Man I missed this daily chat. Why are they so dead compared to a year and a half ago?

I don’t think you are arguing with someone of sound mind sadly.

I think thats a totally reasonable outlook on things to have. That being said, these posts don't seem to be saying this sentiment at all. All of these posts just come down to people saying "because I get periods and pregnant, you need to have x, y, z qualities" and somehow its usually never being a helpful, courteous person. Some of these posts are even more like "I get periods and get pregnant, therefore it's impossible for men to ever do enough for me". I just struggle to believe this is how n…

I’m convinced these posts about how women need to use the fact that they get pregnant and have periods as leverage to justify men needing to do a bunch of other unrelated shit are made by women that are either asexual or haven’t realized they aren’t heterosexual yet at all. I don’t think normal women that actually like men think like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/25 11:46 PM

“No one’s ever gotten to like someone after knowing them”

The whole thing was obviously a way for people that hate men to virtue signal about how much they hate men. It wasnt any deeper or more interesting than that.

A lot of them and redpillers in general don’t believe women have actually strong beliefs and will bend over for anyone who turns them on. They like the idea of swaying some turbo liberal chick away from her steadfast beliefs with their dick basically, or maybe not change her belief but will bed him anyways because she can’t resist.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/25 03:20 PM

Probably not
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/25 05:33 AM

Yeah, what people don't get about wine is that most people with a lot of practice can at least learn what the different ones taste like by heart and why, even if to people that dont' drink it often it all tastes the same. Some people will never get the hang of it, but on the other extreme some people really are able to taste which country and climate and vineyard they came from.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/25 04:03 AM

Unless u know u fucked up, the person who is pissed should sleep on the couch if they really don't feel like sleeping next to their partner. The idea of forcing someone to sleep somewhere else because I am mad is just absurd.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/25 02:59 AM

No argument there, considering a lot of red pillers just use it as a guide to manipulate women/make them more pliable.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/25 05:26 AM

This is some deep Pentecostal shit. edit: I didn't even read the part where you mentioned Pentecostal churches before commenting LMAOOOOO
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/25 03:54 AM

I forgot to mention but I tried measuring myself using the stretch method to see if it was any different than measuring a full erection and it was at most 1/4 of an inch less, but probably more like 1/8 of an inch less (I can’t remember the exact erect length, lol). So I guess you can bin that part of the theory
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/25 04:13 PM

Middle income people are more thoughtful about having kids, and will worry about their financial situation in regards to it, while poor people are generally stupid and put no thought into major life changing decisions at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/25 05:28 AM
6

How are you supposed to know if it’s one sided until you confess? Or maybe the other person will see them in a bee light if the know how they feel? Sorry but a lot of women are really shit at giving signals sometimes especially to close friends because they are also worried about changing the dynamic.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 06:22 AM

You are right, it’s not cool to assume the worst in men who confess feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/25 06:03 AM

To be clear, it doesn’t have to be this man, I just needed a visual.

I meant that it’s common even though it’s not a majority. My bad
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/24 08:06 PM

Idk I think you are using some really contrived logic to defend this idea that an average bear is actually less dangerous than a random male human. Especially since this whole question is about what is safer to run into in the woods.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/24 02:27 AM
10

I’ve encountered hundreds if not thousands of people hiking in the woods, and have never felt threatened by any of them. I don’t really care what the average person is capable of because my experience tells me it’s almost certainly never going to be bad, and even if the bear most likely isn’t going to attack me, I think my luck would run out if I ran into bears as often as I did people hiking

Was this post about married couples where one partner is a SAHM (something that is actually pretty common if not a majority of households) or average married couples?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/24 11:34 PM
8

I need to point out, the trope of a wife that doesn’t let his husband have any fun has existed for decades at this point. Otherwise though I do agree when men get married, in the aggregate will see their social life shrink much more than women will.

The people this advice is targeted to are so outside of the norm the advice is useless, and like the equivalent of telling a broke guy who wants to be a millionaire that they should step outside their houses. Obviously they will have to leave their house if they want gainful employment but everyone knows that has to happen lol. It would just be advice given to make the giver feel superior
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/24 03:32 AM
5

This is completely untrue. How come there are so many deadbeats out there have kids/baby mamas? Not saying this is an aspirational lifestyle at all, but clearly most broke people can date and and have a family if they manage their expectations for who they attract.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/24 01:35 AM

Why do so many people on reddit say sharing hobbies isn’t that important? Do Reddit couples just never do anything together? It feels like a conspiracy on behalf of Redditors to convince normal people to date redditors whose only hobby is reddit.

Assault and battery of women actually is common unfortunately and it almost always happens at the hands of an intimate partner or family member, not a stranger who was told no. Which is what 95% of the posts on the sub are about because the actual thing the sub was created for happens so rarely.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/24 02:10 AM

I love that there is a whole sub for something evidently so common they only get one actual post about said things happening every two weeks.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/24 01:30 AM

Iv’e never heard a reasonable explanation for how men talking about their problems to their girlfriend is using them as a therapist, but why women on average doing the same but way worse, is not.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 11:47 PM

I can agree with that second point, especially since a lot of dicksize paranoia is just mental illness.

How can redditors not get that it can hit a guy hard in his masculinity to hear that his dick is too small to satisfy his girlfriend? Even if he is great at eating her out! It's like they are completely disconnected from normal human emotion.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/24 09:57 PM

Most guys here are not dumb enough to say literally everyone will do. And there are a lot of women who aren’t as obese as that woman is or single moms (totally tangential I know but many of them have even higher standards because low standards (or at least prioritizing the wrong things) got them into their mess and now they need to consider their kids).
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/24 07:56 AM

Don’t listen to everyone OP. I think this trend is sick and perverse as well. In fact I want you to tell me where these women are so I can go up to them and give them a piece of my mind in person.

I mean most of the women I end up liking are not absurdly beautiful, (at least I don’t think they are to the average person, they were beautiful to me). But if someone’s overweight I’m just saying that attraction isn’t going to develop, lol.

It might be helpful for some people that really need to watch their fat intake, and want an even denser source of protein than milk already is I guess. Other than that, it's more useful as an ingredient in other things.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/24 05:03 PM

I don't even really agree with the premise, but responses like this are so meaningless. The question is "is it immature" and I think people can broadly agree many behaviors and thoughts are immature. The question isn't if someone has a right to those thoughts, and never has been.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/24 05:38 AM

I really like this and there is definitely an equivalent for men here. People say men that struggle with dating should always just try dating in their league, but if a guys problem is being awkward and weird, it doesn't matter how low he tries to go. Like, its easy to see how obese people end up dating other obese people because that is their league, but there is no way this will ever translate into an obese woman dating an average or even about average guys that are autistic and off putting bec…

Seriously, if Switzerland is anything like every other continental European country I've been too the women must be beautiful. /r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 02:43 AM

I’m going to add also, just because a guy vents, or complains, or even lashes out verbally once in a blue moon, does not make him not a good guy. There is a saying “trying the patience of a saint” and this is exactly that. This sub isn’t so guilty of it, but a lot of the dating subs are, and they blame men who are always posting there at a low point, and judge them based on that and relate their lack of success to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 02:25 AM

Responding to someone’s old comment here: I think to a lot of women, it’s really uncomfortable to see that a guy that you are t into is good, and then realize the sane reason you arent into him is why no one else is. No matter how unappealing he is, it feels wrong if he is a good person, and no matter how good a person it is, you aren’t being attracted to him. So when a guy like this inevitably complains about his lot, it’s easy to point and say “this is why you are single, work on it”. It break…

Also autistic men could mean the world to someone by doing good for the community/society in general. There is no need to limit yourself to only doing good and having meaning in a relationship. Why not just do good for your community by proving good quality work in an in-demand job/trade and by donating your time to charity? This is unintentionally the most brutal thing I've ever read on this sub.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 04:17 AM

That’s basically the same thing as this.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 03:16 AM

I’ve been reading some threads from women contemplating being single mothers by choice and almost all the discussion centers around how hard it will be for them rather than what the experience for the child will be. It’s just assumed ahead of time that will not be a problem. Really convincing me more these are too self centered to be good parents in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 01:05 AM

I don’t expect anything, but I would take being treated from a utilitarian perspective. It would make me feel like a king and I get food from it. I would then try to come up with something other way to treat this prospective partner for next time, if everything is still going good
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 02:29 AM

You are taking this a little too seriously. Who doesn’t want to be treated occasionally?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 11:53 PM

What would your ideal man look like?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 03:19 AM

Is this what you want your man to look like?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 02:33 AM

R you the same person who talked about how their mom said don’t come home until you have a gf?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 03:34 AM

I’m going to clarify my comment a little bit. When I said the way someone women here talk about Kate bloomer men was harsh, I don’t have a problem with women here saying they don’t want them. I dislike all the rationalizations some of you here (not all. Most of you don’t do this in fact) come up with for why they will never get what they want in dating. It doesn’t feel any different than incels saying single, 30+ women will end up miserable spinsters
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 12:59 AM
15

If your a late bloomer (like me) me then I’m sorry but it’s just not going to be easy. The truth is, you are going to have to work hard to get anything, especially what you want. And no matter how much you try, people along the way (at least here) are going to say you just aren’t doing enough and clearly arent trying as hard as they did, when they aren’t even playing the same game. The process of making mistakes and learning through dating, they had the benefit of doing with other people who wer…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 09:31 PM

The way some women here talk about late bloomer men here is deranged. They want there to be nothing left for them, or for at best their only options to be morbidly obese or single moms.l that have closed up shop. Maybe it’s just a revenge fantasy thing, but what’s the point of that fantasy at all?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 09:26 PM

I don’t think it’s really a nitpick if her experience of about one years didn’t make her suicidal almost two decades later.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 06:41 PM

It's probably not nearly as common as random women seeing that and assuming the dad is molesting his daughter.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 06:13 AM

The women on this sub who have never been in a relationship and are convinced about how terrible dating will turn out for them is slowly starting to balance out the incels here. I'm not calling anyone out in particular, but I see all of you 😘
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/24 06:08 AM

Do you actually subscribe to a reality where most women are in a relationship with men they find unattractive and have sex with unwillingly, or is this a hypothetical scenario to respond to what men here say?

This guy sounds like a dick and I’m sorry she had a bad 8 months. On the other hand, saying it was bad because he has Asperger’s (which she admits is just her suspicion) and because of that she will never date someone with Asperger’s is really missing the forest for the trees . The obvious conclusion should be to not give a total ass that many chances.

I partly agree, but I think it has a lot more to do with men thinking it smart to go right to the source and ask women what they want so they can then give what they were told to women they are interested. There are a few reasons it doesn’t work out, but that’s my theory.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/24 02:51 AM

Yeah, and there are other pretty straight forward things you can control that will make it an even lower chance (like I know if I never cheat, that lowers the chance of divorce. I can’t help what my partner does but I know if I avoid that, it lowers my chance of being divorced)

I actually liked this feature of the app as a guy and bumble is by far my best app. I think it's because women messaging first is sort of a second round of filtering out people that aren't that interested in me. I'm also not sure who everyone here is swiping on, because for me it's about a 50% chance if I get "hey" or something unique more unique (at least asking about my day). It’s worrying how many people think yelling and screaming are always a part of relationships and that’s just how it is. Both the people that scream and the ones that put up with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 01:48 AM

All humans have inherent worth, and I agree it’s rude and mean to say these people are worthless. But when it comes to dating, it’s entirely up to men she meets if it’s a problem. If it’s not great, if it is, I don’t think it’s unfair if guys don’t like her past. It’s not anymore unfair then women taking issue with a jabs lack of experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 09:34 PM

I get that sometimes, but the tone really is what sets it bad. Recounting my own experience the nicest way someone put it was “anyone that makes you feel like shit is dead ass regarded”. Not privilege, but there are two things that come to kind, as an above average guy. Firstly, People think I’m fucking with them if I bring up that I struggle to date. Secondly, I’m starting to presume also that people assume I have something seriously wrong with for my lack of experience. People enjoy things the most when their skill level matches the difficulty of the task, especially they are doing a highly difficult task they are skilled at. For the guys here that are struggling to date, they are doing something that is way harder than what their skill set is, so of course they would be happier if it was easier, especially since a lot of them are a lost cause when it come to gaining any real skill at dating.

I have some major doubts that was true during the industrial era which is really the least believable part of OPs claim. This got me googling and I found this. But chronic heavy drinking can prime certain metabolic processes and, in effect, train the body to waste the seven calories a gram that alcohol ordinarily provides. For example, weight gain was negligible in alcoholics who were given 2,000 calories of alcohol daily on top of the 2,500 calories from foods they consumed to maintain their weight. But when the same number of additional calories were fed as chocolate, a steady weight gain resulted. LMFAO, fuckin…

This is a reasonable take, and I agree the work doesn’t stop. I certainly think all parents should take part in child rearing. The one thing I want to counter this with is that work from home would not be such a big perk if it wasn’t preferable to most people.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 04:28 AM

No I’m not, and I’be seen what it’s like to be a stay at home parent with my own eyes. 40 hours of looking after an infant isn’t as time consuming or tough as 40 hours of working a normal job. Not saying a working parent shouldn’t help out the stay at home one, but it’s just not the same and you have a lot more freedom and the comfort of your own home at least.

Looks like this will go unanswered, but it's probably obvious to anyone with eyes, that the point of playing hard to get is that they think it's fun to make men have to try harder, and maybe they even hope it will set the tone of the relationship. Not actually about increasing the chances of dating some guy.

If sex is the hold up, it’s better just to lie until it’s not a lie anymore. Much harder to fix is having no dating or relationship experience. The effects of that is going to permeate how you behave and your general comfortability through the whole process of dating and it usually shows. And it turns out buying intimacy is way more expensive than buying sex.

Because women will almost always (somewhat rightfully) see it as a red flag and an increasingly bigger one as you get older. /r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 08:20 PM

This is a strange comment. I don't think that many men lost dates for defending him (or rather his right to a trial). Most reasonable people also, can see how destructive criminal accusations can be to the lives of the accused regardless of innocence, and that even being totally cleared of charges will never totally fix this devastation. Was anyone actually saying that his right to the presumption of innocence meant his victim should not have pressed charges?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 06:51 PM

5'7 is about as far from the mean as a male 6'0 (in America) so that is where I draw the line at tall for women. Thats my logical answer at least, personally it doesn't feel like a woman is that tall until about 5'9.

I can't describe the rage I feel looking looking for environmental science related jobs and seeing these bullshit "environmental technician" jobs that have nothing to do with my degree pollute my search results.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 05:46 PM

Thats the thing, for an average height, average frame guy to be above 200 pounds and shredded is almost impossible without PEDs . If you are a 250 pound guy, and start working out, you're maximum at that weight will still look a bit flabby, but thats still way better than if you hadn't worked out at all. I only bring this up because some people even caution against working out to be more attractive, and I think that is insane when its the one thing most guys can change a lot without surgery.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 05:33 PM

I hear a lot of people discuss what the ideal body male body type for attracting women is, and a lot of people (including women) give wildly different answers, so can we all just agree that as long as you aren't doing steroids it is practically impossible to make yourself less attractive to women by working out too much? Especially if you baseline is being sedentary?

It should be noted that most nations with high fertility rates are desperate to get them lower and historically many have even acted extremely coercively or forcibly in achieving their goals. There are exceptions to this such as Romania's dictatorship under Nicolae Ceaușescu where abortion was banned and contraception heavily restricted. Most countries trying to increase their rate, are fall into the low fertility democratic category and necessarily rely on incentives to do this. Interestingly I…

Knowledge of family planning and access to resources for it, plus women becoming more educated correlates much more strongly with low birth rates than general feminist attitudes (see Iran for an extreme example). There probably is a correlation between how feminist a society is and how better it is about the above I listed. Edit: If anyone thinks I was saying family planning is a bad thing, I'm not.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 08:42 AM

There is a lot disagreeable with this post but firstly, financially it makes sense for everyone to try and climb economically as much as possible, man or woman. In practice women do it way more though which is why this is brought up, and I would hope most people are dating for reasons other than finances. Anyways logical as it is, and men should absolutely be wary of this and to what extent their partners loyalty is affected by financial matters. If you want I be proudly hypergamous go ahead, bu…

No it didn’t actually, what in this article indicates that more research was done? People sharing their stories on social media isn’t research. And that article from the Guardian for evidence cites another from the Guardian that cites the exact same article that was retracted! If you want to see what the republished one said here it is. It concludes that only in cases of heart condition is there a gender disparity. And this can be a good example of p hacking too since if you break your study sub…

You are being disingenuous when you share all these stats, but then dismiss the ones that show men are not more likely to leave women in the case of their partners and instead cite support groups for in this case that happens (something likely that has to do with women more likely forming support groups in general). As for married women not living as long as single women that is incorrect. The data shows that married women live no longer or shorter than single women, and that generally married w…

That’s your right to think that way but the saying “A society grows great when old men plant trees in whose shade they shall never sit” really resonates with me. Certainly this doesn’t matter that much but I can’t be further away from that mindset

Your math is terrible and ignores how abuse works. Most child abuse happens within the family so you can mostly disregard people doing childcare work. And it’s a major stretch to make that men would be abusing more children if they were staying home, since abuse is a crime that the same individuals are doing for a period of time itself. It’s not a crime of opportunity.

It’s definitely not a death sentence and I would encourage autistic men and women who want to be social to not give up. But it really is tough when you learn social skills a lot slower than other people and so much of socialization is built on things you learned earlier in life
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/24 11:10 PM

A lot of people here say the most absurd things about what autism is like and how it works. I think these people don’t like that it’s a good excuse and not a personal failure to have no dating success, so they desperately try to come up with rationalizations for why it is in fact a personal failure..
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/24 10:56 PM

Are you personally autistic by chance? Because I’m telling you this ostracizing begins extremely early and doesn’t get better for a lot of reasons. And never suffering consequences for autistic behavior, isn’t one of them.

I think there is probably a lot more people lying about being happy in their relationship than the existence of the relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/24 03:35 AM

I think what’s a lot more common rich old men going for 18 year olds is men in their mid 30’s to early 40’s who were busy building their career dating women between 24 and 29 so they can have kids and a few year honeymoon period before jumping into that.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 11:39 PM

It's a reflection of behavior I guess. And what do you think the solution to that is?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 05:33 AM

If I could completely unfuck my past, I would. But there is no amount of therapy or anything else that will give me a time machine to do that. And the end result is no experience, and because of that I'm going to be seen a certain way by most people no matter what until that is fixed. I see what you are getting at, you want to make me see it's not actually the lack of experience but something else related, but really at the end of the day it is the lack of experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 05:25 AM

The root problem is being inexperienced. I'm trying to work on it, but it's like squeezing blood from a rock and I'm not getting any younger.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 05:07 AM

Yeah… and it really hurts.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 05:02 AM

Not him, but it's the expectation of having some experience that increases exponentially with age thats really a killer.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 04:39 AM

Nothing we do will ever be enough for people like you.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/24 04:37 AM

You know I’ve never considered it a chore at all to be a supportive person to friends and family who were down. Even if it was a bit of a long rough steak. It certainly doesn’t feel close to anything I would consider labor at all. I really can’t get into the empathize with these people going on about how much “emotional labor” they do for their partner because he is sad sometimes.

No that’s women that love making their partner feel insecure when they make more than them, because they feel they are doing his job when that happens. Not saying there aren't men that do this too, but its' probably more common in relationships when women make more than when men make more.

If she wants children still. It's not exactly a representative sample, but the single moms I see on dating apps are 50/50 on whether they want more kids or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 05:32 AM
12

Most people want to have their own children, and most people don’t plan on dealing with a child in the relationship right out of the gate. It’s really that simple. I have to disagree that single moms are less picky as a rule as well. It might be true for some but many are even more picky because it was a lack of caution that led to them having that child in the first place.

I never consider this before but now that I think about it, it explains just how many weird names I see on dating apps but never in real life. Not sure what you consider significant but it’s really confused me some days. I’ve definitely seen people spoofing their location before. The most annoying thing about that is that it’s always an only fans promotion.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/01/24 07:26 PM

I’ve been guilty before for sure. In my defense, a lot of you could be getting your points across with a lot less text.

What’s with the obsession of the 19-21 bmi range? I thought healthy was 18.5-24.5
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 02:52 AM

This really depends. I think almost every guy has some range they are comfortable with. Most have a limit of not taller than them (though this has almost no effect on their options since even more women have the inverse standard). Beyond that though I don’t think most guys have a problem dating women up to a foot shorter than them. A lot have preferences for talker or shorter but that can be highly negotiable for most.

This idea really misses the mark and applies modern standards of thought to the Middle Ages. People joined the clergy for all kinds for reasons, most way more common than just being an incel. Among them were a want to serve god and guarantee a spot in heaven, to gain influence, and to do something that was seen by everyone as extremely honorable. Keep in mind also that a lot of clergy married throughout the Middle Ages, against the wishes of the Catholic Church.

Have you seen the people women choose to reproduce with? Way I see it, calling autistic people lazy for not socializing enough is like chiding a 70 year old for not being in good shape. Sure he could workout enough to be in good shape, enough to look fairly good even. But the effort is way more than for a 20 year old, it hurts way more to do it, and even if he does it religiously he will never be as fit as a 20 year old who puts in less effort. And can you really blame the 70 year old for not wanting to try? Even though he laments the feebleness of hi…

Firstly talk about an edge case. Secondly, If you are that exceptional in Samoa why you have a problem dating other people that exceptional in Samoa? Do you think k the fit women there are going to be into the average heavy weights on the islands? A lot of Samoan men who are overweight have that power lifter build going on so they might get more mileage then most people with their weight, but still like normally attracts like.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/23 11:38 PM

I think a non overweight partner for someone who is also not overweight and is active is pretty darn reasonable to ask for. As for what is average the obesity rate for people m, in addition to your age bracket you need to also consider where you live. My state is one of the least obese in the nation, and what is see is an even lower rare since I live in a city, in an more affluent part of town. So my actual peers probably aren’t overweight on average

/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 02:59 AM

The first part happened, but the statement about when it became controversial is untrue, and I say this as someone that is pretty pro-choice. Abortion historically in America a was legal until the “quickening” when the babies movements could be felt since it was believed the fetus was not yet alive or had a soul. However starting in the early 1800’s more states started to outlaw abortion, as it was realized by physicians and scientists that the quickening didn’t have any bearing on the fetus act…

On a slightly different note, women telling men here that they have deeper and more meaningful friendships that men do is a laughable crock of shit. Not saying women can’t be great friends and men can’t be terrible ones, but they can’t be serious when they say it. IN almost any context outside of these internet fights, you find women saying they wish their friendships were more drama free like men's.

I agree with that too about the power thing, and I think couples should try to match each others energy, but my experience really confirms this thing about doing too much. Growing up my mom had really tough standards of cleanliness growing up. My house was cleaner than anyone else I knew, and while I appreciate that, my moms expectations and her reaction when they were not met caused everyone a lot of unnecessary stress.

Okay I see you are starting from the perspective that because women give birth, 50/50 is never fair. I can kind of see what you mean but, pregnancy can easily be factored into going 50/50z. I think it’s perfectly fair for a man to offer a lot of support and do more than his share of chores while a woman is pregnant and while she is recovering, and if possible to take 3 months of leave or whatever he is entitled to from his work or government, to make it easier on the wife (let this go through th…

Its really strange how reddit and redditors are very reserved about giving sympathy to guys sharing their dating struggles, especially since its something that is so universally felt by men at least at some point in their lives. reddit can give a lot of unquestioning sympathy to pretty much everything else, but personal posts from men about dating problems are often going to get picked apart and psychoanalyzed by weirdos trying to find out why it's all your fault and you deserve it. I think this…

Serious advice for guys that want to intervene in a domestic right in front of them. There is a very high chance it will turn into a two-one fight with you against the abuser and his partner. And when I say very high chance, I don’t even mean something like 10% or 20% where it probably won’t happen but still might so it’s risky. I mean it’s like a coin flip whether this happens or not

Yeah. The other side of this idea that men are jealous or insecure of their partners success, is that women often resent that their partners are not fulfilling their role m when they earn less than them, and that women often see making lots of money as a means to an end to find someone who makes even more money.

It’s pretty normal for women to vent for their partners and not want help, even if it’s about the saner high over and over a lysine. Is that not emotional immaturity? I think this is a large part about what is confusing guys, that many women do this but hate even a fraction of it in return.

Not so much the misogyny, but the conclusion that girls don't want short guys... comes from the experience of short guys trying to date, especially since many of them are going into dating with less confidence from the previous 15, 16 years of being treated differently for being short. Obviously not every short guy will struggle, but at the end of the day, people aren't born with low confidence, or with misogynisitc ideas. It's developed early on.

I’ve said several times before on their sub, that woman love the idea of men that are projects, but only if that means trying to domesticate a “bad boy” (can refer to someone who is just a player to full on criminals as long as they didn’t rape or murder someone), not make good guy more confident. And at that, the fantasy is that he chooses to change because this he loves his woman so much, he literally can’t help but be better under her influence, so it’s not even really a real project.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 12:01 AM

Straight from the twox horses mouth. What I like about this one is that she is so close to realizing these women are outliers and for whatever reason, they are just unlucky. But instead she decides men today must be even worse than the ones who grew up 60 years ago and were more sexist.

I think if someone is in good health and has taken care of themselves, or doesn’t have any kids, it is completely reasonable to want to date someone else that has no respect for their own body, or who is a single parent. If someone was complaining that only people they could get dates with were people over $50,000 in debt when they were financially responsibly, I wouldn’t be chiding them for complaining about their own league.

I think this is honestly just rationalizing not wanting to be the one to take that initiative. The theory I heard is that the women initiating will cause the man to feel a certain negative way and he will undermine it, but I just think that’s painting with a huge brush something that depends both on the man and who the women initiating us, and the circumstances around it. Some men are just more casual about that stuff and truly don’t care. Others don’t like taking the initiative much at all and …

/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/23 07:45 AM

It's of course complicated, and I've seen some strange things happen. But I just think it's obnoxious to act like they are doing the earth a solemn duty by sleeping with chad. its so obviously a post hoc justification that they don't believe in, and that that no one even demanded in the first place. And on top of it all, it's just really really gross sounding, to hear them talk about other people like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/23 07:25 AM

The incel forums are full of posters who are short who had tall dads but short moms. They just become recessive carriers for our species genetic garbage in this situation. The whole thing is gross to me, but thats where the logic train leads to.

Fuck yes, if there is anything this country needs more of it's children raised in single parent households. At least adopt if you are going to do this so an already existing kid can grow up in a more loving situation instead of creating new life just because.

I really hate women on some of these threads get into on this weird darwinistic shit, and act like they are doing the world a favor by only reproducing with chad. And it always seems lost on them that if 80% of men are trash and should't reproudce, then most women including them are no better.

I'm gonna go ahead and say I know more about approaching men than you do, and they absolutely feel emasculated by it unless they're already quite feminine or desperate. Can I also ask why you don't think it's their job at all? You don't really say why in your post, just repeat that it's not their job to do this. You do say it's their job to teach them good relationship habits though, which to me just makes it more odd that it's not their job to do this. there doesn't seem to be a good reason at all for this to be another one of the many things parents ought to do for their kids, so why is it not?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/23 07:38 AM

This is really odd to me, because don’t know a guy that didn’t ask their parents for dating help in their teens, nor anyone who wasn’t obliged. It’s extending normal for parents can help and give advise, sometimes pretty in depth too. And yes that includes attracting them/not putting them off. Any parent that wouldn’t help their teen if they asked would be doing bad by their kid.

In economic terms, there is not a lot of competition in that market especially the more specialized the equipment you are looking for is, and most of the their customers are organizations that needs the equipment to do their work, so they will pay what they need for it, and pass it on to their customers. In regards to “nagging”. If someone is constantly being told what they are doing is wrong, that is inevitably going to be internalized and resentment against the person nagging will build. Study participants examined photos of people’s various facial expressions and focused on what they thought a person may be thinking or feeling by looking at the area around their eyes. Participants were then given a limited list of words to describe what they saw. Sounds like a study on perceiving how someone is feeling based on how they look. without them saying anything. Not one that really has anything to do with truly understanding someone else’s pain

Can you imagine for a second, if you haven’t experienced this , what it would be like to feel your partner was cheating? After taking a minute to ponder what the emotional pain and anxiety that would come with this would be like, think for a second about why you would want to make someone you love feel that way. And how would he feel if he found out you weren’t actually cheating but trying to hurt him? Can you see now how this is emotional abuse?

Okay, first women don't like dick pics because of differences in sexuality between men and women, and women aren't turned on by dicks the same way men are by breast. Thats not even something men receive regularly. Across art history, in every culture, women are depicted for beauty far more often than men. Because men are the one's making art most of the time throughout history. Another point, I strongly contest how many women are actually that put together. And a huge part of attracrtiveness is …

The discussion around the kinds of personalities those nerds have is just women trying to justify dating douchebags. By claiming they somehow know the personality of the nerds they would never even give the time of day, and also making excuses for their own mistreatment, since they already admitted they the jock is an asshole. Not that all women are like this, but it’s clearly ruffling some feathers.

This is the first time I’ve actually heard a woman agree with this sentiment a lot of guys on here have, that men not opting out could be disastrous, which is interesting. At the end of the day though there is no real solution. Women can’t be forced to date people and taking away VR from incels that actually like that would be comically cruel.

And not wanting to and the consequences of doing it are all that is stopping them. It changed how I think about it as a guy.

Ultimately I posted pictures of my face online in some discord servers, full of people I knew would be pretty brutal. And they were tbf, but their jabs were about how could someone that good looking be such an idiot to fail at dating. The men opening up topic is really good because there is basically no arguing against it. Women love using their boyfriends as their emotional toilet and somehow this acceptable but it's not acceptable, to a lot of the same people, that their man show any level of vulrnerability. Blaming them on how they do it really falls flat as an reason for why women suddenly get distant, even though some men definitely do it.

Where do you live that you are surrounded by mostly thin women? Outside of the south and midwest. This sub is also mostly made up of younger people and the obesity rate is much more concentrated amongst older individuals. So yes I’m confident most of the women around me are not obese
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/23 12:49 PM

The reason women want to date men who are already high status/have good careers (be there at the finish line) rather than date guys with potential is so obviously not because women are worried about being traded in later. The truth (that they don’t want to be hitched to a deadbeat) is perfectly reasonable anyways, I don’t get the need make up this other reason. Especially since high status men constantly dump their wives even if they met them when they were already high status.

This has been asked a million times by now, but mostly because it’s a reasonable point that no one can really argue against. A certain group of women really should stop getting angry at it and shaming people who have this preference. It wasn’t like they were going date these people otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 04:01 AM

The topic is FDS women. What I listed are all things FDS women keep saying over and over again, and they keep getting cheered on by other members for saying. To be fair, the sub rules don’t allow others to call each other out ever, but that’s also a reflection of how the community thinks. And either way, the principles of FDS and what people take away from it don’t exist apart.

depending on your age, thats a preference (not even a preference really a baseline) that like 95+% women have. and thats ignoring every other preference both partners are going to have. So it's really fucking tough to make up that experience if you are behind. Honestly, I hate to say this, but I think the best route for a lot of guys at that point is to just lie about that aspect of their past until they get a chance to have sex, where it will then be obvious, but at least they will have some ex…

The same way women feel manipulated by guys that ghost them after one night stands I guess. I'm presuming if a guy is high value he probably realizes FDS is a bad deal, so the point is to not let on what they are actually going to expect from him in a relationship for as long as possible. I mean logically a Redpiller could do the same thing by hiding the kind of person they are.

Standards like expecting oral sex but refusing to give it in return? Standards like expecting someone to pay for everything for them, and never giving a cent back? Or are you referring to the standards of only dating guys in good shaped while fervently defending their right to not do the same? They are very openly non reciprocal in their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/23 11:30 PM

There is supposed to be a pay off for being generous with courting. With FDS, you are just going to be on the hook for paying for her shit indefinitely. Someone who offers to pay but will bounce if you take them up on the offer is still a 6
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/23 10:32 PM

I do not believe the level to which they want to be “provided” for is at all reasonable, especially when they refuse to contribute back, even though they also pride themselves on having their own jobs.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/23 10:28 PM
2

I disagree, partly because this is a cultural thing and in other countries splitting the bill is the norm. But for me knowing the guy paying is the norm, I’ve always considered a woman willing to split a good sign (in b4 she only does that because she isn’t interested, this does not track in my experience). And I still doesn’t think this addresses that they are looking for someone who is going to pay for everything for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/23 10:14 PM

The point seems to be finding a guy that will pay for dates in the hope he will always pay for dates. My money is my money, his money is also my money.

Your premise is good, but your examples are terrible, almost to the point where this could be bait. The amount of people who can't get dates because they aren't showering is really low. I have never believed that priests sodomizing children is a result of them not handling celibacy well. I used to think this was a good retort but I don’t anymore. Adding ugly people dating other ugly people doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence. And you have no idea what else that ugly guy had that helped him out, things that aren’t easily replicated. And it betrays the absurd effort some of these guys had to put in. And frankly, I don’t see that many super short guys partnered up.p

They were clearly related. So why is it bad for a woman to be confident, assertive and independent?

/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/23 09:31 PM

That people either think women get murdered more often than men (which isn’t close to true) or think it’s a bigger problem that like 20-30% of murder victims are women for what ever reason (it’s men doing the killing/they were in the wrong crowd so they deserve it), is actually a great example of how women are treated and seen better by society in America.

The survey I've seen on it shows more men are open to it than women, it was like 25% of men were open to dating a taller woman, while 4% of women are. Granted no doubt, the 4% of women are way way skewed to the tall end of the spectrum, and I suspect a lot of the guys would become uncomfortable if faced with the reality of this relationship. But a lot more seem to be open to it.

It’s irrelevant to whom. To me, creating new lives outside of a two person household is irresponsible and trying to have it all. If these people want kids, they should find someone first. I’m much more favorable to single people adopting since the child is already born. Actually the half loaf analogy works way better there. State custody for a child’s entire life is no loaf, one parent household is a half loaf.

Nothing more hyperbolic that saying it's all height and ugliness that causes male loneliness. Why do you think these ugly short genes exist in the gene pool anyways if they weren't being selected against for thousands of years?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 05:28 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 05:17 AM

I'm guessing you don't have any either? Your gonna have a much harder time showing that mental illness is increasing rather than reproductive failure being a matter of being ugly most of the time when most people end up having kids anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 05:15 AM
3

don't be crass. 90% of people that are lonely are because of mental issues that are caused by them not fitting into modern society and thats not genetic. Treating female selection as just our species trying to select for the tallest and sexiest people when short women have no problem reproducing doesn't make any sense. Or else we would all be 7'0 by now.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 05:11 AM
2

It's not even worth arguing with people trying to argue it's genetic selection because it's a position that is completely and entirely idiotic. Their argument for one completely rests upon some idea of women either not having bad genes ever, or them not counting because women are different and people with reproduce with them regardless. Which basically just makes women recessive carriers of all our species genetic rubbish if we go down this route.

The actual problem they probably face is not a lot of men want to date someone taller than them , and half of tall guys are going to go for shorter girls anyways. I would bet the number of people that want to have sex with a tall woman, even amongst “fetishists” is a lot more than the people willing to date a woman taller than them.

I don’t think Redditors autistically commenting “death by snu snu” on every pic of a tall woman is indicative of tall women being fetishized. Not that they aren’t ever fetishized, but I would not take the Morons on this site that seriously.

That’s what happens after you have kids. If you want to be a dedicated dad and husband and work full time, you might not have much time left to lift, but some manage it still no doubt. If you don’t want kids you will have as much time before to workout as when you were just dating

Let me try and defend women a little bit here. Thats still 3/4ths of men gone right there. Also the number of women willing to date someone shorter than them, is way skewed to the tall side. So I wouldn't be surprised if it was like less 1% of women below average were willing to date a man shorter than them, but for women on the taller side it will be significantly higher, especially as you go up. this is my observation at least
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/23 08:24 AM

To be fair, they do have lots of posts taking about how shorter men they’ve dated have been very uncomfortable with their height. I don’t think most men would certainly prefer dating someone taller than them

Look at the obesity rate for age brackets in America. I can only ever find state by state data, but it follows a general trend of it jumping dramatically in the 30’s and 40’s brackets In Wisconsin, 22% of 18-24 are obese but 35% of 25-34 are and 44% of 35-44 are.

What is happening is a major redpill principle playing out in action, namely 20/80 (10/90, 5/95, whatever it actually is in reality). While a bit provocative, it plays out in a way thats actually pretty boring. Online dating is really inherently shallow, because a profile tells basically nothing about what a person is like. So since women are going to filter out 95% of people no matter what, they are going to do it mostly by looks on dating apps. If you actually meet women in bars or cold approa…

There are a ton of Americans that as soon as they get a raise but a jet ski or an 80,000 dollar truck on a 10 year loan at 20% APR, or whatever other crap they want, then complain that they are living paycheck to paycheck
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/22 02:19 AM

Not really. A lot of the times, guys who are earning will just try to date the hottest person they can. What do you think about guys that don’t want their partners to have male friends?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/22 12:26 AM

Exactly. I’m thinking something of similar with female height too, but I believe most tall women have an understand that being 5’11 won’t make it easier to date someone who is like 6’5 even if they would want to.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/22 11:47 PM

No, because it’s not my job nor anyone else’s to try and chase down random and articles and studies to defend other peoples arguments. If you are going to make a claim, you should be bringing up sources yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/22 11:42 PM

While I strongly disagree that a woman’s career is irrelevant to her dating potential, I think a high paying career can’t be used as a way to date even higher earning men. If you are making over 6 figures (adjusted for cost of living of course) already, most guys making more probably don’t need to worry about how much their partner makes. That being said, having a high paying career puts you in proximity of other high paying people, but it doesn’t guarantee anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/22 11:32 PM

There are people who as I’ve gotten to know, have become physically attractive to me. Surprisingly so and to the point I genuinely feel that “desire” people talk about. /r/PurplePillDebate09/12/22 04:38 AM

Maybe this makes me different, but I think i'm unsympathetic to this and don't relate to the mental load comic at all, because I can always think of a few things that need to be done if anything does. Telling someone to do any of those things isn't remotely challenging. Ultimately if there is something to get done in a household there has to be some communication about who does what.

How can you say people shouldn’t ever lower their standards as if they are some completely sacred thing, and chastise men who have standards that you don’t like? What’s the point at all of attacking people for their standards? Secondly though, I don’t think “standards” to begin with are something that should never change. One can be excluding many highly eligible people with them and there is no guarantee someone will come along eventually.

I agree to an extent. As they say "it takes a village." That being said I want to address some things you bring up. So why would it be good for women to get attached to a man who is about to dip? This is a very real reproductive strategy both in nature and amongst people. But it ignores that one of the best ways a male/father can ensure success in spreading his genes is by being present for their children. Monogamy/pairbonding simplifies this a lot. Most women rely on other women to help raise t…

What natural order? There is no law that says a mammal species can't pair bond/breed monogamously, even if most of them don't, and for some it's the norm or only way they do it. And it doesn't mean that people humans when they pair bond are fighting a natural order. "Natural order" is itself a human concept and doesn't mean anything.

It's a logical fallacy to assume that because humans are mammals, they must reproduce like most of them do. Gibbons tend to mate for life, are they also violating their mammal nature by doing so? Consider the differences between humans and other mammals. Human infants for are extraordinarily needy and dependent on their parents compared to most other mammals. Newborn Giraffes can run keep up with their herd just hours after giving birth. Humans can't even walk until a year after birth. This is a…

Your theory implies there is a genetic basis for being overweight and even insecure, which is probably one of the dumbest things I have read on this subreddit. . I believe it’s something like only 1 out of 3 men in history ever had children. There are a lot of studies giving wildly different numbers on what percent of men actually reproduced. The fact is though, back in those times you were lucky if you even made it to adulthood, and didn't die in from warfare, injury, or illness in adulthood. F…

Monogamy isn’t the same thing as mating for life. Even in the cultures where people don’t traditionally pair bond for life, they almost always have some form of marriage where it’s just recognized it won’t last forever. And clearly humans do have the capacity to form pair bonds that will last for the rest of one’s life, even if other relationships came first. Most people seem to desire this at some point in their life. Non monogamy would he sexually (and in humans romantically) engaging with mul…

As an ex Mormon, that story seems really sus. Unless this is a weird offshoot cult, never heard of anyone being forced to marry someone like that and it certainly wouldn’t be to someone who was 29.

If employers were more willing to let employees (mothers and fathers alike) cut back hours to spend more time with their children, there would be a lot less marital resentment and more stable families. Too bad they don’t really care about us.

This isn’t exactly the same as the scenario you proposed. But On that show “what would you do?” They had a scenario where a teacher/tutor was flirting with an underaged student (they did this a few times) and women bystanders were always way more angry than male bystanders were. Some even admitted they wished could have been in that scenario as a kid! Again, not the same thing exactly, but a lot of men think the same way, and care about these power dynamics because at the end of the day because …

There aren’t withdrawls from ADHD medication because it doesn’t reach a saturation in your body like anti depressants do. Redding that post you linked, I am once again astonished at how people on the dating themed subreddits are able to parse apart a man’s vent post (it’s usually a man’s, though sometimes a post made by a woman get this treatment) and identify 20 different reasons why OP’s dating struggles are definitely OP’s fault, and tell him to “do better sweaty” or even insult him in the process. Fascinating that these people are real.

This is something I’ve said a few times though more to the aspect of of you wanted to be social you had to meet people IRL and couldn’t use the internet as a surrogate for this kind of connection. In fact the way society was meant you had to be somewhat socially inclined to survive. If you were lacking social skills you learned them through trial and error whether you wanted to give up or not.

And also, where is the precedent that every man should find a woman? Where is the evidence anywhere in all of the biological world that every man SHOULD mate or reproduce? Why are some women here so insistent on saying that humans are basically the same as every other animal/ mammal in the world, and that we should be following some natural order they made up in their head just to win an argument . Our closest relatives are primates, and yes they usually don’t pair bond it or mate for life, but …

In response to the guy talking about women vs men being afraid to walk alone at night, I just want to say that almost everything people subconsciously accept as truth about the likelihood of crime is backwards. Be it when it happens, who is the perpetrator and who is the victim is etc, people are just constantly wrong in their assumptions about these aspects of crime.

Meanwhile, none of these things are relevant in a woman's attractiveness. So what would be some examples of things that affect a woman's attractiveness that isn't just her appearance? Points 2 and 3 you listed for men, could make or break whether or not I want to date a woman, I got to say. Assets too sort of, but thats an extension of income/carrer.
