3	"Boys perform worse at school because they are constantly being told that girls are more intelligent" I've never heard of these stereotypes while going through school. Never actual heard it till I saw it one the internet one day to be honest. Of course, I'm not American so that could be it too. If a student isn't doing well in academics, it's not the gender.
