We are all just trying to stay afloat financially. Trying not to “drown.” The ‘oppressor’ is the company and the laws which the company operate AKA metaphorical “Ocean”we are all “drowning” in. The bonus is what? A hundred bucks probably? I see that as more of a symbol of good faith than anything. Men have had it a lot better for a lot longer when it comes to inequality and should probably give a little back and I wonder if that’s exactly what OPs bank is trying to do.
