I also see this kind of behaviour in many contexts. For example if someone won't come to your party, they don't just tell you: "Hey I won't be there tomorrow." They serve you a lengthy story about why they can't come and how complicated their lives are right now. I don't care! Even if you wanted to stay home and masturbate to rabbit porn, it would be the same to me.

Don't focus on your success. Try to focus on the weird, embarrassing and funny storys that result from you trying. For me that was already worth it back then.

Ok. So I have to be the counter-point here. In my experience it is possible. Took one year. We basically didn't see each other in that time, but we talked quite a lot.

My girlfriend does wear underpants on her head sometimes. I am now starting to consider, she might be crazy. In the other hand, so do I. So it's probably all good.

Jeah most pople worry about beeing judged om percieved social rules that in many situations don't even exist. Living withoit daring about this makes it so much more interestimg and funny.

I think it's best to don't even see your failures as failues, but as attempts. This will make you feel like you get everything you want, sooner or later.

Hah. I like the High five thing too it's a very funny thing to do. We had another game: When you are out with a friend you tell him to open a set and if he does, good, but if he doesn't he owes you a shot. After that it's your turn to open a set and this goes on and on. Usually every night we had only 1 or 2 shots to buy but opened about 10 to 15 sets.

My strategy always was to share a drink. If I didn't like how things went I could still keep my drink. Also I'm a cheap bastard.

You're not seeing the point. Another example would be: If I'm blind to gender, then I would flirt with men and women alike, but since I'm a heterosexual male I'll obviously flirt with the women. This is not because men and women are not equal but because men and women are different.

Um I really don't get how this gets to be gross. And actually that's what is happening everyday on the streets everywhere. It doesn't have to look like you are a kid with an overblown ego, searching for someone to acknowledge him. just act normal with it. The going overboard thing is obviously just for fun.

When I'm not having anything to do with the person ... I'll just look away after I've lost interest in a person ... not looking back, because here is no reason. If I'm in a conversation or otherwise engaged with people and looking into their eyes is becoming uncomfortable or a staring contest, I'll just smile at the other person. Thus setting a friendly mood. Usually at this point people blink briefly and then smile back.

This belongs here: http://www.ted.com/talks/amy_cuddy_your_body_language_shapes_who_you_are.html Also. Go overboard with your body language. If you can, take up 4 seats when you sit down in a train. I do. Then obviously, if someone needs a place to sit, invite them into your space. Don't be an asshole and block the seats.

Jup usually the way your body looks should already tell how strong you are and how good you take care of it. Everyone who feels the need to verify his self worth like that is really showing everyone else how little he is worth.

Learning to enjoy dancing alone can lead to a huge improvement in your enjoyment of clubs. This please. learned that like 3 years ago and since then I never felt bored when going to a club.

You obviously do it at a point where it is appropriate, probably when you are already about to go into a dark corner together. not like: "Hi. What's your name? Would you bite my neck?"

Try smiling with your face when you are on the streets. You will seem a lot nicer and people won't be afraid of you. Note: Only smile with your mouth after you already made some kind of (eye) contact as it could seem creepy when you randomly smile at people.

It's because we want to be in Control. I could just go back and let my hair grow, would look exactly like Kurt Cobain and some girls would come flying at me automatically. I don't want this! I want to be able to convince girls that I'm awesome on my own. Also sometimes people get girls by sheer luck. It's the same as when you were a small child. You'll have to socialize. How are you going to get to know a girl if you don't socialize with her? I think people usually say they don't like socializing because they are afraid of it, get over that fear. If you don't like bars or clubs, that is fine (even though I think it is because you don't socialize). Just talk to people you find interesting directly on the streets, usually referred to as daygame. And follow what puaCurveBall said!
/r/seduction30/03/12 04:59 PM

Unless you're above average looking, most of the times. ... that might actually be the case. If a girl likes you off the bat it's all fairly simple. I think it's really rare that a girl really likes you off the bat. She doesn't know you at all. She might be attracted to you or not, but if she really likes you is a completely different story. And if she is not directly repulsed by your appearance you definitely can turn many things around if you are confident. They won't talk to you for half an h…
/r/seduction30/03/12 01:08 PM

And exactly how many times is that the case? I know the first 5 seconds decide much about attraction. But you have so many possibilities to screw up afterwards. So whenever you "wasted" time with a girl she probably was attracted to you at first but you didn't play it right.

Body language is one of my personal stronest points. it still doesn't matter if your other skills are bad. I'm especially talking about escalation and conversation. A mute person is probably a special case, usually you expect some kind of spoken conversation.

Hah. I'm at Physical Escalation. I planned to tackle this the next week because it's a week of holiday I'll have much time on my hands to tackle it. My conversation skills will have to step back a little from my main focus. With the girls I was with before I never experienced the Sexual Escalation barrier. I liked reading that. I hated the last one. entp The ENTP regards a comment like "it can't be done" as a personal challenge, and, if properly motivated, will spare no effort to discover a solution. This pretty much sums up my whole approaching technique.

You shouldn't make yourself too concerned when you haven't had sex when you're only 19. Hell it's probably not even a big deal If you have your first time with 25.

Well, that's a thing of personal taste. And maybe I'm influenced since I'm currently staying Spain. The only other thing I could think of would be wearing a black bodysuit like the children in Australia when they go swimming. You would be the hero at comic-con. But honestly: You should try it, having a weird hat is usually not all that ... weird as it seems.

I tried daygaming for the first time so I approached at least once every day. My body language and self confidence got really strong, to the point that random people on the street start smiling at me or approaching me without any apparent reason and in bars I practically don't need to buy drinks because people want me to have a sip of their drinks and start a conversation all the time. On the other hand, my conversation skills still suck and it will eventually die out after some minutes, also I'…

Last year I met a girl again that I was with for a little time like 3 years before that. She actually noticed, that I still wear the same clothes. XD I take it as a compliment since who would usually remember what clothes I wear ... for 3 years?
/r/seduction25/03/12 02:57 PM

fuck. Just do nothing. The only thing you really need are the guts to try it. You already read more than enough! stop it! I tried that doing sport beforehand ... changes exactly nothing.
/r/seduction24/03/12 02:21 AM

If you have a valid reason for sitting there just do it: "This is the best place in the cafe. Is this seat taken?" This won't open the conversation, it just validates you beeing there. And could also be implied depending on the situation. If you are approching first then talk to her and after she seems comfortable with you, just sit down.

This actually makes no sense. When I buy a coffee it won't get cheaper, just because I earn less money. I would share things like rent equally but Invite her more often, since I am in a better position. Notice, that I'm talking about a usual couple in the their 20ies situation. P.s. would…
/r/seduction23/03/12 03:23 PM

Yeah something like that or ask another person "Is he always like that?". And after that invite him to stop glaring and participate. I doubt he could smack you for giving him a chance.
/r/seduction23/03/12 12:59 PM

Is this available in Europe too?
/r/seduction23/03/12 01:41 AM

Hehe. the guy was no AMOG he was just an AFC. If he was glaring at you you probably could have easily called him out on that. Scoring extra points with the girls, reducing his chance of interfering and/or even pulling him onto your friendly side. P.S. I totally imagined that in a harry potter setting.
/r/seduction23/03/12 01:30 AM

It's not only that you shouldn't get affected by such a comment on one of your features, you can usually quite easily turn them around in your favour, by embracing that feature.
/r/seduction23/03/12 01:19 AM
1

.... If you say "I like your hair" there is no freaking way anyone would take that as offensive. No matter the haircolor. If she seemed taken aback it was most likely because she was astonished.
/r/seduction23/03/12 01:13 AM
1

Really?! there are people that mock each other for their haircolor?! BTW. Redheads, at least when talking about girls, are usually considered hot.
/r/seduction23/03/12 01:05 AM
1

When you need adrenalin rushes then you maybe should talk about something like that and get the group to do something in that direction. But usually you should try to keep the conversation about the other person. People love talking about themselves. Otherwise, if usual convo is to boring for you, use your imagination and say something crazy. I'm still not good at this either but I start getting my laughs and even other emotional reactions out of people.
/r/seduction22/03/12 08:51 PM
1

I'm sorry I couldn't read all this, because if I did I would have puked! I definitely wouldn't want to get back together with that woman! She behaved in a way that you just don't do in a relationship. You know, in good and bad times! If you get back together she'll probably just use you. Be a man and don't cling to such a woman.

If internalizing this really is like learning a foreign language.... Then I'll have to just forget all that shit here, go to the next club, asking the next girl to fuck and she'll love it. Cool that just sounded exactly like the girl I have as a wingman. So I'll see those things as verified. Actually we have a shittest going on about how much a guy/girl that enters our group values the other people in the group, if he/she isn't caring at all they'll get thrown out again immediately. Also we usually pose as cousins or twins and let them verify themselves to the other one of us, it's fun. But usually the guys fail much harder at this than the girls. Heh. With the working week approaching, I'm just thinking about exactly the same things. I think at daygame you generally have less obvious opportunities, since usually the people don't expect someone unknown will talk to them over the day. You can only show them the door, they must walk through it themselves. I for one really like helping some of my shy friends to talk to a girl. Now I'm very new to this too but what happened to me so far: One friend, after I got him to talk to a girl really opened up and just started to talk to everyone and really enjoyed the whole thing. Another one ... he talked to the girl, for like two minutes, got cold feet and gave up. (maybe next time this will change with him) But I also have friend that …

Am I the only one here, that can't beleive this?! This is just outrageous.

Heh. just wrote a FR where I actually noticed the same thing yesterday. But what do you think, actually makes the difference? Inner game, how you value other people, your actual looks or what?
/r/seduction18/03/12 01:23 AM

Yeah, sure tell that to all those friendzoned guys that the girls drag with them in the club. It will only work if you are the one leading and not following.

Deny Deny Deny.

If everyone flakes out on you ... well nothing happened nobody is stopping you from anything. Just have a nice night at home doing your hobbies or go out on your own. There is no problem there.

No a number is the first step to achieving a date or maybe a kiss (when you haven't done that directly). So it is an important achievement. When you are not that accustomed to talking to new people in the open getting a number is a big step. Once you've done it a few times, you realize that it is actually quite easy, but getting to that point takes time too.
/r/seduction17/03/12 07:25 PM

I wouldn't embrace drugs too much for things like that. Or at all.
/r/seduction17/03/12 04:08 PM
1

But don't tell the girls how much you weigh. It will make them very self concious. ;)
/r/seduction16/03/12 11:58 AM
2

OMG. I don't see the problem, friendzoning is far to easy.
/r/seduction15/03/12 10:32 PM

It would make clear that it really means only coffee for you. which might help clarify things.
/r/seduction14/03/12 08:09 PM

I would go out with her for coffee. And only for that. You can stay on a friendly basis with your exes, there is nothing wrong with that.
/r/seduction14/03/12 03:06 PM
4

No, ask unusual questions that require her to think in unexpected ways. And then let her do the talking.
/r/seduction14/03/12 01:50 AM
2

I must completely disagree. I think I have casually met more people in public transports than anywhere else.
/r/seduction13/03/12 04:17 PM

.. just get off the bus with her and take the next one .... unless you live somewhere in the nirvana where the bus only comes every 2 hours.
/r/seduction13/03/12 04:14 PM

It's not that simple. It's a myriad of small signals hat you are sending out. Usually a little smile on your lips is a good start. Just try to be extroverted in how you move and act. If you think about something ... let it show on your face. I hope I'm getting right, what OP wanted to tell. :)
/r/seduction13/03/12 10:26 AM
2

... it it bad that I still know how many I've kissed? O.O?
/r/seduction13/03/12 12:48 AM
1

Damn don't pain yourself. If you don't like it don't do it. I enjoy talking to people in the bar or club. Sometimes it's more sometimes it's less. One time there are not many interesting people and somehow I don't fit into the situation ... then I'll just make the best of it maybe talk a little here and there, eventually separate myself from the group looking for different situations and if I don't find anything interesting even after that I'l just get on the dancefloor and dance like nobody is …

Your genetics are a product of our environments. Only on a bigger scale.
/r/seduction13/03/12 12:32 AM

But at the same time: If you want something don't be afraid to take the steps to get it.
/r/seduction13/03/12 12:30 AM

... OMG math fail. That happens when you passed all your math courses. You start deleting everything about it. 1 in 20 makes inherently more sense.
/r/seduction12/03/12 09:29 PM
2

Well. you would probably be right. but I wouldn't really want to be approached in front of my parents, even though they would have no problem with it.
/r/seduction12/03/12 09:27 PM
2

But wouldn't it be awkward to approach while she is with her parents?
/r/seduction12/03/12 04:33 PM

Seems to me like they all saw you as a friend and not as a lover. when they realized you were seeing them as a lover they started to cancel.
/r/seduction12/03/12 04:21 PM

only 1 in 200 girls?! seems kinda low to me.
/r/seduction12/03/12 04:14 PM

.... Why does everyone say that the frist time is bad? Do you say that because you want people to relax about their first time or because it really is like that for people?
/r/seduction12/03/12 04:01 PM
5

lol with twenty it is not at all weird to be still a virgin. You can tell her beforehand. I'd guess girls like it to have a virgin like men do. Back then she was actually happy when I told her. And back then it was a 2 week holiday thing.
/r/seduction12/03/12 03:57 PM

Damn, I can't help but to think the whole thing is scripted.

'hey maybe you'll get close to see me, when we go out next Friday.' Dunno, I suck at this too. XD

You can tell everyone you are Dr. House. I had that too, met some nice elderly people then ... because our moving speeds matched up. When it got a little better I even went to festivals ... which wasn't such a good idea health-wise but well it was ok the pain goes away at some point. But It kept with me for a long time. 1/4year later, I twisted my ankle a little in a club and it released a roaring pain which needed me to sit down with a cold sweat for the next 5 minutes.
/r/seduction11/03/12 10:22 PM
4

You won't say that when she is pregnant afterwards. ;)
/r/seduction11/03/12 10:12 PM

Hm. good for you. Now I'll need to read the whole story. XD
/r/seduction11/03/12 10:04 PM

And which city would that be? From the cities I know ... your mileage may vary.
/r/seduction11/03/12 09:51 PM
5

Could you provide a TL:DR?
/r/seduction11/03/12 09:41 PM
1

That is for all the guys that are taking this whole thing too serious.
/r/seduction11/03/12 09:39 PM
4

I dunno about your area. But I spent a great part of the last summer in the park. All the people are hanging out, Chicks in bikinis tanning, playing ball. You know, like the beach but for poor people. But yeah you are right, the park on a date only makes sense when you are going to make out or something.
/r/seduction11/03/12 09:24 PM
5

Why is it anti-climactic? Are you speaking in general?
/r/seduction11/03/12 08:36 PM
2

Maybe that's why she reacted well to his excuse afterwards.
/r/seduction11/03/12 08:34 PM
25

... Yeah when you are in a club and you are suddenly surrounded by girls, you can safely assume 2/3 of them are there because they think you are cute.
/r/seduction11/03/12 08:24 PM
1

I somehow get the feeling you guys are taking this way too serious.
/r/seduction11/03/12 02:15 PM

Send me a printed version. ;)

Awesomest photo! I wanna hang it up my wall. :D
/r/seduction09/03/12 09:08 PM
3

.... danger. might be duckface. Sorry I couldn't resist. ;)
/r/seduction09/03/12 09:04 PM
2

That is only because you have no dreams, no visions. You should go out see the world and get rid of those petty little boundaries that you think bind people to who they are. Everyone can go way beyond who they are now. The fact that I'm standing in front of you right now is proof. If they want existentialism, they can have it.
/r/seduction09/03/12 12:50 PM
5

Definitely weak inner game.
/r/seduction09/03/12 12:48 PM
2

It may be really that: You are trying too hard. Don't try to be funny no matter what it costs. I also have freinds who seem to keep conversations going no matter what. And then They are biting of your ears and they start to bore you to hell. Just because the don't know when to shut up. On the other hand, sometimes it's ok to be a little annoying. My freind were sometimes really annoyed, because I was always trying to convince them to go out. Now I've moved ... and hah see how happy they are if I…
/r/seduction07/03/12 11:12 PM
1

Yeah, beacuse that will get you anywhere in life. ... (I'm joking)
/r/seduction07/03/12 11:06 PM
2

Hey! you always should listen to your parents. But you should question if what they say it really applicable to you. When I listen to my parents about social life I always think that they have grown up in an entirely different time.
/r/seduction07/03/12 11:05 PM
1

... Fuck! It's really hard not to be funny at all. I've tried it, I wanted to be grumpy and pushing away other people. The longest I lasted was 10 minutes.
/r/seduction07/03/12 11:02 PM
1

Hm I tried this last friday. I'm in spain right now, so it's not really customary to shake hands. As we shook hands she first tried to retract her hand, but as she realized I didn't let go too, she left her hand there, we talked 1 or 2 sentences and then she gave me the usual two kisses. I think you can barely get more out of an introduction.
/r/seduction06/03/12 09:06 PM
1

hm. Good point.
/r/seduction06/03/12 09:00 PM
2

Yes you can be a chooser. Or do you want to tell me you would go with every asshole and ugly girl, just because there is no other for you at the moment?
/r/seduction06/03/12 04:27 PM
2

Look at guys and if you like one. Smile at him. If a nice girl smiles at me, I always come over. :)
/r/seduction06/03/12 04:23 PM
1

Sounds sexy.
/r/seduction06/03/12 11:33 AM
1

Hah. Headaches are the only thing I don't have right now. But I'll remember for the next time that I have. ;)
/r/seduction06/03/12 11:32 AM
1

Yeah that would be awesome. but the probability that this will happen at this stage is like infinitely small.
/r/seduction06/03/12 11:32 AM
1

I see the numbers going to waste too. :/ But let's see. Yeah. Onion juice. It tastes better than you think. .. Mostly because it consists of 50% sugar.
/r/seduction06/03/12 11:30 AM
1

... see above.
/r/seduction06/03/12 11:25 AM
1

I meant the 'do you want me to get a condom' line. I think the "I only have sex when I'm in love" line was a test, if he really was in love with her or just wanted some plaything. and OP lost.
/r/seduction06/03/12 11:22 AM
1

I don't see why you would need an excuse when she says no.
/r/seduction06/03/12 01:08 AM
1

... I'm on onion juice right now. I think the smell is going to make my flatmates sick. :D
/r/seduction06/03/12 12:57 AM
1

Hah. I would if I could.
/r/seduction06/03/12 12:55 AM
2

Yeah, as many more suggested. I'll do that.
/r/seduction06/03/12 12:54 AM
1

And how does that work?
/r/seduction06/03/12 12:54 AM
2

That is why. I literally don't want to make her sick.:)
/r/seduction06/03/12 12:53 AM
1

You should do it when you think it's right.
/r/seduction05/03/12 03:09 PM
3

You forgot the most important part: Help others to get in the game too. It's way funnier if everybody has a good time. And nobody feels excluded.
/r/seduction05/03/12 02:33 PM
5

Why would it be good to say "who says i wanted to"?! Wouldn't that make you sound like a child?
/r/seduction01/03/12 10:27 PM
7

Just because one is able to deal with all the shit coming his way, doesn't mean it's a nice thing to let him deal with all this shit. Criticism should only be used when it's needed and insults shouldn't ever be used. So as gentlemen, we should let women deal with the least shit possible.
