Apart from I didn't say anything about 'all men' and you haven't said that this girl did either. Instead you've made generalisations about 'modern women' not being self- critical enough even as you talk about dumping people after having sex with them without wondering whether you might to get to know these women better first yourself? Maybe don't 'give up' the sex so easily next time?

"Ah, this man used me for sex and discarded me afterwards. I'm the bad guy here. I wasn't worthy. I'm the problem". I mean I dunno dude I can't see a slightly more obvious villain in this situation

Well, you just go "I think you're attractive enough to fuck, maybe even more than once, but I don't deem you worthy of a relationship with me. Fancy it?" See what they say

17 a year! I'm currently single, 30sF and living in London and 17 sounds fucking exhausting already lol

Oh yeah I hadn't even factored in that bit of insanity but this too!

In a society where women get judged negatively and harshly for their "bodycounts" (i hate that word ) what Bernie does (pumping up hopes to get sex then dumping after, as you say) is worse because a man can make back the lost money but the woman can't unhave the sex. If women and men were judged equally on that then my answer might be different..

The age gap in this article isn't that big tbf - plus both the husband and the wife were already born into wealthy families so the vibe from this article is more about how lifes a bit easier if everyone has money rather than the 'benefits' of the age gap per se. Its quite well- written though - I like the almost sinister tone when she explains essentially that she feels restricted in how open she can be during disagreements with him because she knows he's paying the rent/mortgage.

In principle, yes. Although another key difference is that after a financial abortion there's still a living child at tbe end of the process who will grow up into a living adult. You'd need some sort of database to check details against so people don't accidentally sleep with their 'aborted' kids or something.

Yeah also who would we be cannon fodder for? Without men wouldn't a lot of the current wars pretty much just grind to a halt? Ps am certainly not advocating for the disappearance of any men btw, just trying to imagine how wars would continue if most of the army disappeared overnight...
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 06:52 PM

I'm sorry but your analogy is far too vague here - men and women have far more in common with each other than apples and steel beams in my opinion. Which one is preference and which is attrition?

What is worrying is when she fucked a lot of guys on date 1, but made you wait for 3 months. I get that there could be many reasons for this that do not equate to her having had more raw desire for the guy she fucked right away. I'm trying to imagine if the tables were turned here and if I, as a 37 yr old expected my similarly-aged partner to still fuck as though he was 19 lol. It's totally ok to want stability, even if you once had a 'party phase' earlier in your life. There's no way of measuri…

Ah so if an average guy gets with a 'mid' woman in some places that would be great, if mid is better than average. Or fine, if mid is about the same. So that's a 2/3 chance of it being an OK deal for everyone involved ;)

I thought average and 'mid' were the same thing? Why are framing average-looking people pairing up as a bad thing?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/24 05:35 PM

Hmmm tbh the benefits of pairing up are generally so obvious that I'm not sure why the onus is on women to understand it particularly over men? I mean I'm a single woman living alone in London, I could halve my living costs if I shacked up with someone for starters ;) If, as some commenters suggest here, one issue is essentially too many women sleeping with too few of the "top" men (resulting in their attraction 'standards' inflating) then wouldn't it make more sense to try and focus on getting …

Have ttouble doing what? Admitting they'd rather be single than in a relationship with someone they aren't really into? That doesn't ring that true, I thought part of the problem was that women are rather too comfortable with that proposition ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/24 08:54 AM

well, you've been pretty vague about the issues so its hard to say anything about that - some traumas take many years to deal with and could need professional help - if the women are younger there could be affordability issues with that maybe?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/24 08:48 AM

You say you're in your thirties and have had 'years' to fix your issues and traumas etc. So maybe that points to an answer- the women need time and life experience as well?

Yeah, just like when you said ">Instead she gets a lifestyle that she could never get and will never have any worry during her entire life." You can't be the arbiter of that either. Thats a belief you have because you can never know if she worries or not, you can't be inside her head. Everyone is subjective. Nice chat.

I guess you are the arbiter of what is right and wrong for two fully consenting adults to do in the privacy of their own relationship. There's no arbiter here, just people giving their opinions in a discussion forum.

So you targetted a more vulnerable person who was more likely to put up with a high control environment to avoid starvation. Very romantic. Fine. Sorry, I find the behaviour you've admitted to quite grotesque already so I won't engage further with you, only to reiterate my previous points you've ignored. Its wrong to expect someone to tolerate everything in a relationship with you that they did with previous partners when they were younger, no questions asked. Thats not how humans work. We grow …

So her best option is someone who, upon realising she is in a position of relative vulnerability compared to him (South America, no support network), hires someone to SPY on her and then insists that unlike other human beings she is never allowed to learn and grow from any previous negative relationship experiences, and that any crap she tolerated from a previous partner at say age 19 she has to accept again 'as a base requirement'. Wow. The bar is in hell and this guy's trying to limbo right un…

I said 'make a point of' not 'explicitly tell'. He can make these things obvious in many ways. And I'm a woman so I know what I fall for, thanks.

No, I agree with her - I'm not a fan of men who make a point of letting you know they could ditch you at any time because loads of other women could take your place. It makes me feel less secure and comfortable in the relationship, which then makes me feel I need to keep an eye out for other options as well. I'd go with number 2 (although I'm not a fan of pushovers or people who aren't motivated to improve their lives if they don't like their jobs, etc)

Its not in the modern sci fi realm of action/adventure, but i thought the women in 'Godless' on netflix were all pretty badass, and not in a 'i can fight ten guys at once' way. Loved that show.

35F over in London, hi everyone! 1. Occasionally in bars 2. Was in a very LTR from age 24-34 so basically I don't know if the number of swipes i get is good for my age or not as i wasn't using apps in my 20s. I imagine it would have been 'easier' when i was younger but its not that bad right now 3. Obviously not 4. More attractive than what/who? Me? Other men? Needs more clarification. I would certainly like a partner i'm attracted to though. That helps if one is considering sleeping with them..

"There was no nuance, no actual personhood when women were describing Red Pilled men" That's how RP men talk about women though. Doesn't feel great being on the receiving end does it?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
