Any number of things. Their upbringing, the attitude of society in general, or even just how they're feeling that day in particular. To infer it must be because they're female is just as much of a problem as the pussypass itself.

And here's what I'm saying; We can believe whatever we want about the situation, but there was nothing to support that this is just because she's a female. Also an important note, this is PPD, and there was no denial of a pass. Even if we agreed it was a pussypass thing, it's still in the wrong sub.

But that entitlement could easily come from anyone, regardless of gender. He might have beat her, or a guy, or vice versa. Just depends on the people involved, not the gender (at least this time). My point is, there's nothing inherently PPD about this. Just an asshole.

Another post that doesn't seem to have anything to do with her being female, just an asshole. I've been wondering, but is this place even moderated anymore?

Right? I'm getting really tired of this. In no way does she try to use her gender. She's just an asshole.

Welcome to /r/pussypassdenied, where women are not allowed to use their gender as a handicap or an excuse to act like assholes. Yay equality! THIS IS NOT /R/BEATINGWOMEN. /r/pussypassdenied is not for misogynists, racists, or otherwise douchy types of individuals. To be clear: PPD DOES NOT MEAN THAT A WOMAN NEEDS TO REFER VERBALLY TO HER GENDER. FEMINIST ACTS, A MAN DEFENDING HIMSELF, AND OTHER SITUATIONS WHERE WOMEN DO SOMETHING THAT IMPLIES THEY WILL SUFFER NO REPERCUSSIONS ARE FAIR GAME. Righ…

Seems totally irrelevant. It's not related to gender, it's related to her NOT being Trump.

Looked to me like she did try to continue, they pushed her back, she struggled, game on. I see your point though. It would be optimal if people just... listened. Sadly, with all the corrupt police work these days, people aren't as willing to listen. Not this chick though. She just craycray

Yup. Doesn't take long for them to respond if you don't listen. Nobody's fault but her own this time.

They DID try to move her away and tell her to stop. She got belligerent and tried again.

He hit the brakes almost as soon as she popped out there. Not sure what you're talking about. You can hear the tires lock up

You realize there was an entire article underneath, with eyewitness statements right? It's not just the video.

It... has a source. Right there on the image.

In what way is this related to her being female? In what way does this show her acting out specifically as a female, under the belief that she would get away with it? This isn't /r/irrationalfemales.

Hey I'm just going off of what I read on the situation. Again though, regardless of the story itself, it really doesn't belong here.

"For no reason"? It's bear spray. I'd say she found the perfect reason. Also, my understanding is that the location in this video is... beyond remote, and that boat was likely her only real way back. Before anyone says it, yes, I do see the other boat in the distance, across all that freezing cold water. Regardless, this doesn't belong here.

If this is you, jesus christ bro. Obviously from the first moment you spoke to her, you could tell she was only going to argue. You even threatened to call the cops, and then proceeded to yell at her for a while instead. Escalating things on your own isn't the best solution in these cases. Relax, walk away, and laugh, knowing that you've already won. Yelling and storming around her office for a few minutes accomplishes nothing, and only makes your case look bad.

"A situation that a man could never get away with" "If the roles were revered it would be a different story" That's basically the point here isn't it? She got away with something a man wouldn't have.

Another example of the discrimination people ignore. We need to stop focusing on one group's rights or another. It only leads to the "opposite" groups having more issues. Equality for all humanity is the only goal with a desirable outcome.

I have no idea what to tell you, other than perhaps posting in /r/legaladvice, and perhaps consulting a lawyer if you can afford a couple of hours. I really hope somebody here can be of more help though.

As usual with anything sexual, men are the monsters. Even in scenarios where both people do the exact same thing, they find this need to make one a victim, and one a violent criminal, ruining his life. I say his because it's almost always the guy. Edit - I'd also like to know why they're charging a 17 year old?

See at first I agreed with that when it was briefly mentioned in the video, but the fact is that men are expected to be the ones asking. So even in that scenario, it's still usually going to fall on the man's shoulders (and wallet)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
