There's more to misogyny than hate. For example, assuming young women and girls think that they can't be smart and have to be shown that they can is absolutely misogyny. It infantilizes them and undermines a their agency, because without this program, they'd never know better.

Perhaps I'm missing the point, but wouldn't that kind of legislation have the potential to really help men? The largest portion of female on male DV is prinarily psychological after all. There are obvious issues when it come to handling the enforcement, but this is a step in the right direction, isn't it?

A lot of universities have their own police force Police force, or Security? I've seen plenty of campus security forces, but never a real police force. Those are two completely different things. And as for being able to enforce a code of conduct, I'm almost certain there's legal president saying that they can't expel a student for crimes that the student weren't convicted of. Which ultimately comes back to my point that they seem themselves as above the law.

I did seek legal advice, but it really didn't amount to anything. The case would ultimately come down to my word as a disgruntled person who wasn't hired, against a rather senior police officer. Even then if I did get hired in the future, it might to come back to haunt me.
