Take it day by day. Maybe he’s not at the point in his life where he wants to settle down with someone as successful as yourself. Maybe he’s intimidated by that, who knows. It doesn’t sound like he’s worth your time though. Take the rejection day by day and heal yourself. There’s someone who’s a better fit for you out there.

For me personally, there’s nothing wrong with either party multi dating. If there’s no agreed in commitment, then it’s free game. What I would have a problem with is dishonesty though.

This question is hard for me to answer. I’ve got male friends that I’m well acquainted with, two of which I’m very close to. But like r/kitty015 says, if I ever gave either of them the time of day, it would be on. So, on one hand, I can see why that would give you pause. But to me, the friend who truly draws the line and wouldn’t cross it, I don’t think it’s a big deal. But not everyone is like that!

I’d drop him. There’s no way someone is too busy to the point that they can’t reply for a week. How many times has it happened? I could see once, but no more than that. Because if he were really sorry, it wouldn’t happen a second time.

Wow, the audacity that he had to say that unprecedented! And honestly it doesn’t matter if it was precedented or not, he’s trash for saying it no matter what. But for it to come out of nowhere, shows what shit self esteem he had. I’m glad he’s your ex!

He just had a really trusting nature. That still sucks for him though!

What the hell?!! He needs to turn down that entitlement. Just because he put it on the bed he expects you to pack it? Who are you, his servant? Omg that statement would’ve made me go off on him. He is an adult and can pack his own shit, just saying!

I was with my ex fiancé for four years and he told me repeatedly throughout our relationship that I was too good for him and that I deserved better. I’m the kind of person that wants to grow with my partner though, so I didn’t leave. We finally broke up in 2015, and again, when we had our final conversation he again told me I was too good for him. So, from that time, I ALWAYS believe a guy when he says that. Consider it done as soon as they say that because anything beyond that is a waste of tim…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
