The communicate your needs portion really struck home. Time and time again I communicated to my ex that there’s actually two people in this relationship. That I don’t mind being the support, the stable one, the provider 80-90% of the time because that’s what men do. But to never get anything in return? To never get any support? Thanks for in the depth response. I’ve never been married, but recently separated from a 5 year relationship with an incredibly unstable, gas lighting woman.
