I had this a long time ago, her family need to help her now. They need to support her, they need to find her the help she needs. take the kids, look after them if she needs serious care, let them see there mother as much as possible if safe to do so. All you can do be understanding, talk to her family/friends if that option is still open. They will help with the children as well, especially in terms of logistics, picking up and dropping off etc as she may find it difficult to recover if she keep…

It's been 8 months now and its still tough. Thank fully have good freinds and family near by, all happily married with families of there own, so not always available. Ive been sick this week and stuck indoors on my own, had to speak to her about the house sale, spoke for an hour about our families and stuff a…

In London as well, you can get a cheap consultancy session for about 150/200 suggest you do fast, get the house valued ASAP so you know what you need for moving on, once filed you will need to complete a FORM E document, this will detail out all your assets, accounts, life insurance, debts, interests in property etc etc. It's a shit document. Takes weeks to fill in. You will need mortgage redemption statements, bank statements, pensions plans, wage slips, p60s, life insurance docs, loans stateme…

You just have to fill your life up with other stuff, it takes a little time. I bought a home that needed renovating. Joined a band, bit of music production, mountain biked, see freinds, dated. Soon enough life was busy. I had my kids every other weekend and see them every Wednesday eve, took them cinema, swimming, bowling etc. Took them on camping holidays as well, they were cheap, kids loved it. Biggest issue was having enough money to do the things I wanted, so eventually rented a spare room, …

Definitely agree, work on your marriage, focus on the positive things about your wife and be greatful and thankful of those things no matter how small. Might be very difficult to see those at the mo, but if you really look you might find them, let her know as well. Look at your own behaviours that could damage your marriage rather than hers, see where you can improve. Again that'll be difficult. There's are plenty of quality books on marriage out there to help get you started. A few cheap books,…

OK you can't stand eachother, why is that? What's changed? Is that really the case if you dig into the positives of your marriage rather than the negatives? there may be no positives at all. But seriously think of the things you are greatfull for and appreciate about your wife, homelife etc, really think about it, write it out. Whatever, just find something, if you dig deep enough I'm sure you'll find something. Think about the person you were the day you married, are you that same person. Can y…

I'm six months in. The shock is brutal, so totally get it. Wife walked, seen her twice in six months, going through divorce/sale of house etc. Me and daughter (her step daughter) still live here. No affair, nothing like that. More bad communication than anything else, fell out of love with me etc.. still not 100% sure. Was so sudden though, No previous talk of unhappiness, No trying again, no counciling etc. Looking back I was a pretty shit husband in the last few months. Life dealt us some shit…
