It’s less important to some when there’s other more valuable qualities mixed in, or the illusion of some. Like not being a pushover, being ambitious, physical attraction, illusion of competence and confidence. The halo effect even at times. Many people will overlook terrible traits when someone is THAT attractive. Not everyone of course but it happens enough to where we can all observe.

I would take guy B. Im tired of being surrounded by incompetence. I’d trade my looks— which is inevitable as looks fade. But my influence on outcomes won’t.

I would like to say, that there’s a happy ending to this. I’d later go on to meet my soul mate essentially. Things are good. I appreciate you. Wishing all the lads love and support.

A good 70% My closest friends are girls. Although they are a specific type of girl. The intellectual types, they are attractive and would probably be considered to above average. (I say probably because I don’t look at them that way) they are like sisters to me. And they’d destroy most guys in debates. They are very bright individuals that I can turn to with even the most controversial of topics. Yet somehow they are very open and non judgmental. I don’t let sex determine whether or not I’m able…

I’m 22 and I’ve only had 2 girl friends. Mostly because i don’t really let hormones cloud my judgment. I was born from a single mom of 4 kids and some of my siblings are single parents. Trying to at least break the cycle so I don’t hang with people I couldn’t see myself being with for the long run.

Yes , I don’t really see them as leftist. They are so far “left” that i can not reasonably justify calling myself left leaning.

I’m a moderate / somewhat centrist person but I tend to avoid far left leaning women like the plague. It’s for my own safety really.

It happens to me all the time. I’m some 6ft lanky mf. And all the time I have different girls do things that would be considered creepy if they were a guy. Like— waiting at my work and then finding me on social media , drunk texting me hoping I’m down to f and then begging that she will be sad if I’m not attracted to fat women. Another occasion was this one girl recently who said because of our zodiac signs we must be soul mates. She also mentioned she had a boyfriend in the military a few convo…

Long story short I model sometimes so I’d take photo shoots and occasionally I’d be having a conversation about angles and poses. That used to end up being a segment into you know — some kinda pseudo talking stage. I’m not prudent , but I’d let it be known that I’m looking for a special someone (found her btw) and I guess for brief moments here and there they’d get the confidence to go the extra mile with trying to be photogenic. That’s the best way I can describe it. None of the women were from…

You’re not breaking anything to me, no worries. I’ve turned down people for that same reason. Trust- I’m with someone who’s just like me in that regard. I’m not one to treat relationships like commodities. Where people are this pseudo monogamous “one person at a time” thing. If I do, it would become a slippery slope to me becoming a Fboi.

I don’t download dating apps because I don’t expect to find someone who has the qualities of being a wife. If anything - I expect dating apps to be full of women who have a backup plan collection like they are trading cards. Doesn’t bother me any, I just know they aren’t the kind of people I would work hard to meet.

This implies every guy is focused on sex. I’ve been saving myself for marriage— It’s not like countless girls haven’t offered and sent nudes etc. but I’m not rushing to spend my resources and time building a relationship that doesn’t lead to marriage. If anything I see that as someone much stronger than a lot of these whipped guys who don’t shut up about it.

I have zero attraction for the 3. And I have dignity so I won’t do the nasty with someone I’d rather put a paper bag over. But the “10” wouldn’t be any better. If she’s not interested who’s to say she won’t turn around and claim that it was grape? Neither. But if I was forced to I’d pick the 10, because the 3 would just be embarrassing for the both of us.

People indirectly say what they are attracted to. Why? Simple: People are punished for not being attracted to others. They become silent about it, and when pressed— come up with rationalizations as to why. Health is not the only reason, but because it’s such a strong indicator in general: it’s easy to say “I want someone who works out” because In most cases they won’t be obese. Not always of course (for an obese person who just started working out) It’s like the women who say they want an ambiti…

That’s my reasoning. I prefer being around the same size as my partner. I’m tall and slim , and I have a preference for tall and slim women. Although I don’t really care all that much about height. The other reason at best for me would be a partial reason behind it. My bmi is 19 so being with some with a bmi of 30 regardless of how the fat and muscle lands just doesn’t do it for me. I’d rather be alone.

Stuff like this is why I’ll have a hard cutoff age for getting married.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/23 05:52 PM

The most shaming I’ve faced was not chasing overweight women. You’re probably going to assume “oh it’s because you were being vocal and rude about it” but no, I simply minded my own business. Also the amount of girls I’ve faced that have the audacity to assume you’re gay for not being into them. Imagine having such an ego to think you can get every guy. Ofc not all women are like this, just wanted to give some legitimate examples of shaming I’ve faced.

This “passport bro” talk just as any other discussion has fallen into being considered a monolith. Funny anecdote though. I wouldn’t consider myself a passport bro— coincidentally all of my best relationships were with non American women. And no— not limited to third world countries.

I mean… there seems to be a lot of animosity towards me being a “traitor “ to The bLaCK community often times. Some Have even tried to use it as an insult, akin to a defense mechanism. “I bet you date white girls” “you are not black because of xyz” But I don’t care, as I don’t make the color of my skin my personality and will simply strive to be in The best relationships regardless of race.

Actually this kinda points out part of why all of my relationships have been with women from other countries. Not country specific or anything for example: Russia, china, South Africa , Lebanon, turkey. I didn’t mind “missing out” on the women near me given a lot of them were almost twice my size at one point back when I was in the fattest state. It helped me develop a habit to avoiding playing those stupid hookup games. And now the habit has stuck regardless of whether or not I’m attracted to a…

The perfect example off the top of my head was this girl I went to high school with. She was cute but we didn’t pay each other any mind, this was before I had a glow up after high school and was uh more reserved with a lower self esteem. After high school we both worked at a job- me her and her babies father (we were all in the same graduating class). Me and the guy were sortof cool with each other but they would always be together without my knowledge because again, I mind my own business. Well…

Many of them had experiences first hand or second hand that ran contrary to the whole “women are sugar spice and everything nice” narrative and did a complete 180. I’m a guy who lands on the above average in looks /tall category after glowing up over the years, but due to having clinical depression, I kind of find most dating to be akin to entering a crucible. It’s very unforgiving if you are having any mental struggles/ suicidal etc. I won’t project the horror stories I’ve faced from a few women, but what I will say is : if I were to be open and honest about the way I feel— to no fail I would be quickly vilified. Although I’d consider myself lucky. I actu…

I’ve grown to know this of the countless times women have found me attractive to them, despite this Regardless of how well off I am. Having a history of depression really ruins it for me. /r/PurplePillDebate03/06/23 11:45 AM

I’m pretty sure the reason a lot of men are being drawn to people like Tate are the increasing “standards” from those hypocritical Miami girls that are plastered all over the internet. A lot of guys aren’t connecting as much and so they are left being constantly exposed to the the worst of the worst in women. Couple that in with the lived experience with a lot of average guys and you get an unfortunate concoction of disillusioned men. They see paying for dates and such as a low return of investm…

I’m only translating what they were doing not how they were actually doing it. For example: when I payed cash instead of financing because I didn’t intend to haggle something at this one place. One of the coworker sales ladies starts going on about how she knows the area really well and wants to “bless me” after prying about my relationship status. Another case was the girl who’d flirt off and on with me and then sent that request. Mind you, none of these women are my type so I decline all of th…

-Sending money order/cash app request thinking you’ll be like the previous guy who’d be willing to spoil her for a chance. -Asking when you’ll take them out. -Questioning what you’d do for your partner for events like Valentine’s Day etc. Just a few examples that I used to commonly experience. That first one was particularly annoying because “is that all you think of me? A wallet”
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 09:50 PM

You’re asking a question directed towards some perceived “blue pilled” group about something you claim to be “red pilled” using “black pilled” ideology/ lookism. Not that I’m advocating for this “red-pilled” movement because the ship has already sailed and is no better than those feminazi movements that it so desperately bashes. Honestly do you even know what you’re going on about? This question is straight up cringe. At this point it’s not even worth giving a clear answer, because what you’re r…

Maybe I’m an anecdote here but the difference in sex drive isn’t my biggest concern, it’s the economics surrounding dating. Now I’d like to preface that I’m taken and that I date with the intentions of marriage. 0 body count on both parties etc. But I’m purple pilled because I can not recommend other men to do the same. Financially there are more pressing matters than partaking in what’s essentially becoming a betting game. Even if the guys who are in a drought ended up with the so called abunda…

You’re focused solely on dating here, whereas that’s only a spec of dust compared to other looming implications. You speak with contempt for the men that are falling behind, but it isn’t just men but also little boys that are failing. But even more important: all of the goods and services you’ve grown so comfortable with are likely to be in jeopardy without that prime labor force of working aged men. I have met many girls who are what you’ve described. They aren’t my type lol. I’m with someone who’s genuinely authentic and unique to herself. Gorgeous and just so happy and silly. Which is and has for the most part always been the case, the troubling part that is being left out is that in the United States at the moment: prime age working men (25-54) have seen a significant decline in labor force participation.

I get your sentiment but respectfully— from my pov: the only reason these men are being mentioned is because it’s going to start exponentially affecting women. (Our cultures primary focus on accommodating women) If that weren’t the case they’d simply never get mentioned tbh.

”The iron rule of politics is that if there are real problems in society and responsible parties don’t deal with them, the irresponsible parties will jump on them.” -Daniel Schwammenthal, director, American Jewish Committee (tai). Seems the many “left-wing” sides have made it a point to present masculinity as a bad thing, vilifying men and causing them to suffer in silence. As a result you now have right wing sides trying to use that as a bargaining tool to get men to do things the “right way” p…

I’m glad someone’s actually mentioned this about women in the past. Oddly enough.. the tables perhaps could end up turning. In the past women were cast aside, not exactly taken seriously. As a result they were extremely underrepresented in the mental health spaces / most psychologists were male catered to masculinity. Today, the tables haven’t just turned, it has completely flipped.

As well as a few incompatibilities on what values we share which plays into the standards ofc. I legitimately mean it when I say if she goes for rappers and drug dealers. I’ll be the first to admit the culture I came from isn’t conducive of making stable families. Raised by a single mother and I’m surrounded by baby mamas who get passed around by lowlifes. This entire time you’ve sat here holding me with agency whilst holding women with some form of moral patiency because have your mind made that regardless of whether or not you’re being used. Being used for sex is “worse” than being used as a walking wallet. Which is fair to each it’s own. I just said that from the beginning and I have done that. I’m already with someone who’s on the same path as me. And I’ve said not generalizing women. But my original point still stands. Why does it matter: let’s say you try searching for someone who you’d marry and they proceed to “make you wait” while they sleep around with other people free of charge etc. And because I know I won’t find it— it goes back to my original point: why bother offering if there’s a guaranteed chance of people doing what you’ve described. I’d rather just take my guy friends out if that means they will at least play along. There’s definitely a cultural clash here. I don’t ask these women out, but I’m surrounded by them in the places i frequent.

And so the cycle continues. Harder to go around offering when many who have said yes could just use me for a free meal Ticket. -and yes I am young. 22

You do realize that I’m not trying to date just for sex right? / not every guy just wants sex. I’m actually saving myself for marriage. So I tend to only offer to people who seem as though they could be good company. No intentions of sex. Oh and the girls in particular tend to be the ones that advance with me sexually by trying to send pictures etc.

Why do you think I do not offer? It’s going to be impossible to gaslight me into assuming that when they have been the ones asking me for food. I’m not generalizing women or anything. But I have quite literally ran into some very terrible women. Just recently a girl tried to cheat on her boyfriend with me and when I found out by accidentally running into the guy, she proceeded to give us both the cold shoulder. The entire time she still very much so had plans for me to pay for the event she was …

I literally haven’t asked anyone out on dates as I’ve had a 100% success rate of women accepting just to use me as a meal ticket.

I don’t know why I’m here. I am convinced I’ve met my soul mate. (Yes I know crazy right?), but believe me I’ve had my share of terrible experiences with dealing with both sexes (I’m straight, a guy that just gets hit on by guys a lot) I am genuinely in love with my partner. But yeah I’ll try to keep my dynamic a bit private.

I’m a guy and I gotta say bingo here. Some would consider me fairly attractive , especially gay men so I get hit on and gay men sometimes try to befriend and get close to me, some even being pushy. Despite all this Id probably consider myself voluntarily celibate and do not see myself faking a personality for women. There’s this running gag about the guys around me playing up a particular personality just to get some and I could never do that. I know this because I’ve declined the opportunities …

Ouch lol. Did I do something wrong?

TL:DR that would be a win for me— I’d rather be successful and alone actually, as long as I know I can attract the type of prospects I’d go for im good. -no debt. -not children out of wedlock. -no child support -healthy and attractive (always takes work) -I get to do what I’ve always wanted to do within reason If what you set out to achieve does not align with your desires and expectations you failed. Simple. You can choose to try something else even if things aren’t the same /more difficult etc…

Before I say anything I’d like to preface that I haven’t given up entirely— I just see a lot of girls on the day to day as not worth the effort. I still have amazing girls who are in my circle (not trying to sound like a fuckboy) I get the attention of a good bit of girls. Like more than all of my male peers but I don’t act on them. Partly Because I’m not driven solely by sex but even more so because I’m Better off just focusing on my education and wellbeing . The girls seem to be chill with sup…

I think a lot of it has to do with Competence (multiplied/divided by looks) Some of the “douchebags” younger girls go for often times appear to be on top of some hierarchy. Think of the hood dude with the hellcat charger or whatever— the other guys in the area want to be him so he gets preselected. The typical jocks and athletes— same thing. It’s just that perceived competence isn’t always a good thing. Nice “pushovers” or less confident types get put lower on the list— and looks do play a role.…

Become the man that other men look up to and other women want. Competence goes a long way.

Ah yes, they would definitely breed a certain kind of user to those echo chambers. It gets even worse with the black pilled spaces.

There are also some who have never heard of it but would be your typical player with a few “red pilled” ideologies. You don’t have to take my word for it— I only found this space after a girl false accused me of something for rejecting her in high school. Destroyed my perception of girls being all sugar, spice and everything nice. I would say I was learning towards this before given i was also so curious about the established norms on dating and the double standards. My concerns were mostly abou…

I can get a bunch of girls to accept dates and send nudes but I don’t really see dating as worth the effort. I also was in a slow paced relationship for 3 years and never did anything with my ex. That was between the age of 17-19. I went to do something at age 20 and was too busy to date— I did be open to accepting dates but of the one I went on the girl turned out to be sketchy. (Fast forward to 2022 and she’s a stripper actually) At the moment there’s a few girls interested in me and I’m think…

I mean if I had the clock against me to find someone to have my kids I’d be picky too. I think the issue comes in when said women are unable to match their own expectations. The whole “I’m perfect, I don’t have to do any work, I am the table” mess.

I wonder how these “advantages” hold up when they are paired up with their respective cons.

I am the 3rd of 4 children to a mother that had me at 22. Somehow I have a stepdad and I can’t wrap my head around it. Also it seems the apple didn’t fall far as my older sister is also now a single mother at that same age. I’m probably just going to get a vasectomy or something.

Funny. Not a thug but I do have dreadlocks. I get told I could look like a fboy but when I speak. I’m told “why do you sound so proper”
