That's not quite true. Sales is tangible, measurable, easily defined. Religion isn't stupid, I didn't say it was. I was a fundamental for 40 years. It's extremely damaging, to marriage, to your mind and to your life choices. You just cannot see it while you're in it, believing it. There is such freedom (and no loss of quality of life) outside of religion. Maybe it's different in the US, I don't know. But the fact remains it's all fairytales, and if you're cherry picking parts of the bible, then …

Religion becomes what its user needs it to be. It is not based on rationality. There is nothing here that couldn't have been written by a follower of a different religion. Religion is not blue pill or red pill bullshit. It's just plain bullshit, and demonstrably so. Some of us have other pills to swallow...

I fucked up a lot of my life based on my relationship with Jesus. There's another pill you need to swallow: Jesus is not real. You are not forgiven. You need to own your mistakes.

I've been questioning my rationality recently, due to my stockpiling food and water, buying silver and gold coins, hoarding cash, building up items to barter with etc. It's good to know there are other rational males out there doing the same, and I'm not some lone nut job...
