Yeah if you have all those things you’re obviously not gonna be working min wage.

we’re made for each other, to be in love and get married one day, to form a loving family. Love is a beautiful thing https://youtu.be/YaG5SAw1n0c

Yeah but as we’re seeing, when women stop needing men, they stop bothering with men altogether. If it weren’t for immigration we would have already demo’d our population with this shit.

What about that weirdo who shot up the YouTube office?

Am I supposed to just imagine being hounded by women for sex, or are you very specifically hung up on being “penetrated”? Like if you knew men were after you to lick your pussy not penetrate you, would this change everything?

They’re fat.

There aren’t, but women just share them.

Long time ago liberals didn’t have a big problem with generalizing the behaviour of women and there was no such thing as “toxic masculinity”. PUA didn’t change much it’s only seen as right wing now because everything else has gone farther left.

Hahaha, the last place I worked in was like half lesbians. Seemed to be a trend with them.

Indeed. I have to summon a lot of willpower and energy to kick ass in a social setting. It’s fun when we I do it, but like you said, I need to crash after and not do it again for a while.

Sounds like you’re what they call an “extroverted introvert”. I am too. My cousin is a straight extrovert, he’s a nuclear reactor and thrives in social settings and gets depressed when he’s alone too much.

Cool answer. I think you’ve touched on an important point that’s relevant to the OP’s overarching point: social confidence is something many men struggle with. I’m not saying you’re only confident because you’re a woman but, many men would definitely not have the confidence to go into a big crowd of strangers and “work the room”. Men who can do this, like my cousin, absolutely clean up. But many men can’t. Not you’re probably thinking “sure but many women can’t either” and I agree. BUT, often wo…

Sure, I agree. If I lived with a girl I wouldn’t just depend on her being able to cook. If she can’t cook for shit or if she’d rather we take turns, then I can do it.

It is possible for a beta to earn millions but you can’t be an alpha and earn min wage.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 06:42 PM

The best way is to be introduced by mutual friends. Every other way is a dice roll and if you do it wrong you’ll get me too’d.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 06:01 PM

That suggests that women don’t have to be AS hypergamous on average but, you still see plenty of women competing for wealthy/attractive men above their “weight class”. Maybe women working and earning their own money has reduced the tendency for the average woman to be hypergamous but, if a woman is attractive enough that she can still engage in it, she will.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 05:58 PM
2

It sounds like it probably depends on who in the relationship lived on their own first. Like I live on my own and I’m a bit more OCD in general than most people, even women. Like I had a female friend over here the other day and she was jealous af at how clean and organized my place is. I feel like if a man moves right out of their parents house and in with a woman, sure, they probably will end up expecting the girl to just keep doing what their mom used to do.

No he’s a dumbass for thinking winning all the time is “hell”. If that was me, I’d be fucking partying all day every day bitch! Not whining like a bitch that my life is easy.

I worked with people who landed here five months ago as refugees and make as much money as I do. Just don’t be a beta.

I also have a low “body count”, at least relative to my age. I tend to like religious women from the east (Europe, or Asia) because they seem closer to their families and aren’t as in as big a hurry to move out of their home or resent them and treat them like shit. Seems like every hardcore atheist zoomer chick I meet hates their parents, especially their dads.

Serious but mean sounding question: are you reasonably physically attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 06:24 AM

Wrong. I’m saying I don’t want to date some fundie whose entire life revolves around religion, but it’s nice if the girl retains a few good habits like, for example, not being a raging sl00t, or actually caring about their own family.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 06:24 AM

I’m just saying after leaving you could have traded in that beta male for a red blooded man who earns real money.

No, they’re not marrying someone “their own age” in the sense that they’re specifically going for someone their own age. They’re still going for the same men: older, more established men. They’re just waiting longer before doing it. In the past a woman had to marry when they’re younger because they didn’t have the same opportunities they do now. But they’re still ultimately interested in the same types of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 05:18 AM
4

Well yeah, that’s not exactly what I meant lol. Like sure my mom wiped my ass when I was young but I’ve never exactly had the expectation of women waiting on me hand and foot. In my experience the expectation is usually the other way around.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 04:39 AM
3

A lot of times having a prospect is exciting for a man, so we can sometimes get a little too invested too early. It’s hard to pretend to be aloof. The only times I’ve ever been genuinely aloof and didn’t have to pretend was when I was young and was routinely dating multiple women at once. Basically, if you currently have an abundance of anything you’ll naturally care less about any one of it. What’s a single dollar bill to a millionaire?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 04:35 AM
2

That’s because “technology” does not yet include hyper realistic sexbot waifus. When it does, things will look different.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 04:32 AM
1

Probably because women don’t have to marry so young anymore. They can spend their 20s travelling or working and THEN marry a high value 30+ year old man (who is now closer to her age). It’s not like modern women are marrying zoomer brokies working at Starbucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 04:22 AM

How do I become one?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 04:19 AM
1

Yeah. I think also in her case she believed it was because everyone liked her, she thought she was legit such a cool and fun person that people just wanted to be around her or help her out of good will. She was a fun chick, one of my best friends at the time, but nowhere near on the level she thought if not for her appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 01:39 AM

The girl I was thinking about in my example, I think she was a mix of both. I think she knew some guys simped for her but I think she wasn’t fully aware of the extent men in general simped for her, or why.

The single mom. Her last relationship maybe didn’t work but at least she’s clearly serious about starting a family, and is less likely to cheat with some Chad on the side. Gotta kill the kid tho unfortunately.

Gotta date a girl who was raised Catholic but doesn’t really give a shit about it anymore but still habitually retains some of the values.

It’s not even necessarily overt assistance. Like people tend to think the point I’m making is claiming that men are like pampering women and treating them like gold. It’s often more subtle. At my last job, for example, supervisors were easier on the hotter women when they messed up. They were also less likely to assign them physically hard or dangerous tasks. Something like that is pretty subtle and hard to notice, especially if you’re just going about your life like normal. Then you’re just exp…

Dating foreign cultures is based. More specifically try dating a woman who is religious to some degree. Not a full on bible thumping fanatic or anything just one that has some core values. Hedonistic atheists are brutal unless all you care about is getting laid.

It might not even believe a conscious sense of entitlement. They’ve just lived their whole lives experiencing men do things for them and have come to expect that that’s the standard.

That just goes to show you have absolutely skewed OF is because statistically only 1% of women have boobs bigger than D let alone DD or DDD. No wonder there’s an absolutely crisis in reasonable expectations (for both men and women tbqh).

You said you have triple D’s. Even if you were fat, that would put you in the top 1% of women in terms of breast size. And if you were not fat, it would be even tinier. So if it’s true, why are you not making like 10K a month on OF?? Or…are you? Link?

Ukrainian women moved to Poland, sponged off Polish social services, and probably went and fucked a bunch of Polish men, while Ukrainian men stayed back and got blasted with artillery. Yes it is, dummy. I’ve been out of my mom’s basement and lived in Japan where they shame fat people AND almost no one is even fat. It was great. Amerifats are off the charts in their insanely impulsive, shortsighted, gluttonous, hedonistic behaviour.

Yeah but reality doesn’t work like that. Men and women don’t all get in a big line and pair off with their perfect match. Everyone competes for the highest value men/women, and women do this even more egregiously than men do. There’s a giant subset of men who basically have no real chance of getting a girlfriend or a wife. About a quarter of men 40-50 years old have no kids, so these mofos couldn’t even knock up a bitch let alone lock one down. Insane numbers of men are out there who basically j…

But men are shamed for having preferences for a women’s physical features, even ones they can control, like their weight. At least men being butthurt about the height thing makes sense because a man can’t change his height. But women get butthurt about men not wanting fatties when all they have to do is stop eating so much fuckin food.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/23 04:42 AM

Social media combined with fatness, I think. 80% of both men and women are overweight, meaning only 20% of women are not fat. Of those 20%, probably only half or less are also attractive on top of not being fat. So you’ve got like what, 5-10% of women in the country who are actually physically attractive? Then they go online and every man in the universe wants to date them. Good luck. When I lived in Japan I found it was a lot easier to date because you could just date an average looking chick a…

Another factor is that men who do “creepy” things might not always make the same mistakes or come off as creepy to certain women. I remember when I was young and more actively involved in dating and trying to meet women, there were definitely times when I’d screw up and I bet those women told all their friends that I was some loser creep. But sometimes I said or did the right thing at the right time and that woman was receptive. People tend to talk too much like everything is cut and dry. I’m su…

Maybe true but I’d say my “list of expectations” is far less reliant on a woman’s social status, wealth, education, stuff like that, and is far more reliant on her personality, looks, and values.

It’s because OP isn’t taking into consideration the fact that men tended to dominate ancient societies because most old societies had some form of warrior caste that was primarily men. Also explorers were almost exclusively men. So, men would either be away from the home fighting, raiding, or exploring for long periods of time, leaving the woman in the homemaker role. Now in those days a “homemaker” may not have been a dainty little housewife like in the 50s, and lower class women definitely wou…

I also have several male friends and a couple platonic female friends, but nothing alleviates the sense of loneliness like a nice girlfriend. Idk if it’s just me or many men but, there’s a big difference for me/us between the companionship you have with your bros vs your gf. Male friendships are more like brotherhoods. But men also like the softer side of companionship that you typically only get from a woman. Like I’m sure as fuck not gonna snuggle up with my best bro and watch Netflix. I’ll dr…

It sounds to me that you (maybe all women?) don’t really value the companionship aspect of a relationship very much compared to how men value it with women. Sure it might be a plus factor but it sounds like you’re fine completely on your own with your pets and/or hookups. I wonder how/why that is. As far as I know, women are a social species just like men are, yet they seem to have no problems abstaining from any and all contact with men if they want. Is it just our culture? Is it because social…

Well what the fuck, when women stayed home they said they were doing tons of (unpaid) work, but when I want to stay home I’m called lazy? That’s ass. I would have even swept and done laundry, literally the hardest jobs in the world. All you’d have to do is bust your ass at a brutal job all day to pay for everything. You’re really telling me you’d pass that up??
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:56 AM

You don’t have to have kids, we can be DINKs. Apparently women are happier without kids anyway so we might as well just travel the world and leave the breeding for the poors in Africa.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:49 AM
1

I disagree. Why does a woman have to make the same money as me for us to have a healthy relationship? Or the same hobbies or same numbers of hobbies, etc? If we get along well and love each other isn’t that enough? What happened to romance? Does everything have to be a transaction?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:46 AM
3

Sure but my original point (aside from the tongue in cheek aspects) is that women’s expectations for pets are low because a pet’s love and affection is enough for them. But for men, they tend to have a huge list of practical expectations that men have to meet, whereas men typically just want a nice woman they get along with. Rarely do I ever meet a man with a laundry list of expectations for a woman’s personality, career, hobbies, etc. we tend to be happy enough to just meet a nice woman we like…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:44 AM
1

That’s basically the same standards as me, then. My original post was in response to someone else’s post where they had a giant list of expectations.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:42 AM
2

Agreed. A lot of times women love the fact that their dog “loves” them unconditionally but hate the fact that other humans judge them for their actual character.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:41 AM
2

They’re pretty easy to satisfy though. Basically we just have to get along and be heading in a similar life direction. That’s pretty simple to satisfy if you meet someone like minded. I certainly don’t care if she’s making tons of money or is the most interesting girl in the world with some cool or unique hobbies.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:40 AM

I can handle that shit though. I don’t need a woman for financial reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:39 AM

Actually one time I was drunk as fuck and pissed on my gf of the time’s floor and she cleaned it up 🤣. I guess I had nothing to complain about after all.

2

People have to put more effort into being cute, fun, and loyal.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:36 AM
2

All of those things would affect the “fun” condition. If we’re conflicted over life decisions, it wouldn’t be much fun would it?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:35 AM
1

In the eye of the beholder, I suppose.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:34 AM

That’s because you’re not cute. Sorry to break it to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:33 AM
1

You’re saying I can’t be an emotional support husband? What a rip.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:33 AM
2

And what standards are those?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:32 AM
1

That’s just because fewer and fewer people are willing to actually put any real effort into relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:31 AM
3

Nope, you don’t. Every failed relationship I’ve been in that wasn’t my fault (probably about half of them) failed because one of those three things were lacking. I never dumped a girl because of her hobbies or how much money she made. Not cute = no sexual attraction = dead bedroom. Not fun = can’t stand being around each other. Not loyal = speaks for itself. Anything else is incidental or irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:30 AM
2

Why though? Couldn’t you just get a stay at home husband? Men had stay at home wives for many generations.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:28 AM
1

Imagine thinking having a cute, fun, and loyal girl to spend your time with is “low standards”. Maybe I just don’t treat relationships like some business arrangement where she needs to provide me with some laundry list of bullshit?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:26 AM
1

They’re not. What exactly do you think relationships are supposed to be about? Your statement outlines exactly the difference between how men and women view romance: men want to love and be loved, women want to benefit in some practical way.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:25 AM
1

It’s not about being “jealous” it’s recognizing the low opinion modern western women have towards men. I’ve never had this issue dating foreigners or non-whites tbh.

That’s the ultimate point I’m trying to make.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:22 AM

If that’s true, it suggest that possibly the longest and most important biological imperative of all (procreation and family building) is less meaningful and fulfilling to women than working some lame job and doing frivolous materialistic crap. I’m actually legitimately depressed as fuck now, this culture is in utter ruins.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:20 AM
1

This post was semi tongue in cheek but I do agree. Our culture has bred a ton of resentment and animosity between people and there’s been a clear up trend of people (men and women but primarily women) who clearly use pets as a substitute for a would-be human relationship. It isn’t just women either. I worked with a dude who only gave a shit about his dog and said it was his “son”. Hadn’t dated a girl properly in years. Shits fucking weird, I need to date a Muslim (they don’t often like dogs lol)…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 06:14 AM

I don’t have different standards for a pet vs a woman. Like I said, I look for the exact same traits: cute, fun, loyal. Women are the ones who have a laundry list of expectations for men.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 05:52 AM

I was arguing with one of my best female friends about this sort of thing once and I accused her of not being logical or consistent in her choice of men, and she said, “when did I ever say anything about being logical”? Pretty funny and salient convo, tbh. She knew her rules changed like the wind and didn’t give a fuck. Respect at least for owning it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 05:44 AM

It’s hard to figure out who women lie to more: other people, or themselves.

Like fighting for your countries. Most of the people who fled Ukraine were women and children. Funny how stronk and independent women are when they’re doing some easy make work job in a fake economy, but suddenly when you get invaded by a hostile foreign country, being a “diversity manager” doesn’t mean jack anymore.

It’s because women were lied to and told that real value is in working some lame corporate job till you’re 35 and they realize they fucked up and want a family but no HVM wants to date them anymore. So they seethe and cope by accusing men of being pedos or whatever. Not our fault you burned your best years working some lame job no one gave a shit about except the HNIC you were making rich.

Not in H&G societies. They didn’t have the resources and tech necessary to be that picky so men and women shared a lot of roles and tribes were pretty close knit without much in the way of hierarchical breakdowns. It’s likely they still had some gender roles given men being bigger and stronger than women (so men probably did more hunting and fighting), but generally speaking you can’t look at H&G the way we look at the agrarian age, feudal age, and later.

I don’t think that would apply to our ancestors 250K years ago. They were fairly egalitarian compared to more modern societies. It’s likely if women were procreating with older men back then there was a good, practical reason for it.

I feel like there’s this weird horseshoe effect between people that have zero experience in a subject and people who have tons of experience in a subject. I’ve definitely had my fair share of relationships, platonic and romantic, with women, that have shaped many of my views. It’s possible I might share opinions with “incels” or people who have no experience from time to time, but I can’t explain that other than intuition is correct sometimes? Haha.

Indeed. The only people panicking about birth rates are shareholders and people who get rich off the unsustainable infinite growth economic model. I would imagine that average joe men give about the least shits possible since a single man needs like a tiny box and some McDonald’s to survive. If the current economy collapses due to women not having kids and the population declining, it will mostly be women crying about it not men.

I like Andrew Tate because I think he’s charismatic and a good motivator. If I watch an Andrew Tate video before going to the gym, I’ll usually feel more pumped up. He also has some genuinely good videos where he talks about being a better person and accomplishing good things in life. He also thinks highly of paternal and maternal figures, see any video where he talks about his dad or his grandmother. I don’t necessarily agree with everything he says and I don’t want to emulate his lifestyle but…

Are you under the impression a man can’t wipe a baby’s ass? The one and only thing women can do that men can’t is get pregnant and birth a child. But the same can’t be said about women, because women, on average, can’t do many of the jobs men can do.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/23 10:29 PM

Lmao @ “free labour”. Who the hell is going to pay you to wipe your own ass or change your own kids’ diapers? The only one in a position to pay you for that, if anyone, is the man, who is working an actual job and earning money/resources that enable you to stay at home and do the dishes and shit in the first place.

Sure: https://www.bls.gov/opub/ted/2000/feb/wk3/art03.htm Women labor force participation was significantly lower in the 1950s yet 1950s econ was great, arguably better per person than it is now. Adding women to the labor force definitely increases overall productive output, but that excess is just accumulated by the elite class. When you look at the fundamentals of an economy, the things actually required to live and prosper, men can handle the vast majority of those industries alone. For examp…

Sure they exist there’s just not many of them and they’re arguably worse at their jobs (female police officers more likely to use weapons, female firefighters can’t carry a heavy person out of a building as easy, etc). You say it’s the “same the other way around” but in the past far fewer women worked and we had perfectly functional economies and societies. There’s never been a functional system where men don’t do the brunt of the hard work (labour, agriculture, military, etc).

Generally speaking, when I feel more “alpha” it’s around softer spoken men who are physically smaller/weaker than I am, and less socially confident. When I feel like a beta it’s usually around high value, successful, charismatic, and confident men (more so than me anyway).
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/23 07:35 PM

It’s not two different arguments because the resources people rely on from the government come from the fruits of men’s labour. So even if a man is also reliant on the system, that just means they’re reliant on other men. There are definitely exceptions but overall, collectively, women rely on men. The only thing men truly need women for is population growth. If we could just clone ourselves we’d have no need for women. Women on the other hand could get by without men for a while but the second …

I don’t think women are afraid of men collectivizing, but women are afraid of losing the ability to control men and extract resources from them. A few women in this thread have mentioned the idea that they don’t need men. Lol of course they do. A man built the house they live in, men defend the country they live in, if someone breaks into their house they’re going to call a male police officer to save them, if they need money they’re going to go to the government which reallocates resources from…

Women are just supplementing their social desires with pet causes like social justice bullshit or actual pets. They also still get all the practical benefits from men since they receive a ton of government support and other shit that’s just male resources reallocated to them. Men are actually capable of being genuinely alone and self sufficient, most women aren’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/23 08:13 AM
1

Possibly. I believe that everything is extremely relative and we judge our status based on whatever our environment is. For example, when I’m hanging out with certain friends, I’m the “alpha” (more charismatic, physically imposing, confident, etc than they are), but with other groups, I’m more of a “beta” because I’m outclassed by other men in the group. I think this works with women as well. If I dated a woman who was tall, strong, financially successful, etc, then I would feel less “masculine”…

You don’t. You have to get accomplishments first then you get confidence from them. But, the problem is, like most things in society these days, nothing is proportional anymore. So even if you accomplish quite a bit, women can just go on social media and find a man out of the millions that are on there who ones you up. That’s true now but it’ll change if the trends continue. Same idea as the economy. If only the dumbest losers are poor, it’s no problem. But if society degrades to the point where even normal hard working people can’t afford a living, that’s what leads to revolt. Same idea in dating/social issues.

Share high value men. Make no mistake, monogamy is effectively dead as high value men establish pseudo-harems through various arrangements (mistresses, FWB, social media, etc). It’s not out in the open like official polygamy is but average women end up as side chicks to HVM in one way or another. Once an average hoe gets even a taste of HVM they will never go back, they’d rather share Brad Pitt than marry you or me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:16 AM
3

Indeed I agree, which is what largely changed when the “middle class” was established and when monogamy became extremely religiously and culturally enforced. In this more modern era, the “peasants” were now middle class workers who were all but guaranteed decent paying jobs and a wife and kids if they did the bare minimum (worked and followed the rules). Now we have a society where even men who work hard and follow the rules are fucked, both economically and in dating/marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:13 AM

I disagree because men only started giving a big shit about that in the modern day (as a result of the societal enforced monogamy I mentioned). In the past, elite men would just form harems of women, monogamy wasn’t an official thing (although pair bonding did happen it was more of a relationship of convenience or status than anything planned or enforced). There were/are still pseudo harems among the elites but, they had to hide them. That’s why exposing a cheating president or celebrity is know…

Yeah but the problem with using the nature argument here is that in nature animals compete in an all out fashion and the winners are the ones that are able to often literally fight for the “right” to procreate with the desirable females. You hit the nail on the head. Women have pets and children for affection or companionship. Men are just resources to women. Any romance or enjoyment a woman has with a man in a relationship is purely incidental. For any woman who disagrees, let me ask you: if your bf/husband quit his job tomorrow and never did anything to take care of himself ever again, but he was the nicest person ever and showered you with endless love and affection, would you keep him?

You opinion on its own is worthless though. If all your contribution just boils down to you wish something was a certain way, that’s nice for playing make belief. But what in reality would actually make it happen? What would make a woman make the first moves? Why would she do it? What could men or society or whoever do to facilitate that happening? Put something of actual substance forward not just your pointless fantasies.

Lmao it’s true bro. I’m not saying I agree with the “dog pill” but there’s absolutely something fundamentally broken about our dating culture and how women view men and relationships when a woman is willing to take care of an animal every day up to and including picking up its turds with her hands, but she views treating a man well as a burden or being oppressed. You’d think more women would date down considering how popular pets are with women. Pets are a complete burden in every way except for companionship. Here’s some blackpill math for you. One time I wanted to figure out what my approximate odds are of finding “the one”. I live in Canada so about half the population is women, that’s approximately 15 million people. Then we have to filter out the appropriate age range which leaves approximately half, so 7 million. Then we need single women, so that brings us down to 3 mil. Now we need to eliminate 80% of them because they’re fat. Down to about 600,000. Now gotta filter for my non-weight related p…

Sure there’s some heroes that look great into their 40s and even 50s but, generally it’s not the norm. I think The Wall typically refers to women who over-relied on their looks and genetics when they were young, and then they start to lose that edge as they age.

I’m sure that happens, but, I’ve also seen men turn to those things largely because of being completely and utterly under appreciated by women and society as a whole. For example I came across a thread once on Reddit (just an example that sticks out) where a woman was complaining about how her husband wasn’t helping her very much around the house. Then it turns out the dude works a hard job and works 12+ hours a day and she’s a stay at home mom. Men are just expected to slave away for our women …

In my experience women are generally far less willing to take responsibility for most things. They often feel entitled far more than men. Men can absolutely be that way too don’t get me wrong but, the princess mentality is extremely prevalent. Women are to be served and men are to serve. I’m not sure if women realize an entire “class” of men exist who are basically just tax and labour cattle for women/society.

Personally I agree that street level prostitution is bad. It’s bad for men and it’s really bad an exploitative for women. But I think professional level “escort” type services would be great. Men in slumps could definitely benefit from some companionship services. My work offers pseudo-therapy which just amounts to talking with someone. I don’t really see how escorts are much different than another form of therapy. You pay a woman to spend time with you, have fun with you, and then have sex with…

Try PSMF. It’s brutal but it works quickly and it’s as healthy as a “crash diet” can possibly be. The real trick is stabilizing at a healthy weight and maintaining good eating habits. I never would have needed to do PSMF if I’d just maintained my weight properly in the first place.

Men don’t get praised for shit, no one supports men that are dieting and exercising, everyone resents them and projects their massive insecurity on them. But if you were “institutionalized” obviously you had a real problem and weren’t just on a temporary fitness based cutting diet lmao. I’ve known plenty of fitness chicks who never got institutionalized for cutting, you’re being delusional as fuck.

Well, you’re doing two things here that aren’t helpful: 1) you’re ignoring the halo effect. It’s well documented that people’s perceptions of your actions is highly influenced by their perception of you as a person. So, if a more attractive person does the same thing as a less attractive person, it will be more accepted due to the halo effect even though it’s technically the same thing. 2) even if getting jacked is a frivolous endeavour, what alternative advice are you offering anyone? How does …

Lol you’re obviously some zoomer kid who knows jack shit. I skate circles around your entire generation financially, which would have been more than enough to attract a woman in the era where women couldn’t really earn a living on their own. But these days that’s no longer a “competitive” advantage because your bullshit “progressive” policies have over-subsidized women and enabled them to do whatever they want with minimal consequence. It’s hard to “compete” in a rigged system.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/22 07:34 PM

Then by that logic so are the millions of people who are under employed or unable to keep up with the cost of living. They’re all just getting left behind because they’re losers who “can’t compete”. Love how Darwinistic people get about dating when I’d bet 1000 bucks they’re socialist as fuck about economics.

High crime rates, high single motherhood, lack of relationship success for both men and women, high depression, etc. 40% of men right now are single, and of those who aren’t, 60% report unhappiness in their relationship. Western society, governance, and economics in general has highly encouraged a culture of extreme individualism and hedonism, to imo an irresponsible degree. For example, no one cares about getting married and having children here anymore because if we need to grow out population, we can just bring people in through immigration. Also, women don’t care about being in stable relationships with a provider husband because the government will supplement and subsidize them in many ways. It’s human natu…

It needs to be the right person, for sure. I’ve been in a couple of reasonably successful long distance and semi-long distance relationships. I think women generally want the emotional and other non-practical benefits of relationships but, in the modern day they can get those things everywhere. The problem is generally speaking women aren’t interested in men that are their exact “equal” (however you average that out). The girl you want to date is probably at or around your level (unless you’re delusional as fuck and overrate yourself). Problem is she’s not looking at you, she’s looking up to the dude one level above you. So, you either have to level up to become the dude she wants, or end up giving up and settling for a girl one step down who’s looking to date up to you (and leave the …

I’ll be aging too. It’s fine. The purpose of finding a young attractive girl is to START the relationship. Your question is like saying what if you went on a road trip but just teleported to the final destination. It’s fine to get there eventually but I don’t want to start there, defeats the entire purpose of the journey.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/22 05:18 AM
2

Yeah. The big problem too is men don’t have the perfect amount of attention either. Generally men have less than desirable amount of attention and women have more. Barring the ability to get the perfect balance, I’d still take too much attention over not enough. Even the threat of being harassed or even assaulted is, imo, still not as bad as the crushing feeling of loneliness (which drives many to suicide anyway).
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/22 12:14 AM
3

Fair point but, I’d also say it’s fairly innocuous to approach someone and socialize in a public place, like Starbucks. But if a woman otherwise just wanted to be left alone in her life and was being hassled I’d definitely sympathize. However in my experience attractive women that have this “problem” also typically have massive social media accounts with hundreds of followers, routinely go to public events/parties, etc. They just want their cake and eat it too.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/22 11:53 PM

Women could easily experience what the average man experiences if they just unplugged from social media. Every girl I’ve ever met who complained about unwanted attention also took absolutely zero steps to reduce the level of attention they receive. They hate the unwanted parts but they hate the idea of not being the centre of attention even more.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/22 11:35 PM

Fair enough. Least your building something for yourself. I can never understand why some people work so hard for other people. I lived in Japan for a while, it’s common there. And a lot of times they don’t even make more than I do working like half as much.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/22 10:46 PM
7

Agreed. Imo the complaints from women are just because women don’t know how to manage their options. They don’t know what it’s like on the other side. If I had the options women did my shit would be ironed out in five minutes.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/22 10:43 PM
4

I think that’s just because generally speaking the average person sucks, men and women. Something like 80% of people are overweight, which in itself would strongly suggest a lack of impulse control and discipline which no doubt carries over to other areas of life. When you want a decently attractive and motivated partner you’re immediately down to like 20% or less of the population out of the gate.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/22 10:33 PM
1

Absolutely. It’s a known phenomenon with all things, not just dating, that the more possible options you have the more trouble you have selecting and sticking with a choice. Online dating/social media has given women dozens if not hundreds of choices so many women take a long time to ever settle on a prospect. Men that would have been pretty high value in the old days (smaller social circles, less competition) are now barely showing up on the radar.

Okay, fair enough. My point is that let’s say I’m a fairly young, fairly attractive, fairly successful man. Theoretically I ought to be able to find an equally young, attractive, successful woman. However, because we tend to over-value the youth and attractiveness of women, it doesn’t work out that way. Often times a young, attractive, successful man will end up with a woman who’s, say, just young and attractive. The expectations and valuations are different. And sure there’s always exceptions t…

I think the problem here is expecting men to read your personal, individual “signs” instead of just directly communicating your thoughts and feelings. If men get in the habit of trying to “read signs” we end up in trouble because what’s a “sign” or one woman is not for others. When men approach women we tend to make our romantic interest fairly apparent. Why don’t women just do the same if that’s what they want?

My point is I’m not concerned if a woman makes a ton of money or not. I’d rather date an interesting woman who makes less money vs a high earner who lists shopping and travel as her only hobbies on her profile.

I think the frustration is that a lot of men feel like they have to date down in order to be successful with dating. You go into the game as a reasonably attractive, fit, successful man with a decent paying job, and what does the average woman bring to the table? She’s a woman? She does her hair and makeup (sometimes)? Sounds like your trouble is the age group. Or maybe it’s just me. But every since I got older I actually prefer it and find it attractive if a woman wants to hold off. One girl I dated last year flat out told me she didn’t want to have sex and she hadn’t had sex in years because she only does it after a serious relationship is established. Unfortunately I didn’t quite like her enough overall to pursue that but it definitely added points in her favour.

Of course, it’s always men’s fault. Most men can’t handle those jobs either, strong people succeed in those fields because strength and tenacity is required. Many men don’t possess those qualities and very few women do.

Every core industry is still dominated by men (agriculture, energy, logistics, etc), men are higher net tax contributors than women, women (especially white ones) are the largest beneficiaries of things like AA, etc. Men just don’t provide for women as directly 1:1 as they used to, but we still do most of the heavy lifting.

I guess but generally speaking I don’t think people want to be seen as boring or square. It’s an underhanded compliment at best, like you’re saying, “you’re the guy I want to settle down with after I’m done having fun”.

Then they both are. The men are interested in conquest and the women are interested in resources.

I doubt it happens equally to women. Women have way more options than men so would be far more likely to experience fomo or regret for a choice they made. It definitely can happen to women though.

They find it offensive because it’s patronizing. Like if I said you’re a good girl. There’s nothing inherently offensive about being a good girl but the phrasing and context is clearly patronizing. “Husband material” implies some dumpy middle aged man who’s lost his spark and energy. We don’t necessarily want to be fucking around but we want to retain some youthful vigour.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 08:53 PM

I doubt that. The existence of things like war brides in the past suggest that men are far more interested in family and community building than women are. Men fight and die to defend their countries, women marry and procreate with the invaders.

Because work sucks. If you could just marry a tolerable dude who gives you shit, and as a result didn’t have to work or didn’t work as hard, wouldn’t you want to do it? Fuck if I could find a sugar momma I’d quit my job yesterday.

Reddit full of some scorned ass women lol. I’ve rekindled things with an ex before, so some women out there definitely do. I think you’re going to hear from a lot of women who had bad experiences. Generally I’d say a rapport is established after you engage them in some way that’s natural/conducive to whatever activity is happening. Basically, it doesn’t seem forced or obvious pickup. As an example, I used to train kickboxing and wrestling and if I saw a woman there I was attracted to, I’d ask them if they wanted to partner up. This gives you an opportunity to work with them and then talk with them in a friendly and natural manner. If things hit off then eventually I’d ask them for their n…

I’ve had the best experience meeting women through a mutual activity. I met one of my gfs at work and a few others through language and cultural events. I’m not a fan of “pickup”, I’m just burned out of the game. I don’t want to go to some bar and put myself out only to get rejected and feel like shit. So, what I try to do is meet people naturally in a setting, especially a hobby or activity that involves communication and teamwork. I find by building a rapport with a woman and working/playing w…

Probably. One benefit of religion is religious communities. I’d say a huge barrier for men and even some women when it comes to relationships is having a social circle from which to actually make connections and meet people. Religion often solves this problem from the outset.

Even if that was true, women initiate divorce at twice the rate men do, so they’re largely the source of their own problem. And a woman being technically “poorer” than a man post divorce has no real bearing on how badly his life might be ruined by child custody arrangements or splitting assets. Men will base their decisions on risks to their own well being, not statistics regarding women’s well being.

Nevermind, I’ve met my fair share of 20-25 year old women who have already ruined their bodies with terrible habits. Imagine being in your physical prime and just wasting it completely? Men do it too don’t get me wrong, but personally I’m not concerned about men since they’re my competition if anything, haha. Ideally 90% of men would be overweight and no women would be lol.

Women absolutely have ways of playing the system against men, garnering sympathy, hiding things, spending child support poorly, denying responsibility for things, etc. I’ve seen it myself. And at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter whose fault it is, the simple fact is that men stand to lose a lot more in a relationship than women, from a legal/financial standpoint. Hell, here in Canada we have something called the female presumption rule for child custody and benefits which I’ve persona…

I think the problem has been deluding people into not believing that a significant component of a relationship is transactional. It surprises me that people appear to believe relationships are all about just being buddies. That’s what friends are for. When you’re in a serious relationship with someone, eventually you’re gonna have to get down to business. Finances, housing, child rearing, these things all require pragmatic considerations and so to me it’s only natural that both men and women loo…

Depends on the level of expectations set. I’d say it’s fine for society to bear some of the burden as long as expectations are clear. I don’t think it’s okay to burden society with the consequences of your decisions while simultaneously advocating for the ability to make any (bad) decision unchecked. Women wanted sexual freedom, and now there’s an issue with single motherhood. I’m all for sexual freedom but freedom comes with responsibility.

I’d say men and women experience risks at different parts of the relationship. Women definitely assume more upfront risk when meeting a new person, which you’ve outlined. But once a man is in a relationship and especially if kids are involved, the power dynamic largely swings in favour of the women. Men are afraid of gold diggers not because we think women are waiting in a dark alley to steal money from our wallets. We’re worried that once we’ve established a serious relationship and a family, w…

Agreed. Probably the same type of person that complains about capitalism and lack of job opportunities. “Welp, I didn’t have a problem getting a high paying job so I guess it’s a you problem” - doubt they’d like that response. Always find it interesting how women tend to be left leaning which means they typically look for social, cultural, and political explanations for things, yet when it comes to dating they’re hardcore bootstrappers, apparently.

You’re probably right if we’re talking about flat out rejection, but many men deal with another form of rejection where the woman liked them but just opted for another man. I’ve had this experience many times. Good vibes, clearly both enjoyed each other’s company, but the woman just loses interest and ends up ghosting. I feel like it’s a huge problem in the west due to obesity. When I lived overseas I definitely found the average woman more than attractive enough that I’d date. It worked out well for me because girls that the locals think are “ugly” by their standards are perfectly fine to me just by virtue of being a healthy weight, so I didn’t have to be so picky. In Canada and USA I’m already filtering out 70-80% of women on weight alone, nevermind anything else.

My prospects did increase overall in my 30s but I still mostly agree with you. One big factor that’s often overlooked is access to social circles. If you didn’t lockdown a good friend group and/or a partner when you were young, it can be insanely hard to find one when you get a bit older, especially if you don’t work around many women or don’t get out much. Humans aren’t the only pair bonding species. There’s an element of trust and loyalty that enhances a relationship in monogamy that might not be as easy to come by in a polygamous arrangement. Also societally speaking, monogamy helps eliminate the tendency for powerful men to accumulate harems. Things are returning to pseudo-harems now with social media but, in the post war era almost every man could reliably meet and settle down with a woman. A running theme in the thread is suggesting that foreign women only appear or act more traditional because they’re desperate. That may be true in some cases but, I’ve been to developed East Asian countries (Korea and Japan), and they aren’t desperate. Their culture and the average person’s behaviour and values just happens to be different than ours. We wouldn’t have distinct cultures if every culture was the exact same other than architecture or something.

I get it, there’s challenges and frustrations, men can be hypocritical and have unreasonable standards, men can be physically threatening in a way most women can’t be towards men. But in all of this there’s one key factor underlying everything that you’re underestimating. That factor is your role in the “search” for the “diamond”. I’m sure we’d all love the fountain of youth to be real. But the thing is, time comes for us all. Generally speaking men and women date in and around their age range, and we don’t just dump a woman because she got older. It might be meaningful for a man to start off dating a girl when she’s a bit younger because like I said there are some logistical advantages to having more time. Maybe. But I remember one time height came up and I’d forgotten I fibbed about it on my dating profile, and I mentioned something about height and how tall the other dudes were around, and she was like, “yeah but you’re still six feet at least”. That said, the average woman is still more highly valued in society than the average man. You’re talking about a truly unattractive woman, for her to not have abundant options. If I was dating a 22 year old girl (17 is legal where I live but that’s not a road I wanna go down hahaha), then if the relationship is good, I’ll stick with her forever. It’s a known psychological fact that having many options (with anything not just dating) makes it a lot harder to make a choice. Women online have so many options that it’s no surprise they don’t put much effort into any one person, or have difficulty settling on one person.

It’s a case of someone who’s dying of thirst watching someone else drown. Still, most women have no idea what it really feels like to have no options. I’ve had good relationships with women I genuinely loved but, I’d have to say they never put 50% effort in. I’m not saying I put all the effort in but it was at best 60-40. It’s possible you could meet a woman who puts equal or greater effort into the relationship as you do but, in my and many men’s experience it’s simply not the case. That woman would have to put less than zero effort in to get a dude like that though. Some attractive women like to date ugly/insecure men because they’re easy to dominate.
