Unless you have a really big room, stick with the 65". Big TVs in small rooms looks weird. I have a 55" and that's more than big enough for me. With modern TVs the difference between top of the line and "pretty good" is negligible. Every TV today has incredible picture quality that we could only have dreamed of 10 years ago.

Late 2000s are a bit more than $10K. However you're in the ballpark. A 2001 Boxster S with under 100K miles can be had for under $10K. I always wanted an older Porsche and bought it at the right time. These have become the hot new thing in terms of collectible cars. Part of me wants to sell it and take the money.
