Here is a feminist article that asserts telling men to be "persistent" in making advances is dangerous and wrong. I can't imagine what the alternative would be, other than telling them to not try or to give up easily.

Womens' employment (or lack of it) is a romantic non-issue for many men, especially if you consider history. Sexual interest is not a "utility" unless you consider sex to be a chore.

I'm fine with the topic in general, and incels are a necessary topic for this sub to cover. That said, the amount of incel threads has seriously gotten out of hand recently. I support this decision and I hope that at the end of a week we can find a way to discuss involuntary celibacy in moderation.

I could probably agree with this, given that the problems that affect incels are extremely difficult or impossible to overcome, and given that there isn't an equivalent class of female incels due to differences in behavior between genders.

Isn't that just a side-effect of pan/bisexuality? Except the majority of men with the fetish don't like men and claim to be straight. I can provide an academic source on this if you want. Like the vicious porn cycle. Sure, but there's got to be some motivation to get into that cycle and continue down it. There's plenty of basic dudes who started with lesbians and are still there.

Because men want sex more than women? Put simply, yes. I'm willing to find some studies that back this up but I'd need time to do so. Isn't your second point saying "Women typically pursue attractive men, but there are some exceptions if the man is really good at X"? I don't think most people would disagree with that.

It's true. Subcultures sometimes reject the accepted values of the SMP. However, this doesn't mean that members of subcultures have lower standards overall - it just means that they have much higher requirements with regards to social signalling. This is why unflattering guys can sometimes succeed in particular subcultures if they fit in well enough.

IMO even with social pressures eliminated men would still express themselves sexually far more than women. However, that's entering into a separate debate and I don't know if you want to go there. I can't speak to your second point. That sounds like a highly subjective thing.

That's debatable - some scientists have argued that a fetish for futanari^( ^^(chicks ^with ^dicks)^^) comes innately to many men. You could also argue that genetics influence whether or not fetishes develop at all. Some people stay vanilla their entire lives, while others develop kinks for everything you can imagine. Something has to be responsible for that difference.

I have, and while I wouldn't say "women's fantasies all hark back to getting dominated by attractive men", in my experience men make up the majority of the fetish community. That goes double for the more extreme fetishes.
