"Socialized medicine" isn't "socialism" any more than having government run fire departments or roads. The free market can work for many things. But you can't exactly shop around for the best hospital to go to when you have an emergency.

That's not what tRP says at all. Most guys who get into tRP aren't upset about not being chad and having to give commitment. They are upset about having little success with women at all, even when they are more than willing to give commitment. It's not necessarily that average men can't get relationships, just that it's much more difficult than for women or Chad. And that they are much more likely to be cheated on or dumped when they do get into one. That's like the core principle of tRP, hyperg…

There was an episode of The Outer Limits where this happened. A virus killed all men on Earth. Society was reduced to a pre-industrial state. They somehow kept reproducing with frozen sperm. Then a man who was cyrogenically frozen was found by a small village of women. He immediately took charge and had them stand up for themselves against a rival village. Which was hoarding resources they desperately needed to survive. In the end the moral was supposed to be that men are aggressive and women ar…

This reminds me of an article I read once; Humans are not automatically strategic. why do many people go through long training programs “to make money” without spending a few hours doing salary comparisons ahead of time? Why do many who type for hours a day remain two-finger typists, without bothering with a typing tutor program?... ....we mostly just do things. We act from habit; we act from impulse or convenience when primed by the activities in front of us; we remember our goal and choose an …

If you are trying to find the absolute best mate in the entire city, then yes. Obviously that's impossible. I heard a mathematician explain a better strategy he called "satisficing". You spend the first 40% of your dating life just "observing". Then you choose the next partner who is at least as good as the best so far, to settle down with. He estimated that it would take about 12 relationships. Though obviously that depends on the individual.

You are assuming evolution is perfect. People have sex with condoms on, eat more than they actually need, etc, because evolution doesn't prepare for every possible scenario. It just selects for better general strategies, like getting horny for alpha males.

Oh, and avoid all sexually suggestive imagery. This is why I failed every time I've tried this in the past... It helps me a lot now that I've cut out TV, use adblock, and have stopped browsing reddit and youtube mindlessly.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
