Stupid. Who enforces this magical law that talks about defensive drafts? The same people who enslave people to act upon it. Words are flexible and it would take any broken down state legislator 15 seconds to justify a foreign war as a defensive war. Like Vietnam. The last time we used the draft. I am against the concept of a draft. It has never been used defensively in the US. Even in other countries your argument is "kill also drafted strangers or we throw you in prison or kill you". Doesn't sound like something a free country should do. Maybe I'd rather get my kids and family to safety instead of being thrown into a meat grinder to no end What if said small country's government isn't worth defending?
