I had all this and it turned out she had been sleeping with him for over a year. I don't really think an emotional affair exists, they just hide the sex. To me the emotional side was even worse than the physical. Trust your instincts, I was in denial about the "best friend" at work for so long.

Mine told the kids about her boyfriend before I knew. The older ones suspected for a long time but said they couldn't tell me in case they were wrong. It's fucked everyone up.

It depends if he wants more children. I definitely don't and have no regrets but I have 5. My soon to be ex got pregnant or I wouldn't have known about the cheating. I guess she will be trying to have a second family with this guy now. I'm happy with my children and definitely would not want more.

I had this she cheated and had a secret bf. She wanted to separate and asked me to file as I got legal aid as a full time dad. They broke up she changed her mind and she didn't want to separate and was sorry and loved me ect. We were going to cancel the divorce. I didn't know about the affair at that point and I was happy to have her back. Then she started sleeping with him again got pregnant and said it was my fault because she was upset I filled for divorce so she went out and got to drunk to …

That's why I said when they are adults and if they ask. She's been shit with me but they love her and she can be a great mum. I'm talking about when they are like 30 if they ever ask.

When mine are adults I'll tell them all about her cheating if they ask and want the truth.

She told me she had biopsies done and might have cancer and I nursed her through the bleeding and cleaned up the bath and sheets. Turns out it was really an abortion. Some people are just evil.

She told me she wanted to split up because I was unhappy with her spending yet another night in the pub leaving me with the kids. She said it was controlling behavior to be upset that she broke another promise to help and be present and in anger said she wanted to break up and went out for the night anyway. We tried to fix it but after repeated arguments and being absent went on a rant about me being insufferable and my very presence annoys her. I filled in the paperwork and she went out that ni…

She had thrown things at me and been aggressive but I know I'm so much stronger than her she could never physically threaten me. I remove myself from any situation that seems to be heading that way. At the moment we still live together. If she is in I'm out as much as possible.

My stbx said the same but she had a violent father. I sorted it out by sitting on the floor cross legged. I have ADHD and rarely sit down especially in arguments and understood eventually it's intimidating to be towering over her in arguments. There can be a lot of things that are not done on purpose that come across that way. We are to be divorced soon and arguments happen more than ever but I descilate keep my tone as calm as I can and sit down. I know I can be genuinely intimidating as a tall…

It's good to hear there is light at the end of the tunnel. 22 years and 5 kids and I still love her. Divorce is final in 2 months. I'm trying my best as a full time dad to be the rock the kids need.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
