English translation : southern Spain is like southern US. We…

Technology /sedentariness and the food industry going to shit have definitely made things worse. You'd see obese people in the 80s and 90s but nothing like now. And hardly ever in kids.

In that aspect of efficiency, I understand your point. Some Concepts in Spanish require more words than in English. However, your example is not a very good example as it is not a direct translation from one to the other. For instance, you open the front door in English but open the back door in Spanish. You took a stroll through the Garden in English but you just took a stroll in Spanish. You made the statement that you decided to take a stroll in Spanish, where the fact that you made the decis…

It's actually very efficient compared to English. To make the sounds in Spanish, you have to move your tongue/mouth a lot less than in English. Since the tongue movements are less extreme, you can transition between sounds a lot faster than English. That's why you often hear Spanish being spoken really fast, but you rarely hear English being spoken really fast. Unless you're the Micro Machines guy.

Yes, you do have to sign a privacy policy that states (for 23 and me for example): > We will not provide information to law enforcement or regulatory authorities unless required by law to comply with a valid court order, subpoena, or search warrant for genetic or Personal Information But let's look at what a warrant should consist of: > no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or …

While I'm all on board for putting these pieces of trash in jail, does no one else find it troubling that the government is able to subpoena searching the entire database for matches instead of subpoenaing the DNA of a single person? Seems like a big Court authorized fishing Expedition.

Sit in an emergency exit aisle. Put on your seat belt. Open emergency exit. Those little fuckers are light, so they're gonna fly past you pretty quickly. Make sure you move your head far enough back so you don't get hit in the face.

Criminal aliens account for about 20 to 25% of prison population. That includes both LEGAL and ILLEGAL aliens. Illegal aliens account for around 10%. You should learn what words mean

Well, what if we slightly change the circumstances and say she hocked it for 12.5k. Then the judgement would have been she owed him 12.5k so the show would have covered it and she'd have 12.5k in her pocket. Either way it was not hers, so how do they address it here?

So what happens in this case if the show covers the judgement? Since she physically lost the real property, does the show cut her a check to reimburse her the 12.5k value?

I race 6 and 9. I shuffle the wheel on turns though. Those old dudes keeping their hands on the same spot on the wheel during turns, like they're playing twister with their arms, just feels super awkward.

You seem to be confusing being Alpha with being a sociopath. We form emotional bonds with everyone in our lives. There are different levels, depending on if someone is an acquaintance, a friend, a fwb, or an LTR. It's how we function as humans. Caring for someone's well being is usually at the most basic levels, and can apply to strangers or even enemies.

She works as an exec. assistant for a very rich heiress in a mid size company You must have never worked in a large company. A low level secretary, yeah they'll go home on time. Her boss sounds like she's towards the top of the company, though. Those secretaries usually work their asses off.

Unfortunately, they will also be the men who go on to be policy makers and educators, so it will affect us all. They're the ones who made it so our kids can't play dodge ball or smear the queer at school anymore.

Basically, if you dress/look like every other guy in the club, you won't get noticed. He gave examples of having just come from a costume party wearing some kind of character costume as attracting attention from chicks.

I agree, ignore it via text. If she brings it up on the date, respond in a way that issues her a playful challenge. Girls love a challenge. Something like: "You're assuming I'd let you kiss me in the first place." "You're jumping the gun here, you haven't even earned a kiss from me yet." "Good! I didn't want to catch your cooties anyway!" And if your game is good: "By the end of the date, you're going to be fighting the urge NOT to kiss me." Then rub it in her face when she does. But if your gam…

Your brother is in the minority then. I work in and have friends in IT. Most places I"ve worked and jobs I've seen/applied for required a degree or equivalent experience. All you need are certs, experience, and good references to get into and move up in the IT world. And this is in the Bay Area, where there are probably more IT jobs than anywhere else.

There’s a reason for this. If you take a girl out and show her you’re more than some douche looking to just get in her pants, odds are, you’re going to get a second date He's right on. You may even get a third or fourth, or however many you're willing to pay for. Too bad you're not gonna get laid, though

I don't understand how you can say that women evolved to have menopause. The average age of menopause is 51. The average life expectancy of women didn't pass 50 until around 1900.

Around 40% of the US budget is Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid. These programs depend on tax income to pay retirees. The number of retirees is increasing, due to the baby boomers retiring. So the costs associated with these programs is going up. At the same time, birth rates are dropping, so income tax revenues will also be dropping, as there will be less people entering the workforce. Increasing costs coupled with decreasing revenue is a recipe for disaster. Economics 101

I feel your pain. I also suffer from resting bitch face. Though instead of a sad look, it's more serious/angry. I've been described by some girls as unapproachable. Smiling actually feels awkward to me unless it's in response to a joke or something. I need to take the advice here and practice smiling and keeping it on. Convert to a resting smile face.

Asking questions is a good way to get people to talk, but you have to ask more in depth questions to really get a conversation going. Simple questions like what and when get simple answers, and don't really keep a conversation flowing. Questions like how and why are more thought provoking, which lead to better conversations, and show interest. So does good eye contact! Also, you have to reply with relative information to the conversation. Life experiences are where you'll get your material for t…
