In NYC? Yeah, maybe if you pay by the half hour and don't mind fleas.

What are resources you recommend with your scholarly background to check out for improving dating skills?

I had this happen once. You said you have lots of female friends? Try and steer him in their direction if any of them are single, while treating him super nice and just generally being a decent person. Turns out the guy in my situation was just gay and so far in the closet he couldn't see a door, and they really were best friends.

As someone who is pretty decent looking, but for most of his life had the conversational skills and confidence of your average aspie; looks count for fuck all. As long as you're above a 5, dress decently, and are of or above average height, you're set in the looks department. Use looks as a dump stat at that point and throw everything you can into charisma. You should however, hold yourself like Mr Handsome Guy.

You have to treat her as a friend until you realize she may be regretting her decision to stay just friends. What shifted between us was I just noticed a general deviation from their usual diction, body language, attitude, etc., and then invited them out to dinner on a very casual date. Things generally take off rather quickly from there, depending on how long you have been friended. I noticed a change, took a chance that the change had something to do with her regretting her decision to friend-…

All you have to do is make it clear that the friend zone isn't where you want to be forever. The "I'm not sure how I feel about you" speech is different from just "being friends" though. When you get friendzoned by a girl, just be the best damn friend ever. It's like you're saying "You wanna be friends? Okay, you asked for it..." and then you treat her mostly like one of the guys, the key being that you're not shy around other women around her AT ALL. Make moves on attractive women in front of h…

All hope is not lost if you get friend-zoned though. You can move from the friend zone to the relationship zone by simply making it seem more like you are putting her in the friend zone. Just treat her like one of the bros; hassle her, get mad at her when she fucks up, call her out on stuff occasionally, and most importantly of all flirt and/or try to pick up other women in front of her. But note you shouldn't do anything too overt if you come to find that she is particularly insecure (as a dece…

Typically on the rare occasion I outright compliment women and they do that thing where they shrug it off or especially when they neg themselves in order to get attention or whatever, I often give a rather aggressive "Shut the fuck up." or "Fuck you." I personally think it works as a rather bizarre form of not falling for their bullshit whilst still letting them know you think think they're beautiful and you know they know it too.

Need a costume? All you have is a nice dress shirt/pants/tie? Stick one of these on your breast pocket and BAM! instant Mormon costume. Also gives you a super easy opener: "Have you ladies thought about your Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ this evening?" take sip from beer/drag from cigarette EDIT: If anyone tries this, let me know how it goes.

Allow me to interject- If you're going to take classes to meet girls, do not take them at a community college. Hardly anyone there is eager to meet people, most people there want to take their classes and get the fuck out. It can be kind of discouraging if you aren't expecting it.

Alpha would do what alpha always does: give no fucks. Act like it never happened, and just treat her like a bro. If she's the one whose uncomfortable with the situation that's her own problem.

Incredibly. Also a great place to go if you pick up a vegetarian/vegan because they really only server 3 or 4 meat dishes, and the rest is vegan. It's very spice heavy and is sort of like Indian and Egyptian food had a baby.

I choose resturaunts that serve food that they've probably never had before ( i.e. there's a really good Ethiopian restaurant in my town, it's my go-to) It puts you completely in the driver's seat because they have no fucking clue what to order. It will take her way the fuck out of her comfort zone, without her feeling all that uncomfortable. Any negative anticipation is directed towards the food ("I'm not sure if I'm going to like this food") and not towards you ("I'm not sure if I'm going to l…

Gay bars, pride meetings, LGBT community centers and the like all probably exist in/near your area. Any of those are going to increase your odds of hitting on a fellow gay man. Alyernatively, ask those other guys in town, or just hook up with those guys or their friends!

Join clubs and see if that works. My CC didn't have clubs. Going to community college sucks when it comes to meeting people, as most people just want to get there, take their classes, and get the fuck out. I ended up doing this thing where I take a pack of cigarettes to the smoking section and bum them out to people to start conversations. I don't smoke really, I just light up a cigarette and let it burn (that's not to say I never smoke, but if you don't smoke at all it's something you can do). …
