This resonated with me as a quitting smoker and former punk band kid who wasted a lot of life following the scene and "doing what i loved" which was in all actuality "making no money" "staying immature" and "living in a pipe dream world." It was a fucking waste. I could have been learning business and getting myself financially prepared for a family and grown-up life, BUT NO. At 41, I've made a lot of changes and can take care of things, but I'm behind whereI could be. I hate so much now the tim…

I hadn't heard of that video set before. I read the wall of hyperbole text describing it- how valuable would it be to MRP?

Do you have a bathtub? Lead her in there, tell her to get in, lay back, shut up, and shave her yourself. Play with her clit. make it a good time.

Her point was we need to talk about the past in order to move forward. It takes time. blah blah I basically stated, "We have. When is enough, enough?" I said this exact same thing in a similar scenario this week; my wife kept harping on shit about a situation that I had already apologized for after she demanded it (I felt I actually owed it to her, I had lost frame. story is posted elsewhere here). I wasn't budging or engaging her and finally responded just as you did. That actually ended the bi…

No, my diabetes is genetic. The stress and trauma, if that's a root cause, is her. It's what drove me here to MRP. She has a chronic pain condition for the last 2 years that has made her into jekyll and hyde. edit: spelling.

I want to add my congrats here, too. You did pretty well and I might steal a couple of your lines. Unplugging and changing behavior in a few weeks is mentally difficult because the years of being beta builds a powerful mental cage that that induces great trepidation when you start to push out of it through behavior and remarks. Practice the smirk, the amused, the playful grin, and these will hide the fear you feel at the beginning when making alpha moves. You'll get better at these as you see th…

I don't mean if your church itself is big, but if it is linked in, or the leadership is, with a larger circle (like, Southern Baptist or a flavor of Presbyterian) lately these groups have begun clumping together in loose affiliations, conferences, and share thought-leadership. I've seen some very edgy and explicit marriage advice books and devotionals spread around among a wide variety of christian churches for women's groups and mens.

I'm an ex church-goer and if church/religion is an important part of your life as a marriage, I would bet it's a women's devotional book. They're getting LOTS edgier in some of the large non-denom circles.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
