. But when you die, there will be some of that cash left over, and you therefore nominate someone else to take it. You nominate your wife. (this is all hypothetical) But later you get divorced. You find someone else and live happily ever after…

I don't know all the details of it, but a close friend of mine, lets call him steve, was almost expelled from university and convicted on some kind of BS sexual assault claim. He was in the student's union nightclub (Don't know if you have those in the US? basically a union run by students that provides a lot of facilities and services on campus. They often run stuff like coffee shops, a bar or a club, at discount prices exclusively for their students.) when he sees a girl slumped on a couch in …

Some of those I thought were good, some were just... cringy. All depends on how you say it I guess. E.g I enjoyed the role reversal ones like"I'm not piece of meat. I'm a feelings man, I have feelings!" but "Don't look at me like that. You'll get hypnotized and start thinking naughty thoughts"... That just makes my skin crawl thinking about saying that.

So what? You're awesome and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. If your friends are all complete heart throbs drowning in pussy, good for them, they've got it easy. You've got to work for it, don't be afraid of that. When you score the straight 10 you can actually say, "That happened because I made it happen, I made myself a better person who girls want to be with" and you can be proud of that. You didn't just win the lottery, you worked for it. It sounds like you have some severe social anxiet…

I can't remember where I read it, I'm sure it was on here. It didn't say it was a hard and fast rule, it was just someone speaking from experience. I'm pretty inexperienced, never nailed a girl after clubbing so YMMV but it made sense to me. It was quite a good post, I'll try and summarise the logic from what I remember. It was something along the lines of if you kiss them and start making out right there on the dance floor yes, you could take them home, but because you've been making out the gi…
