What do you expect happens when you have sex? The whole purpose of sex is procreation and women can still get pregnant despite taking birth control. Of course if you consent to sex you consent to the possibility of pregnancy.

You are talking about how societal roles reflect a historical foundation rooted in observed gender differences. With traditional gender roles becoming more obsolete it is strange to say men compete and women compete as such when there is so much more nuance. There are men that are taking hormones to compete with biological women in sports. This is not just a few exceptions either. You live in a modern society with your smart phone and indoor plumbing and saying a woman holds a grudge and a man b…
/r/MensRights11/03/24 02:27 AM

That is not even a statement backed by statistics so no that would not make sense in the slightest to be a stereotype if we are assuming stereotypes are at least backed by data. Also there are so many other factors like culture and background that also contributes to how men and women act. I could say there are certainly men that do not fight with more ‘aggression’ For instance, there are men that label themselves feminists and women who do not.
/r/MensRights11/03/24 02:07 AM

Those literally aren't exceptions, people don't just all have the same collective behaviors because of their gender, that is asinine to believe. Just something you read from a stereotypical meme.

Don't know why you are being downvoted. They will say sexist shit and wonder why women aren't allies for MRA.
/r/MensRights11/03/24 01:41 AM

Haha I have seen men hold 20 year grudges and women become best friends so I think you are just merely using meme logic.

Not all abortions are performed this way and sometimes the woman has to pass the fetus, it can be extremely painful
/r/MensRights06/03/24 01:14 PM
6

That is absolutely not true, that is the problem with men speaking on these topics. I as a woman am not qualified to speak on the pain of getting a vasectomy. Also everyone has different pain thresholds but to say that abortion procedures are basically painless is just completely false. Also yes there can be complications.
/r/MensRights06/03/24 12:01 AM

Why is it disturbing. Women should have rights to an abortion so long as abortions are legalized. My problem is that feminists claim they want equality for the marginalized but completely overlook the unborn which are the most marginalized.

I’m sure I’ll get downvoted of course but I followed this case. He is the one that committed murder having autism is not an excuse for committing murder. I have autistic cousins that are very far on the spectrum and low-functioning, they still have a moral compass and would not commit a violent crime because it was suggested.

People hold weight differently. I have been told by multiple doctors/nurses after stepping on the scale that I look like I would weigh less by a substantial amount 10-20 pounds. At the end of the day it is just a number, the reality is that I can in fact shop in the petite section, and usually fit a small to medium.

My point is that you may find them more sexually desirable but that doesn’t mean they are going to be better relationship material. What about young girls that will falsely accuse you, or just straight up cheat on you

Not true, hate on fat women if you want. 129 5’3 and beautiful
/r/MensRights24/02/24 11:06 PM

This is so true, I think a big problem is fat women feel the need to make fun of short men due to their own insecurity. With that being said, obesity is definitely a problem in the U.S. but it is not just women. I do think there are more fat woman than fat men but there is just a lot of fat people in general.

Women do not age terribly, who told you that? Look at some of the most famous actresses dominating the lead roles and they are in their 50’s. My boyfriend’s mom is in her 60’s and is insanely beautiful, her husband aged like complete shit and has a boat load of health issues. Some women do age terribly, but also men do as well. You have been lied to by society and told that women in their early 20’s are more desirable when often times they would not make a better long-term partner due to their i…

You do realize not every woman can survive on a partner’s income, I am the sole bread winner and pay the living expenses for us both. That is ridiculous idealism. Also please do tell about these government programs? I don’t qualify for those, make too much money they say yet I can barely afford my bills. It is definitely more nuanced than you are claiming. Ridiculous posts like this one just caused more people to abandon this movement.

Maybe not but this seems over-exaggerated, I’ll get downvoted but I seriously do not know any women described like above. That seems like some immature high school shit and does not seem applicable in the real world. Not saying women don’t adhere to beauty standards but not to the extent where they shun people who don’t fit into a cookie cutter beauty standard.

It sounds like you were around some sorority girls. I don’t actually know women in the real world that act like this at all lol. I am friends with so many different women with very different appearances and styles. Maybe it is the people you were associating yourself with 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think that is a misrepresentation of women and that your experience doesn’t speak on behalf of women in general.

While it’s true it gets hot some places in the summer and shorts and a tank top are appropriate. In the winter though there is no way in hell that is practical, it is not about practicality rather sex appeal and attractiveness to men.

Umm a man could cheat and impregnate while a woman could cheat and never get pregnant. Immorality should be judged based on each individual circumstance, not the gender of the cheater..🤦🏻‍♀️ if you don’t get that I truly have no words for you and it has been a complete displeasure speaking to someone that judges the immorality of an action based on the genitals a person possesses.

How is that so when you can just say you identify as a woman?
/r/MensRights20/02/24 09:54 PM

Bullshit, don’t get into a monogamous relationship if you want multiple partners. You are basing your assumption off of history when it could be said modern women are wired for multiple partners and are not wired for monogamy due to the attention they receive on social media. A man has to go out of his way to cheat, a woman doesn’t even have to try, see how easy it is to just say a load of shit. You are inherently sexist judging an immoral act as more immoral based on one’s gender. If a man feel…
/r/MensRights20/02/24 09:10 PM
1

This is precisely why some women label men as misogynistic. Judging an action as more immoral based on gender is inherently sexist.
/r/MensRights20/02/24 09:04 PM
1

I won't engage in further discussions. If you justify a man’s infidelity as less immoral, I question your ethics and integrity, making further communication unnecessary. I do not care to speak to someone that rationalizes cheating as less immoral according to gender.
/r/MensRights20/02/24 09:02 PM

A woman cheating and causing a man to have to parent and support a child that is not biologically his is the exception and not the rule. Your anaology works in the opposite way you intend. If a strong woman is stronger than a weak man that is also the exception and not the rule as typically men are physically stronger. More often than not men are raising children that are biologically theirs not the opposite.
/r/MensRights20/02/24 08:59 PM
1

I didn’t say it wasn’t? It is more nuanced and that isn’t the only consequence of cheating.
/r/MensRights20/02/24 05:34 PM
1

While your analogy emphasizes physical strength and potential consequences of cheating, it oversimplifies the complexities of relationships and moral judgments. Strength is not synonymous with the impact of emotional or psychological harm caused by infidelity. The assessment of the severity of cheating involves diverse factors beyond physical attributes, such as trust, emotional connection, and the overall well-being of those involved. It's crucial to recognize that each case is unique, and gene…
/r/MensRights20/02/24 05:33 PM
1

That is a false equivalency, your argument of men being stronger isn’t even close. A woman stronger than a man is an anomaly. It is an equal chance that a man impregnates a woman while cheating as it is a woman getting pregnant while cheating. You really aren’t thinking logically. How is that an exception and not the rule?
/r/MensRights19/02/24 11:44 PM
1

Once again cheating doesn’t equal reproduction, and you do not get to rank betrayal and pain. Not every situation is equal. One man’a cheating can cause more pain and devastation that one woman’s cheating. What if the man impregnates the woman but the woman doesn’t get pregnant, in that particular example the consequences are worse when the man cheated, see how that works? Not every affair involves pregnancy with doubts of paternity. Also what if a man cheats and a woman commits suicide than tha…
/r/MensRights19/02/24 11:11 PM

That is a whole other issue and does not change the morality of cheating. Can you imagine the heart wrenching feeling of your husband impregnating another woman after carrying his kids?
/r/MensRights19/02/24 10:28 PM
1

First I thought you meant a man knowing the child is not his, if he believes it is his and is not aware of the cheating well then yeah no shit that could happen, I thought that was obvious. The thing is a woman could cheat and not get pregnant and a man can cheat and impregnate another woman outside of wedlock, my argument is that it is not less immoral for a man to break his vows and commit adultery than it is a woman, regardless of any reproduction argument. Cheating is cheating also cheating …
/r/MensRights19/02/24 06:15 PM
1

Cheating doesn’t have to be biological or produce offspring and men can still impregnate women outside of wedlock which can affect the wife and the financial burden. Yes paternity doubt can happen but that doesn’t make cheating more immoral for a woman. Men’s cheating is not less immoral, that is a garbage statement and it makes me sick. Stop rationalizing a man’s cheating you are absolutely wrong.
/r/MensRights19/02/24 06:12 PM

So you are saying if he signed the birth certificate and files for divorce, that does change things yes and it will also depend on the laws in the jurisdiction. That is a complicated matter but it has happened to women. A woman had to pay child support for her husband’s affair baby after his passing because it varies so much based on the laws. Either way this is not an issue of conception. People are pieces of shit and cheat everyday while having the common sense to not create an affair baby. Do…
/r/MensRights19/02/24 07:12 AM

Yes in a sense but women could also be the high earners and their resources may be used for a man’s affair baby nontheless.
/r/MensRights19/02/24 07:03 AM
-4

Men’s infertility? Do you mean men’s fetility lol? You can say whatever you want. Men are the one’s passing genetic code but I don’t really care about that. It is not about questioning of paternity., a cheating husband is fucking trash as is a cheating wife. Don’t enter a monogamous contract if you can’t keep it in your pants.
/r/MensRights19/02/24 07:02 AM
-1

It is about parentage, men donot have to sign the birth certificate. Yes a man may have to pay for an affair baby if he acts as the father and signs the birth certificate. This also is in no way exclusive to gender and can happen to women. Women earning more money could be the one’s paying for their partner’s affair baby. You are an actually scum bag if you rationalize a man’s cheating as less immoral.
/r/MensRights19/02/24 06:59 AM
0

That is based off of parentage not how the child is conceived so yes it can be an affair baby but the dad does not have to sign the birth certificate to agree to parentage.
/r/MensRights19/02/24 12:38 AM

Financial liability in divorce cases is determined by legal processes, and it’s not solely indicative of morality. Judging the morality of a person based on financial responsibility overlooks the complexity of relationships and the emotional aspects involved. Infidelity is a breach of trust that affects both genders, and moral judgments should consider the broader context of actions and consequences rather than focusing solely on financial obligations.
/r/MensRights18/02/24 11:05 PM
2

Not sure why you are getting downvoted as you are correct.
/r/MensRights18/02/24 11:00 PM

Infidelity is a breach of trust and commitment, regardless of gender. Labeling one gender’s infidelity as more immoral due to potential paternity issues and child support oversimplifies the complexity of relationships. Both men and women can cause emotional harm through cheating, and it’s more productive to address infidelity as a betrayal of trust rather than attributing morality based on gender-specific consequences. I must admit I find it a bit disgusting that men will rationalize cheating be…

While it’s true that some states and countries have laws holding men liable for child support even if the child is not biologically theirs, it doesn’t necessarily justify the moral aspect of such situations. The legal framework might vary, but the ethical debate remains about the fairness of imposing financial responsibility on a non-biological parent.
/r/MensRights18/02/24 10:54 PM
-4

This happens irrespective of gender but you are correct that someone may have to pay child support regardless of if the conception occurred because of an affair. Child support obligations are typically determined based on legal parentage rather than the circumstances of the child’s conception. If a man is legally recognized as the father, either through marriage or paternity acknowledgment, he may be required to pay child support even if the child was conceived during an affair. Legal parentage …

Paternity tests exist, allowing a man to bring a child into the world outside of marriage, leading to numerous complications. From a moral perspective, it's unjustifiable that many men in this discussion are attempting to rationalize a man's infidelity as less immoral. If you've made vows and opted for a monogamous relationship, immorality remains the same, irrespective of gender. Who gives a damn what genitals you possess?
/r/MensRights18/02/24 10:49 PM

Not a feminist, nice try. I am calling out blatant hypocrisy. Exactly as you did above with your fringe case: Men are not required to spend resources on a child that is not theirs. Moreover, men aren’t the only ones with resources; the woman could be the breadwinner, rendering your argument moot Cheating is fucking wrong regardless of your biological bullshit argument. Doesn’t matter if you possess a penis or a vagina, who cares what genitals you have! You are a scum bag if you entered a monogam…
/r/MensRights18/02/24 10:44 PM
-15

Nah it’s just a load of bullshit. His comment is based on some old assumption that the man is the bread winner. Either way using spousal income for an affair baby is morally wrong regardless of gender. The man does not have to pay support for. A child that is not his.
/r/MensRights18/02/24 09:01 PM
-8

Umm yeah because he is the only one that has resources? Why would have to pay for a kid that is not his, he would not be required to by law. I just seen an incident where a woman was paying for child support for her husband’s affair baby. He was using spousal income all that time to support the child so once he died she had to require to pay for the spawn that was a result of his cheating so you are definitely not correct.
/r/MensRights18/02/24 08:59 PM
-13

Bullshit , a cheating man passes genetic code and uses his seed to bring offspring in the first place. See how easy it is to say things? What if there is no issue of child rearing and it is simple sex, it is still just as morally wrong for a man as is a woman.

Thank you and I absolutely agree. I will still continue firmly believing women should be held to the same standards as men. Women need to be allies, we have husbands and sons we care about just as men have wive’s and daughter’s they care about, I appreciate your comment though and acknowledging that this does happen in the sub, of course it is not perfect but there are also many great arguments for men’s rights here

There is another one I can’t post as link as it was deleted but men were saying that the op shouldn’t accept his gf’s past because she was a hoe but they should smash and use her for sex because men using women for sex doesn’t make them male hoes but a woman having sexual experiences does. He doesn’t stray and I wouldn’t tolerate it if he did as we are in a monogamous relationship. In hook up culture there is no expectation of commitment. Men share other women, women share other men. Right? Women definitely don’t want to share a man and get diseases, that is delusional thinking.
/r/MensRights07/02/24 05:29 PM

Don’t know where you heard that but women do not like sharing men. Also there are women that find having multiple men appealing. /r/MensRights07/02/24 05:25 PM

What kind of people do you know that support women cheating? Men nor woman should cheat in a monogamous relationship. You don’t get to have your cake and eat it too. Have the benefits and security of a monogamous relationship while having an ‘insurance plan’

So if you are saying more women have the vaccine accessible wouldn’t that mean that they would be less likely to transmit it? This is a dumb post. STD’s are a risk to anyone performing oral, and that is why you should weight the cost benefits or stick to a monogamous relationship/routine testing. Where I live the hpv vaccine is most certainly available to boys and men.
/r/MensRights17/01/24 06:19 PM

But they are saying not to give a woman oral to protect oneself from hpv so there should not be an expectation for her to give blow jobs. If it is such a risk why not take oral off the table or be monogamous?

Yes I agree but I think part of the reason is because some do what is called pussy stunting and deceive straight hetero men. I don’t believe anyone should act on violence against them and that it should be safe for them to disclose.
/r/MensRights15/01/24 04:32 PM

Yeah in that regard there is a double standard.. I doubt we would see that type of petition for a women’s shelter.
/r/MensRights15/01/24 12:37 AM
-3

At first I did until I noticed that it said specifically because they don’t screen the residents and have had sex offenders.. I could understand not wanting that in a family residential area. My main issue is that they should keep that same energy if there is a women’s shelter that doesn’t screen residents next to a school as women can also be sex offenders and have mental health issues.
/r/MensRights14/01/24 11:57 PM
-5

It said that they do not have a system in place to screen the residents and have failed to stop sex offenders staying there when the location is right next to a school. It didn’t say all men are sex offenders but that it was an issue recently. Also, yes there are many homeless people that do have mental health issues. Walking through downtown Pittsburgh I see people high off their ass and screaming in the streets so I could see why they wouldn’t want that next to children.
/r/MensRights14/01/24 11:52 PM

As a woman I have to absolutely agree with you regarding women that don’t believe a ‘passing’ transgender woman does not need to disclose. It is absolutely rape by deception. They are trying to normalize transgenders as ‘real women’.

And it wouldn’t be if people in the sub stuck to factual and valuable information against men. There is so much argument for that, no need to try to say it happens to men more. We can just acknowledge it happens to men, and that it MATTERS when it happens to men.

You clearly should go back and read, I said male victims are important, just as women. We should take this issue seriously. This is why men lose female allies. I do care about men’s issues, more than anyone I know. As a woman that has been raped, molested as a child and sexually harassed as a grown woman.. I do not agree that this happens more to men by women than women by men.

No I do not believe that more sexual harrasment is carried out by women against men than men against women. Also it is factual that more women are raped by men than men raped by women. This is why this group loses what would have otherwise been female allies. Do not act as though something is worse for men when it is not. We should acknowledge all victims and acknowledge that men are victims too without pushing a false narrative.

Actually that is not true, I take issue with the incorrect assumption that more women sexually assault men which is not true. It is not my goal to “take over the conversation”

You’re doing the same thing men claim women do. What about the male victims, no one takes them seriously? And I do care about male victims, more than anyone I know. What OP said single-handedly states that women do not experience this as often as men based on his own anecdotal experience and then you get commenters sharing their experience to reinforce this ideal. I wouldn’t have said anything if he would have shared how men can be victims too and society doesn’t care about them as victims, not …

That’s the point it’s anecdotal and women are more likely to get raped so there’s that. We can acknowledge men’s issues without trying to gatekeep or one-up the other gender. Each gender has its own issues, and there are many issues men face but it is not true to say they are more likely to face sexual harrasment

This happens to women too though. When I was going for a pap, I was told to fully undress including bra and underwear and to be completely nude. I wasn’t given a gown and had to get naked while they open the door with people walking around the hall. I couldn’t believe they still didn’t provide me a gown while I’m sitting their fully nude, I had to ask for one. Also in a seperate experience, the male doctor doing my pap also touched (and looked) at my breasts which felt so wrong because I had nev…

There are people that get addicted to it though and I think that does have to affect natural intimacy. A lot of marriages have also suffered. I am also concerned with technology as well and seeing everyday women selling porn. It just feels wrong that your typical nurses and teachers also sell porn on the side. They should be professionals of their fields. I think it is nuanced though and there can be reasons to use it responsibly and in moderation, but maybe not if you have an addictive personal…

Thanks, I do see your point for lonely men, and I get that I really do. I have also seen cases on deadbedrooms of addictive behavior which I think can be problematic in a marriage. I guess it depends on the person and if they are overindulging or if they practice moderation, which I think is key for every indulgence (food and alcohol) Yeah I never understood that either. When women do it, it’s empowering and when men look at it it’s creepy and objectifying. I have no problem also admitting I thi…

Yes like all animals humans have biological instincts, we live as civilized beings though. That doesn’t mean sexual desire should be condemned. We are normalizing feminist buzz words like ‘objectifying’ to try to act as though it is wrong to have these feelings.

As a woman, I think men looking at women’s boobs and butt is totally normal and a part of evolutionary behavior. It can be explained by science. You are attracted to certain features because it makes your brain think that women is fertile and able to procreate. Now on the subject of porn, I think that is a totally different story. It is not so much that it is immoral but it is totally damaging and not healthy and studies show how it affects real intimacy. I have heard many men going porn free an…

That is not true, you are experiencing certain women. Many women do not agree with this logic.

It's not an accurate equivalency. Women do not compete in men’s leagues. I believe in men’s rights but not at the expense of women. Neither men should compete against women nor should a biological man be in a woman’s league. Why do you only care if it affects you by having a daughter?
/r/MensRights20/12/23 05:49 PM

No I don’t know anyone that has that expectation. Why should anyone have to settle if that is not what they want? I take no issue whatsoever with men not wanting to be with single moms. I think often times nothing good comes out of it. Even if you do get attached to the kid you also have no legal rights if she leaves you. That is really awful if people think it’s a single man’s responsibility to become a stepfather lol
/r/MensRights18/12/23 11:21 AM

Okay? I don’t want to be with a man that engages in homosexual acts? It is not sexist because I think men should be able to say the same regarding women. Is homosexual if I don’t want to be with a gay man too? No one is entitled to someone else’s sexual attraction.

And you are allowed that preference. I also don’t find bisexual men attractive. Why can’t we just have our preferences without someone getting offended? I do not need to be sexually attracted to anyone and it’s really no one’s business. Out of all men’s issues this one just does not seem like the hill we should die on.

I’m a woman and I will admit nowadays men are having to settle for some fat 3’s while women want them to be 8+ in appearance, 6 ft tall, financially advantaged while also expecting men to act as a provider and protector (stereotypical male gender roles). Then a lot of women that cut off sex immediately once they have a ring.. don’t believe me? Go check out dead bedrooms sub; this is becoming sooo common. It’s fine and I don’t mean to say that you claim you do, just pointing out that you might be an anomaly. I am with a man 7 years older but I don’t really consider that as being with an older man as he is still only 36. So yes what you are attracted to is quite a big age gap in my opinion but I still don’t consider that age range as ‘old’ maybe just old too someone as young as you at 19.
/r/MensRights20/11/23 10:52 PM
1

Actually don’t put words in my mouth and learn how to read I said, “I believe age isn’t synonymous”, I did not mention you at all. Also didn’t say you said that you represented all women, again learn to read. ‘Older’ is subjective so why don’t you define what your idea of older is?
/r/MensRights20/11/23 10:44 PM

I believe age isn’t synonymous with unattractiveness. There are definitely attractive older people, both men and women, that goes without saying. A lot of younger men would love to get with say Scarlett Johansson. With that being said you don’t represent all women and a lot of women prefer a man within a 10-year age range.
/r/MensRights20/11/23 10:41 PM

TLDR.. it is a comparison of the same logic, yes it is indeed higher frequency of testing but it is all based on the notion of not trusting partners. Women may lie about paternity but guess what men also cheat. If you seriously think your partner has sex outside of the marriage you should really reevaluate your choices of who you pro-create with. That is a very serious thing. To question the paternity you are questioning her loyalty
/r/MensRights20/11/23 09:14 PM

Actually you need to learn reading comprehension.. I didn’t say a woman would be having birth at 45 you moron.. she can still be a mother to her children. Also, it appears you need to learn biology because it is still historically possible for a woman to give birth at 45.
/r/MensRights20/11/23 09:11 PM

Not saying it doesn’t happen but I still don’t think that is exclusive to women. If you really think women want to bone older men out of desire then you will have a rude awakening as well 🤷🏻‍♀️

A lot of the extremists are actually turning away what otherwise could be female allies that support the movement. There are actual women haters in this sub. I as a woman believe we should hold women accountable to the same standard that men are. The same can be said of men. Women typically only look for older men that have wealth and can give them financial stability otherwise they mostly date men a few years olde or even the same age range.
/r/MensRights20/11/23 05:26 PM

Sexiest and actually not true as older women just hook up with younger men with higher sex drives. Women get higher sex drives as they age, and most are certainly able to get as many young men as they want

No one asked for your explanation of consent. Where did you read that I thought there would be a violation of consent? I never said that.. and that is not even what I am describing.. Also, yes cool glad you understand consent 👍🏼 With that being said, a man can very well do as mentioned and be in compliance with the requirements of her consenting to sex while still believing it is causing issues within the marriage, we would probably find him posting in /deadbedrooms. It is so ironic that you stated I should learn the difference of what you typed when you completely misinterpreted what I typed. Now you are actually imagining things as I never said that you stated what I said, but it would be hypocritical if you disagreed as what I am stating is the parallel of the logic you used. First, I don’t think women are more valuable than men. Saying they lose value as they age while not thinking men do is extremely sexist. A woman should have more value than being a breeder. If the woman is 45 or whatever she still can be a mother and bring value to her family. Everyone ages anyway, getting to age in itself is a privledge as that is more life to live and experiences to have. I think this notion is ridiculous.

Couldn’t agree more. If you do challenge any claims or point out hypocrisy you are just downvoted (not that I even care about that). What is sad is that these extremists are losing what otherwise could be female allies. It is so strange that I can be insulted in this sub yet I am constantly pointing out double standards and how there is an expectation for female equality while females no longer conform to traditional gender roles while expecting men to by being the protectors and providers.

Sharing your location is not controlling behavior. I would not force my partner to share his if he doesn’t want to but again he has nothing to hide and especially with taking our 2 dogs it makes it easier. Also we both work from home with the exception of my 1-2 days a week in office, location aside it is not difficult to know where each other is at. I speak on my experience of being in a successful relationship. Unlike you, I won’t speak on your circumstances. I will say that finding a man is not an issue for me. By your own logic, women that are married should be able to require to only have sex with their husbands while demanding he wears a condom. That gives them security to not get an STD, despite the fact that the relationship is monogamous. That gives them protection and full certainty that they are not at risk, prove me wrong.

So what she wasn’t single after 40… she was married up until she was 50 and divorced. She now is single by choice and that probably works out well for her as she can focus on her career and still get a man if she wants to. It’s not like she is single because no man wants to date her due to her age. Also since you think women lose their value as they age the same can be said of men. Women only typically seek older men that have wealth.

Why does it have to women in your example? Men can also be ‘financially absused’ in these modern times. I would call that a false equivalency. I think men can also be emotionally and physically abused as well and should of course have a contingency to get out. It is up to them to decide if they want a separate bank account, don’t have much opinion on that. A lot will have combined for marital bills and then seperate for leftover funds, that is probably best for protection of men and women alike,…

A trusting and transparent relationship as in being faithful? In order for there to be suspicion of paternity there would have to be cheating on my part. I will not entertained being accused of cheating when I have been nothing but faithful not giving suspicion of so. Also, How is the man being transparent in this scenario? Getting a paternity test doesn’t make the man transparent. So you think married men should still get a paternity test? Even men that know where the wife goes at all times? Th…

In order for there to be a suspicion of paternity fraud a man would have to potentially impregnate a woman he doesn’t trust to be faithful in the first place, that is the main issue. A baby is usually a risk of sex so I can’t understand bumping uglies with people you don’t know or just don’t trust that goes for men and women, not just the men. Or maybe it just doesn’t seem healthy. I want to be in a balanced relationship that is built on complete trust and transparency. Yeah right.. Maybe she wants a shared account to ensure he is actually paying for shared living expenses. I am the bread winner and the only one working in my relationship. It is incredibly stressful. I would also want a combined account where both parties put their half in for bills and then each have separate accounts to spend their money how they see fit.

so you admit she wasn’t just aimlessly bringing up your bank account. In fact, you initiated this conversation by saying you would never combine bank accounts with a woman. Maybe she was concerned about the future.. Maybe she wants to be in a relationship with a shared account. You dismissing her concerns and making her feel crazy for feeling the way she does is in fact gaslighting. Her unwillingness to communicate as an adult was also immature.
