Drugs can take women people through a spiral of emotions Let's not pretend it's just women that are affected by drug usage.

I mean, we had a solid, monogamous relationship. Just, I guess, after a year plus, she didn't want to take any further steps in the relationship, like moving in together or anything. The like last two months we were together, there were just times where I could tell things were off, like she wasn't as happy as she had been in the past, so I ended up breaking it off. Communication between two people in their early-mid 20's is rarely the best. The fact that we had a majority of the same friend gro…

Did it once, never again. Highly unlikely it'll work out for long term stability. It was a great time until the relationship ended. She didn't cheat on me or anything, but... I overinvested emotionally and was gutted in the end.

Works out fine. I was 22-23 when I dated an 18-19 year old in college. Depends on what you want out of it, I guess? She seems pretty receptive to the idea of your dating, so build it up for now and then go for it when she's 18.

I feel you. Been through a similar experience. Was single for about 2 after a hard break-up with my college gf, now I'm at like 2.5 years in a relationship and it's... fine. Had some ups and downs, but I'd say it's overall worth it. I also work about 50 hours a week in the restaurant industry, am an introvert who has poor skills at juggling a social life with a close knit group of friends, on top of having a relationship. I don't know how people who like people actually do this. All I'm gonna sa…

So, you've been with a person 2 months. You're now learning more about them as a person and you are losing interest because you dislike/don't agree with what you've learned about them. Sounds normal. If anything, it's unusual that the honeymoon phase died quite this quickly, but yeah, the magic and newness going away while you learn more (specifically, things that are not cool) about someone will rattle you. Up to you to decide if it's really worth your time and effort to "ride it out for a few …

It's not broken, it's just changed. I hate using the term, but a lot of the "hook up culture" of younger people not wanting to settle down, combined with technology, has completely reshaped the idea of what dating "is". It's not so much meet someone at church/work/bar/club/party/etc., have a relationship as friends, then develop from there. Are there still situations for this? Yeah, and I recommend them, especially instead of online dating. If you want a better shot of a "real" relationship pann…

100% this. Nothing healthy will come out of pushing for anything. Also, at least you're honest about being kinda scuzzy in "hoping [you] can get sex from her", even though she said she regretted it last time. Just move on and be civil adults for your kid.

If she makes it clear she has a boyfriend and you continue to pursue, it's a bit dicey morally, but you aren't technically the party who's wronging anyone. If she makes the decision to be unfaithful or break up with them, cool. It's her choice. Unless you're gonna be a really manipulative piece of shit about it and try and intentionally ruin a happy relationship just so you can sleep with her. That's not cool. However, I think it's crossing a serious line if the boyfriend is someone with any sor…

1) I'm biased, I strongly dislike Hemmingway's style of writing. He was an alcoholic ex-pat who fled the US to Europe as part of the Lost Generation and spent a good majority of his life getting shithoused on Absinthe and writing, at best, dismal and shallow stories with poor narratives and basic characters. Definitely would not recommend looking to his characters or writing for advice about picking up girls or life, which brings me to point two. 2) Maybe don't take life advice from people who s…

That enjoying movies and books is a legitimate hobby if you're passionate and can talk in depth about them? I'm pretty sure that's a solid stance that I offered.
/r/seduction07/06/17 05:35 PM

I explicitly said that there are no 'bad' hobbies in itself You never "explicitly" said that. You exact words were "I would rather compare it to saying your hobby is watching movies or reading books... nothing bad in itself, but such a broad topic that it doesn't really invite for deeper questions" I'm saying that's not true. Unless you don't want to try and talk to people who like more cerebral or introverted activities like movies and books.

What? You can absolutely connect over books or movies, just it's with the right person. Talking in depth about 18th century lit with an English major or about how Citizen Kane revolutionized cinematography with a flim student shouldn't be rejected. If you mention that you play guitar to someone who doesn't like music or, at least, doesn't like acoustic guitar is just as boring as talking about books to the girl who'd rather drop molly at a rave and roll her face off (providing she is not devouri…

These are all fucking stupid and most of them are not "cheap", by any stretch. One is literally "go buy her a heart shaped diamond and give it to her on Valentine's Day".\ Other popular choices are: Buy tickets and go to a sports game (can be done on the cheap, MAYBE) Go to a fortune teller Rent a fancy, expensive hotel room for your anniversary Join a gym and workout together Go on a vacation to a cool and exotic place Fuck, they even listed "Propose under the sea" somehow as a "cheap" idea.

Besides the fact that there's a ton of fragrances out there, your body chemistry plays a huge part in it too. There's a line between being confident and comfortable with who you are and being arrogant and thinking you're god's gift to man. Being a genuine person who is actually cool with themselves is good for you and for the people who want to be around you. Also, if you find someone entertaining and want to spend time with them, that's interest and a very easy way to build a relationship and, thus, continue that further. I mean, the signing bit is a perfect example. Look, not only does it show a non-confident person's indecisive nature, it's also a bit of peacocking, plus a chance to show off a sense of humor or spontaneity (like, sing a Monty Python or something completely unexpected, maybe Katy Perry or some shit, and get a laugh). It's not about being talented, it's more about not being afraid to show off your talent and being proud of who you are rather than being awkward about being talented.

Honestly, I've run into for me that I can be temporarily satisfied, but I get bored. Like, to me, I've gotten too into the hunt. Once the hunt is over, I want to go hunting again. The games, the push/pull, the excitement of something new. Doesn't help that I think the last girl I was in a relationship with (8-9 months) ended up folding on me, so that didn't help my boredom, but still... Nope. I had one or two hook ups in college, then my final year I had a year long relationship. After we broke up, I went on a solid bender for a month, and then lowered my standards a bit and pulled a lot of women. Think about it this way; you know how all the typical college movies are like "yeah, this is a fresh start, I'm going to make a new identity for myself!" ? You can totally do that after college too.

I had this happen last month. Matched, talked for a day, made a date for the following day. So... you're trying to make travel plans or something? This is just a bunch of gobbledygook. There's not actual conversation or anything here to show a context or even a fragment. We had realized we both had some feelings for each other after spending a lot of time by ourselves over the course of the second summer living together. Really, it was a natural progression from just hanging out all the time and doing things together as friends, but then we decided to see what happened. It was pretty good, but there were a few other complications involved (she was also a good friend's ex), and we eventually called it before it got too serious. Still, even though we put the kaiba…

On one hand, I'm going to say fuck her for how she reacted to your honesty of that you weren't ready for it yet. That's juvenile and shows that she didn't really want a real relationship, which is perfect if that's what you wanted. On the other hand, you are a dick. You used the art of seduction and all its bases (kino, body language, words, etc) to woo a woman and get her interested in you to a point that she was ready and willing to sleep with you. This is an insanely interesting article. Granted, you could read this as "how to pick up married women", as OP tried to push, but it's really not so much about that. It really is an inside look into how relationships work and why cheating is such a grave offense. If you want to be reminded how to make your relationship actually work, this is a good start. I don't think so. I've started seeing a girl and, on the first date, she actually offered to split the bill at the cafe. I'll offer the defense that a lot of Asian families push really hard for girls and guys to date within the culture, very similarly to how Jewish families do as well. So, not only is it possibly a personal preference, she also might just be trying to not waster her time. Also, not sure why you decided to get so edgy when you left. You could have just bowed out gracefully. You got a little butthurt at the end there. And I'm really hoping "deuces" isn't middle fingers.

No, you're not. In fairness, a lot of the things that seddit teaches are just good life skills. For example, talk to everyone. Yes, it's good for social proof to walk into a bar and know the regulars and a bartender or two, and a woman might find that impressive/attractive, but it's good for you too. Free drinks, company to talk to, and it's better than drinking alone. It's a fun habit to make. And don't limit it to places for social proof. Bus drivers, secretaries, regular customers at work, cl…

If she's not texting me or doesn't reply, then I just don't care. In the relationship? Depends on the relationship. If I'm not seeing her, I'll usually shoot her something to keep contact up. Otherwise, I'm probably going to see her later, so unless something important comes up, I'd rather talk in person.

I'll tell you what; it's actually exactly the same. Confidence, kino, being sexual. All of it. You literally apply it in the same fashion as you would any other woman. It's pretty much how I ended up sleeping with my friend's mom. Looking back (this was before I was on reddit), I can see I did all the things that seddit tells you to do; self-confidence, kino, being overtly sexual when appropriate, etc. It kinda fell into my lap too, but keep the basic techniques and you can do it pretty much the…

I mean, I'd recommend somewhere a little less corporate. Some Starbucks are better than others, but it's not as relaxed of an environment; they want you to buy their coffee and get the fuck out. If you've got an independently run coffee shop, I'd recommend that, especially if they've got something more comfortable to sit on than wooden chairs. Plus, it's usually a bit cheaper too.

I guess it's oneitis, but just dropping a serious relationship and still having feelings seems... different to me. I dunno. It's not AFC/Nice guy pining shit. It's just hard to immediately not feel things for someone you were so emotionally invested in.

This is how my recent ex is. She was an awesome girl, and the relationship was really good, but I had a lot of anxiety (my personal issues) about her going out and partying and shit. The sex was good. If anything, I got better at it because of her. Communication was good, she knew what she wanted and I gave it to her. However, that'll be my warning; unless you know that she's done with with that lifestyle, shit is going to be an issue. If she's cool with the commitment, it's fine. If she's gotte…

I mean, I'm not exactly a city person, and I usually go out to nicer bars to drink and hang out with my friends, but I feel like I'd say that like maybe 1/6 would be open to the option depending on what kind of establishment you're going to.

Not true. I used some of the things I had gleaned from here to start dating my recent ex. It was the most serious relationship I've ever been in. Yeah, sex was involved partly, but it was still a relationship, not just a ONS. Depends on where you are. Obviously, trying to pick people up in a club or a bar is not the place where people go looking for a wholesome relationship.

"Let's get fucked up and mack on girls we don't give two shits about" just doesn't really appeal to me very often. Story of my life. Granted, I have access to some college parties, so I have the option of trying to do that, but it never struck me as what I wanted. Now I'm starting to dread that since I'm not a fan of this method, but I have dry spell that needs to be broken and an ex that needs to be pushed out of my mind.

Oh, I don't plan on it. I'm going to address it with them ASAP, let them know what I need to happen, and then have it be done at that, outside of talking to a few of them for support. It's also going to be awkward to tell her "Hey, listen, I know our friends congregate here often, but I'm going to need you to not come over to the apartment. Like, at all. Until further notice." The other shitty thing is that most of my closer friends have graduated and, thus, moved away from the area. I plan on p…

So, I'm in the middle of breaking up at the moment (more so it's happening right now, and I'm officially finalizing it with her when I get home from work). Any advice for when you two share the same friend group?

I mean, I started dating my current SO after realizing I liked her more than just a friend. Applied some standard game and managed to snag her. It's been the most serious relationship I've ever been in, we've gotten closer than we were, and now I'm dating my best friend. Which, if something ever happens, is going to suck, since we share the same friend group. So, two sides to every coin.

Been there. I was waiting for a date to come out and popo rolled up asking if I needed assistance. I had pot on me, get stopped, date walks out to me getting frisked and my car getting searched. Got in the car and went on our way. Kinda put a damper on the whole fun evening I had planned. Also made it a very expensive date. Only got a disorderly conduct, didn't have to wear the bracelets. Still a nice $240 fine though.

Huh. I definitely notice a difference in comfort between regular and magnums, personally. Perhaps it is all psychological.
/r/seduction16/08/13 02:55 PM

I'd also recommend looking into condom sizes. While people will tell you "Condoms cand stretch, nobody needs a magnum, lol", they're dead wrong. While length can be an issue for condoms, so is the girth. Magnum condoms provide more room for a larger girth, as well as length. If the condom is too tight, that can prevent blood flow, thus loss of erection. Source: I dealt with this. Another thought might be looking into thinner condoms. Thinner rubber means more feeling, but also less durable. All …

Well, you don't have to be a dick. It's strafing the line to negging, which in a relationship is easier to get away with rather than just being too alpha on a first date, but just be sarcastic and joking, but hide that little serious sting in it. If it's a continual problem, then something to think about would be a more serious call out.

You start off by finding someone you think is interesting and get them to go out with you. If it sounds like you were right and they are, or you just would like to see more of them, then make further plans to do things. Build up a friendship as well as a relationship, and not just sexual, and then it just kinda happens. As shitty and unscientific as it sounds, it does. You'll notice you like spending time around them not for the sex, maybe a bit for the fun, but more just because you like being …

Well done, sir. I will say that your sex advice is pretty spot on. I'm a fan of pulling my girlfriend's hand down and making her know exactly what she's doing to me, and not only that, it's a great teaser too. I believe her words this morning were "You can't put that big hard cock in front of me and then not expect me to do something about it." And then I got a blowjob and made coffee and breakfast.

I mean, I 'd still call it a relationship if that's appropriate. Is it not a relationship if you had something serious with someone before you left to go study abroad for a semester or to take a job in a foreign country? It depends on the relationship itself, not so much the concept of having an expiration date.

I'm willing to say this is true in my case, sometimes. A more attractive woman means more AA. I've had a great self-defeatist attitude for years, but sometimes I end up just saying "fuck it" and trying. Worst thing you can do is say no, and then we're both back to where we started.

I'm not arguing that social interaction is good. But if there was a someone I was not interested in being friends/associating with, who was continually harassing me, I would cut ties. I have no interest in wasting my time and energy dealing with people I don't want to deal with. That seems so ass backwards. Gender isn't the issue here. The issue is that OP's friend was receiving unwanted advances but she continued to enable them.

Yes, but talking to people who won't leave you alone and are creepy is how you get raped. There's a very large difference between talking to the nice elderly couple on the bus for no reason and continuing to talk to some guy who won't leave you alone because you aren't willing to hurt his feelings. And to clarify, if you're talking to someone, actually having a conversation, you're invested on a personal level. Yes, this is true. But our friend here is clarifying that these women are talking to men they don't want to be friends with. He's confused why they are continuing to correspond to dudes that they are not interested in on a personal level. Which honestly, can be a fair question to ask sometimes. Women can do it all the time with other women too. This isn't simply gender exclusive. Men seem to acknowledge their dislike for each other and will either be platonic or aggressive about it. The friend zone is the concept of oneitis, or a one-sided relationship. Having a friend and falling in love is okay. It's natural to develop feelings for someone after spending time with them. However, it's unfair to be pissy just because someone doesn't reciprocate the depth of your feelings. Is it worth trying to break out? Sure, why not? Props for referencing Cruel Intentions. It's interesting you put this into a 2 week period, generally seeing that most interactions seem to be recommended as same night or as briefly as possible. It was also curious to me that you picked starting online versus IRL. However, I feel like this method is quite expensive, as well as lengthy.
