2	This Was A Joke A Few Years Ago, Now It's Actually Happening: Girls Are Allowed To Join The Boy Scouts. My experience was different. I was in the program as a youth, and worked at a summer camp for several years. Family members were welcome, but frequently defaulted to a boys club. I'm glad to hear other troops were more inclusive. I did grow up in the south, so that likely had a lot to do with the difference.	/r/MensRights	04/05/18 12:08 AM

1	This Was A Joke A Few Years Ago, Now It's Actually Happening: Girls Are Allowed To Join The Boy Scouts. Troops will be either all boys or all girls. This is a good thing. This allows girls to access a great youth development program, and still allows for the camaraderie that grows from being with others like yourself. Plus, girls were already in the scouts via the Venturing, Explorer and Sea Scouts. This just changes the main program to be inclusive.
