Try not to think of your past as shameful. You’ve not seen shameful yet. I know it seems so by your standards- but trust me. Learn the lessons you think are necessary and don’t be holier than thou. Be more confident of yourself! You haven’t limited your pool.

A lot of self confidence, I find, is about two things: one, fake it til you make it. you will never become self-confident if you never leave your comfort zone. force yourself to do things, and watch them become normal over time. two, be realistic about yourself. there are strengths inside you, amazing character traits. work them out, then work on them. keep lists if you must: what have I achieved today, this week, this month? You already have come a long hard way, so I assume just a realistic lo…

With something this drastic, that may be all you can do. Hang in there!

Have you asked him what he wants? Needs? Wishes for? Other than that, try and tell him that you're supportive of him and if he feels he needs anything, all he needs to do is ask. He might not be able to verbalise it, but he'll appreciate the offer.

NONONO you absolutely do not reach out to him any more. It's in his park now. You ran after him for long enough.

Yes, what I mean is that you should have communicated better earlier along. Now, I think, you're doing good.

I mean, typically it is agreed upon here that there are special roles for men and women, and they include some sort of feminine submission, but man, he's playing with you hard. red pill does not mean you get treated worse because he's the superior gender, it means that he leads and guides you to protect you, cherish you and enrich your life. You can't make him love you, and while both of you should work at your communication skills (from what I can read), he's not the one, I don't think.

I'm not sure I get how you come to this conclusion about girl's girls. Can you elaborate? Maybe I have a different understanding of the term

It's been a hot minute since I watched, but I never felt the show to be particularly feminist. If anything, especially in the beginning, I found her to be relatively damsel in distress-like. I don't know, however, how common flogging would have been back in the 1940s. Why not just watch a few more episodes and then decide? I abandoned sooner rather than later, but because I felt the writing in general was poor.

Don't know her, but I think the most likely motivator for this was not a quest for RPW, but most likely dollar bills were.

Usually, I'd be the first to argue that man's leadership is the right way, but this is a huge overreach for me. If he said, Babe, I don't feel good about you texting your exes - fine. Of course you shouldn't! But *anyone* from your home state other than family? And to forbid you to use social media? No. That's textbook toxic and you should not submit to it.

So on the one hand, you say that it's "further difficult if the parents are older and aren’t familiar with this modern dating culture" but the same older parents arranging a marriage is just fine to you, because...?

But as a parent, you can teach your kids all the red flags and all the behaviours to look for, and those to avoid, can't you? That would be all the social support they need. Lead by great example. Not by arranging things for them. I would call this overbearing, but hey, what am I to know.

I beg to differ. I think it is imperative to have your heart broken a few times to really know what you want. I'm in my mid-30s with a rather large social circle and I see *a lot* more functional and beautiful relationships with people who have suffered and learned from their past than people who just got with someone at 21 and stuck with them, for whatever reason.

True, but how likely are you going to say no to your parents at 18? I think finding the right person for you takes more than a few dates, unless you're one of the lucky ones.

While I support a return to more traditional forms of living and growing together, I think it must always be a choice by both partners. It's true that the dating market is very liberal and very toxic, but the chances of success of an arranged marriage are too slim, in my opinion anyway. What if your child develops a liberal, what will you do then?

You do not need to take his negativity. Why should you? His dominance should make you feel warm, loved and feminine. Not "I need to tolerate him and his whims". Sounds like all in all you need to rediscuss how you're sailing these waters.

Sounds like he has some demons around this that he needs to work through. What you could do is share those feelings with him the way you wrote them down here. Of course even as a submissive wife you deserve to have your needs met. Red pill/Submissive lifestyle should make both spouses happy, and if it doesn't, you need to talk about it. You should submit to him because you need, love and cherish his guidance and leadership. His decisions must not put you in jeopardy, unrest or discontent.

I don’t believe you will be able to overcome this- there’s a reason for it: your partner’s insecurity is at fault here, and there is absolutely nothing you can do to improve those. Only he can, and I don’t assume he does. He’s controlling you and it will not magically get better, instead it will get worse. Do you really want to do everything the way he wants?

There is a noted mental jump betwen "I am now 40 but I am attracting more attention than in my 20s and early 30s." and "So - because of my age I am deathly worried I will stay single or not attract high value men for the rest of my life." People do approach you because you radiate your glow-up. There's plenty of hope in your lines!

just make sure you come to an educated decision on what's best for you. you can't redpill to a man who does not value and cherish you for what you are.

Do you feel respect in your fundamental existence? Like… you write he watches racist shows when you're a POC and does away with your worries by saying "just laugh about it it's comedy". Perhaps also make a list what he does for you and what you do for him.

I've not had a rough childhood, but at some point, that did happen anyway. And I also think it's entirely normal (red pill or not, actually).

I wish you all the healing in the world. You've done great already, just keep those routines that will help you cope as opposed to silence your pain - just as you have been doing :)

You can always set your own boundaries with her. You don't need to listen to her. Right?

I'm afraid she has to come to that conclusion herself, over time. Much as you may want to, you cannot make her. There might be some deeper psychological issues lingering, which you will also not be able to solve. Perhaps you need to be accepting of her struggles and support her in getting better when she is ready. She might simply not want your advice, you might simply have to accept that.

A relationship where any of the partners is not valued, loved, and respected, is not a relationship worthy of the name. I say "any of the partners" on purpose, because neither of you seem committed to fixing it, and have trouble setting the right priorities. Once you consider cheating for any long amount of time, a relationship is just about over. No matter if one partners feels it's justified.

Adopted from a well known TV series: If you need to say you're rich, you aren't rich. You will see in the profile and/or the photos if someone is from money, and from what kind. Showing off is tacky at best.

Describe to yourself what your needs are, in writing. Where in your relationship do you feel seen? Complimented? Needed? Valued? Loved? And in which of his behaviours do you not? I don't mean that it's ultimately mathematical, but it always helps to write things down, so you can see things clearly. And do it before any proposals.

Do you feel valued, loved, and respected in your feminine sensibilities and needs? Sounds like he might be slacking off now that he's "made you his".

If you're not just baiting, which seems likely: That is not *a* toxic aspect. There are at least five in your post. Every paragraph in itself is a reason for you to run. You will not be able to adapt to this, and by all means neither should you. He's in whatever weird way, way too deep. What you describe is not red pill or masculinity.

Unfortunately, I only follow friends and news outlets on social media, I'm sorry!
/r/RedPillWomen28/12/24 08:33 AM

I think a Red Pill relationship should stem from mutual affection, just like any other. As long as the money is not the relationship glue, what could be better?

You’re not doing anything wrong. Dating culture is severely hypercharged and it’s not your fault. Sort your priorities (in life and in men) and the right person will find his path into your line and you will deserve it when he does. Use your feminine intuition to weed out those that want only your body.
