In all honesty, the bulking/cutting cycle is a bodybuilding thing. If you're just training to get stronger & bigger eat at a slight surplus to your maintenance caloric intake. There's no way to get more lean muscle mass without some fat gain. Having a yolked look, in my opinion, is more masculine than being smaller, but with abs.
