Bro not everyone is a fan of casual sex. It is not a matter of victimization or neuroticism. Some people just hold certain moral standards to a high degree and feel disgusted when it's broken. Just like for many women, sex is something sacred, men can feel that way too.

Despite monk mode being purposeful, the isolation still ignores certain important qualities that makes a person well rounded - like socialization. You can live a purposeful life while making time for family, friends, etc.
