I tend to lurk this sub, mainly out of curiosity and the occasional fitness advice- since I'm gay, I don't really have a dog in the race. But I have to agree with you. "Withdraw!" Is an actual room temp low IQ take.

I'm gay dude. Getting laid is easy. And if altruism didn't exist I'll tell you right now that men giving their lives for others wouldn't be a thing. If anything your nihilism reveals that you Can't get laid. At least not by the person you've wanted. Unswallow the bitter pill.

Pretends? If you don't have any altruism in you you're probably a sociopath. Probably more unnerving if you truly believe that people are incapable of that.

There's only the illusion of limitless resources in Star Trek. In ToS Kirk exposes a man who euthanized his own people at a Federation outpost due to food shortages. Even the synthesized food and drink don't taste the same in TNG. Communism in space doesn't even really work in fiction haha.

I mean that's observably true. Single parent households are one of the most well studied predictors for kids having mental/social/behavioral issues.

Victim of trafficking? I get that it's a growing concern but is it statistically equivalent? Especially given the prevalance of under cared for vets when national defense is a societal need.

Sounds like you're living too much in your head bruh. I mean, your observations are true, but I doubt that the number is as colossal as you make it sound. Most people are well-adjusted just trying to get through life and pay bills. I understand the need to vent, but I'd highly recommend just ignoring people with victim complexes. They literally feed off of people's attention and emotions. Don't let them vampire your time. You've got more important stuff to do with your day.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
