Yes, this definitely would've relieved competition pressure as well. The ancients probably realized that it was important for men to stay intact in order to become big, strong, and masculine. Lack of testosterone has profound changes on growth and development, and a society consisting of too many eunuch sissies would be overrun.

I'll admit, the word has also been used to refer to celibate/impotent men, thus diluting its historical meaning. I also don't doubt that it referred to positions of power. Like I said in the post, eunuchs were often given important and influential roles in society. This still begs the question of where the association (or, in your view, conflation) came from. After all, "powerful" and "physically impotent" don't seem to match. To me though, there are a few good reasons why rulers would want to k…

She could be following the female equivalent of the "three-date rule." Except in your case you got 5-6 lays, so props. Regarding girls getting bored, think of it this way: even if you have tons of fun taking a girl on dates, are you still gonna keep doing it indefinitely if it never leads to sex? We all have our own priorities.

Here's a passage I'd like to dissect, not only because I found it insightful, but it also popped a theory in my head: Well known to all are the mysteries of the Good Goddess, when the flute stirs the loins and the Maenads of Priapus sweep along, frenzied alike by the horn-blowing and the wine, whirling their locks and howling. Good Goddess = Bona Dea, the goddess of chastity and fertility Maenads = female followers of Dionysus, god of winemaking (lol of course). The Maenads were supposedly ravin…

Kinda seems like the whole country got Alpha-widowed and lost its mind when Kennedy was assassinated. All the bullshit we deal with today started after his death (Lyndon Johnson's Great Society/entitlement programs, hippies, feminism, etc). Not saying there's a conspiracy, though.

That's like the opposite reason of why most people get pets. I like how you think.

We all walk the path by our own will, but ask yourself: who built the path?

Very insightful. However, it makes me wonder whether male attractiveness is still as much of an advantage outside of causing orgasms (for example, in simply inspiring feelings of sexual desire or motivating the female to engage in sex). Or does Game/social dominance/status overtake it in this realm? In other words, does initiating the sexual encounter primarily rely on "Game" and/or status? If so, then does sexual satisfaction from the act itself primarily rely on attractiveness? I would think t…
