Not at all. It takes me a long time to trust the other person enough to get that release. I almost never come from one night stands. I’m in an LTR now and often, I want sex for the companionship, intimacy, the feeling of a mans love and body, but I’m not fussed about finishing cos it’s such an effort for me every time. When it does happen, it’s massive but I don’t want it every time.

Woman here, don’t feel the need to cum all that often, perfectly happy with sex without cumming. I was with a guy once who was determined to make me cum every time, even when I wasn’t in the mood and that was much more annoying.

Deceiving your partner by having sex outside your relationship is quite different from crossing the street. It’s fine if both partners agree they can see other people, but if they haven’t agreed then it’s a betrayal and it’s cheating.

If a man and woman haven’t agreed to an open relationship and he has sex with someone else and lies about it, that’s cheating.

You’re right, in order to observe mating choices in a scientific setting, those choices will ultimately have to be conveyed using spoken language. Great point. “I've never made such claim.” I know you didn’t. That’s the joke. You have yet to address my original claim and are instead arguing against a different claim of your own invention. I was highlighting the absurdity with my humor. Please cite a range of studies that show women don’t value humor and only value looks and I will reject those s…

In all three studies I quoted, women actively chose partners for their sense of humor more often then men chose partners for their sense of humor. These women didn’t just verbally testify that they like funny men. If three separate studies observing mating choices aren’t “good enough” for you and you have no evidence to the contrary, then you aren’t debating in good faith. I’m guessing crossing your arms like this is some attempt at an ego boost. “I know women claim sense of humour is one of the…

You don’t have to give anything but if you willingly enter into a tennis game at a tennis club, people will expect you hit the ball back. Right now I’m serving and you’re plucking the ball out of the air and putting it on the floor, saying “I could hit it back good but I don’t feel like it.” I never said women prioritise humor above all other qualities in a partner; I said women value humor in their male partners more highly than men value humor in their female partners. There is a difference. D…

If you have no studies of your own, no anecdotal experience, and no personal interpretation to add, and you choose to reject the wide range of proof I’ve provided for no apparent reason, why did you chime in to this conversation in the first place? The point of this subreddit is to exchange ideas. Any ideas of your own besides “no,” would suffice. Or you could just say “hello I have nothing to add besides my own irrational skepticism,” and save us both some time.

This article from Scientific American aggregates a number of studies that show women choose funny men but men don't particularly choose funny women. "women sought a mate who could make them laugh twice as often as they offered to return the favor. Men, on the other hand, offered humor about a third more than they requested it." "The psychologists showed 200 people photographs of men and women, each paired with either a funny or a fairly straight autobiographical statement. Women chose the funnie…

What’s untrue? That men don’t particularly care if women are funny? That women value humor in a man? It’s true in my experience.

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/20 01:32 AM

Titillation (no pun intended) and shame are so closely tied, I think it's safe to say men in those cultures don't react to a naked breast the way men in the west would react to a naked breast. Because we consider breasts genitalia, we've created a forbidden aura around them which increases their titillating appeal.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/20 10:12 PM
5

What about tribes where women don’t cover their breasts? The men aren’t agog all day long. Implies that breast lust is learned behavior to some extent. Even in the west, titties were more in fashion a few decades ago, while a fat ass is in fashion today. So tastes can be learned and unlearned.

Mate, men are constantly making jokes about their dicks. Almost every kids movie when I was growing up had at least one joke about a man getting kicked in the crotch. Imagine seeing a kids movie where a woman got punched in the boob. If you've ever been to a stand up open mic, over half the humor is men talking about masturbation and penis insecurity. Louis CK talks about his dick constantly. Maybe you don't notice because its relatable to you but men joke about their genitals all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/20 10:45 PM
29

A number of reasons: -Women value humor in a mate more highly than men value humor in a mate. You hear women say all the time they want someone who will make them laugh. You almost never hear a man say the same thing about a woman. So there's no incentive for women to present their sense of humor. -Because humor is an important mating strategy available to men who don't have other traditionally desirable qualities, it becomes a competitive sphere. Men compete amongst each other to be the funnies…

Women's sexual value is much more strongly tied to youth, which is totally out of a person's control. RPers act like any woman over 26 is a wizened hag. Generally speaking, male bachelors of any age are more societally accepted than single women, especially older women, who are again viewed as undesirable crones. Women's character is judged based on how many sexual partners she has had. Generally speaking there are a lot more weird standards of purity and youth applied to women. Women have enter…

Physical strength, an assumption of authority compared to equivalent women in the workplace, seeing themselves represented in movies, books, tv, sports, and not just as a token. Studies show that men’s medical concerns are taken more seriously; men with equivalent illness/injury to women are more likely to be classified as in need of urgent care, spend less time waiting in emergency rooms, and receive more painkillers. Women’s equivalent illnesses/injuries are more likely to be diagnosed as psyc…

Obviously, it's a personal decision at the end of the day and I don't particularly feel the need to change your mind. It's just a pet peeve of mine when people draw these lines in the sand based on political affiliation, as if half the population can be diagnosed based on one word. I don't see how society can progress when people draw these hard lines between "us" and "them." To me, it's the same as RPers saying AWALT. Jonathan Haidt is very interesting on this topic. His research is on the moral roots of conservativism/liberalism. Liberals consider themselves the party of openness, fairness, and care. They incorrectly assume that conservatives therefore value the opposite: close-mindedness, injustice, and harm. In reality, conservatives do value care and openness, liberals just value those things slightly higher. Conservatives have additional values, in particular loyalty, authority, and sanctity, that libera…

Absolutely, there’s a fine line between acknowledging the problems we have as a society and identifying the causes and solutions to those problems, and indulging in resentment and victim hood. When you spend too much time on the latter, you lose sight of the fact that movements are made of individuals and individuals still need to try hard for themselves. I’m in here, encouraging RPers not to indulge in resentment but you’re right; I don’t think anyone is telling feminists the same thing. I touc…

All that makes sense and I can see how the core philosophy is helpful for young men who need a boost in self-confidence and social skills. There’s plenty of decent advice for short term dating strategy. However, it’s mixed in with a lot of indulgent resentment of women; the community allows itself to shift responsibility for every negative social experience onto women and revels in that resentment; stoking it higher and higher. For those who have the emotional intelligence to sort through what’s…

True, its a question of philosophical perspective. Modern feminism and many other modern social movements have too much focus on power and privilege: who’s got it, who doesn’t, how can I get it from the other guys. Power isn’t a virtue. Power won’t make you content. It won’t make you a better person. Take responsibility for your life. Take responsibility for yourself as an individual. Power also implies heavy responsibility, so start practicing, unless you just want to keep shifting power around…

Also what you described would is the ideal, but it’s not happening in TRP. People have decided they want to blame women for everything and seek out evidence which supports their conclusion. It’s backwards.

One of my gay friends said that because many gay men are in the closet during their youth, when they come out and start dating as themselves, they’re years behind in terms of emotional maturity. They missed out on the “baby-talk” phase of dating if you will; all the weird early mistakes you make ages 13-17 or so. Sounds like the same problem every philosophy goes through; the core material is worthwhile but as it gets watered down, translated, re-translated, and as communities build around it, people can't help themselves but start behaving badly. And the bad behavior is usually noisier than the good behavior.

If you meet someone compatible to you, such that you want to build a whole life with them, it's rational to love them. With regard to wages, I gather from your comments that you believe women are attracted to men with lots of money, regardless of whether they love that person. For the sake of argument, do you think it's rational for women to be attracted to man's wages? Since pure love is irrational?

I can see how for young men who struggle with basic self-esteem, social skills, and emotional boundaries TRP offers an initial boost in those areas. Although the tone is abrasive, "putting the pussy on a pedestal" is a very common and unappealing mistake lonely people make, and TRP insists on drawing these basic emotional boundaries, which makes sense. The program falls off a cliff when it licenses young men pile censure on all women for their negative social experiences, rather than blaming the…

As far as I've seen on this sub, they either ignore counter examples or argue that those women are lying or that they do act according to this "female nature" unconsciously. In the end, many men on here suffer from such low self esteem that even positive signs from women must be interpreted as subterfuge. It's easier to believe the world is hopeless, than to risk getting your hopes up. That's why I keep coming back; in the end I do feel for these guys.

utilizing these trends to access these phenomenon at a personal level is an entirely different ballgame. This is a major problem with TRP's relationship to science. Yes it can be interesting to observe larger trends in social behavior based on gender, but that won't necessarily help your social skills when talking to individuals. As another user said, these trends aren't deterministic; they won't tell you everything about every individual you encounter and ultimately, most people engage with TRP…

I've been thinking more about this and want to adjust my original statement. Math can describe pieces of human nature, as can art and poetry. But all of these are just approaches. None are total. So I'd still disagree that male and female nature are math. They can be described in part by math, as they can be described in part by any number of approaches. To me, Jung's insights are more holistic; they speak directly to the soul, rather than measuring one tiny piece of a vast mystery. But here, we…

Math can be used to model trends in populations by gender but that approach can never fully, conclusively define male or female nature. We might be working with different definitions of the word “nature.” For me, Carl Jungs ideas come closest to fully illuminating our deeper nature, including the particular psychological rites of passage faced by each gender. And his approach is poetic, not mathematical. I agree any observable trends aren’t deterministic but damn if people don’t apply them that …

When I think about it, I can’t even nail down in my head what a Chad is. Is it athletic and good looking? Because sometimes those people are still terribly awkward with women. Is it someone who gets laid a lot? Because sometimes those guys are losers in other aspects of their lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 09:37 PM

I think a general male and female nature exist but they are vastly over analysed in TRP with no room for nuance. And they claim to view these natures objectively when every conclusion is filtered through pessimism and a desire to hang all of society’s ills and their own personal problems on women. These natures are less like math, more like poetry. Fluid, nuanced, full of exceptions.

Yikes she sounds like a nightmare. I agree with your original assertion that a “fixer upper” is not a good basis for a relationship. You shouldn’t have to ask your wife for receipts but you also shouldn’t have to pay for her body modification and education so she can become acceptable. Wow, that sounds tough. My dad came from a similar background and I’ve noticed that anger is the only acceptable “manly” emotion (he got these ideas from his own father). As a result, whenever my dad feels anything-sadness, inadequacy, fear, vulnerability-it all just turns into anger. Knowing when to cut off empathy is healthy. And yes, you should choose carefully who to give your heart to. That’s just normal healthy boundaries and is essential for any human being. Many people unfortunately learn these boundaries after they are taken advantage of, myself included. Having no empathy is not normal. Empathy isn’t weakness. Which is the main reason why empathy and strength are binary in nature as a male Hard disagree. Most humans have empathy; the ability to understand what others are feeling. Weakness is the polar opposite of strength, not empathy. Empathy is the ability to understand the feelings of another. Weakness and empathy are not the same at all. I've heard the same notion in a Jordan Peterson lecture on Torah, regarding the true definition of a word often translated as "meek." The original word shouldn't translate as "weak." It's meaning is closer to: "you have weapons, know how to use them, and choose not to." It's got nothing to do with empathy.

Strength and empathy are not opposites and it’s entirely possible to possess both qualities at once. Yes, being a pushover and having no boundaries won’t lead to a balanced dating life but TRP is obsessed with doom and gloom extremes which aren’t reflected in real life.

Then yes, I’ve used a variety of characteristics and traits to evaluate partners but that supports my assertion that a binary “alpha” and “beta” definition of attraction is way too simplistic to accurately represent attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 06:48 PM

How do you define alpha vs beta? I’ve also noticed there is no concrete definition of these terms in TRP.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 06:36 PM

I’m precisely saying that real life is way more nuanced and complicated than simplistic concepts like “alpha” and “beta.” In my experience TRP is obsessed by simple fictional projections: Chad is Gaston and he’s coming for your GF. “Female nature” can be defined and conquered with the right rules and techniques, so you too can become Gaston. It’s a naive and simplistic worldview.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 06:33 PM

TRP only represents a tiny portion of the population and you should not take their opinions as gospel. Go out and get your own life experience. Date people you admire and respect.

I’ve been in a number of relationships from totally casual to very serious with a wide range of men and never once evaluated whether he was “alpha” or “beta.” They were just men who were attractive to me for various reasons. RP men evaluate themselves and one another on this binary alpha/beta basis, but most people are totally unaware of this concept when choosing a partner.

Women here; many women envy men because they traditionally have more access to and respect in many workplaces. I don’t envy men because every individual has natural advantages and disadvantages and I’d rather emphasise the positive in my life instead of feeling sorry for myself for the negative. Also our modern obsession with power in interpersonal dynamics is so narrow minded. Power is not a virtue. There are many terrible people with sad lives who have power. Everyone has some power that other…

Not OP but no, there is no finite list of locations where women enjoy meeting strangers. Like, if I’m approached at a bus stop, I’ll be overjoyed but if the same person approached me in a kebab shop, I’d call the police? It depends entirely on my mood, my goals for the day, the other person, their approach, and tons of other undefinable factors. Its not at all location dependent.

Life is much more nuanced than “alpha” and “beta.” These concepts, as they are used in TRP, are fabricated by men who are attempting to impose order on sex/romance/dating, when there is no such order. Relationships, attraction, dating, sex are vast and fluid arenas. Men of TRP try to make hard rules and formulas for these endeavours, when life doesn’t work that way. Do you want a relationship? Then pursue one. Don’t let internet strangers tell you your value as a human. A real alpha pursues thei…

I slept with men casually when I was attracted to them/enjoyed their company but knew we didn’t have enough in common to date long term. With LTRs I had the same level of initial attraction plus more admiration for their worldview such that I could see spending more time with them/dedicating more effort to maintaining a relationship with them. AF/BB never factored into it. I never knew about these concepts until looking into TRP and they don’t track with my dating experience.

Almost every woman on this thread said they wouldn’t want to be the side chick and some said they wouldn’t mind as long as communication was open between everyone. So no, women are not generally okay with being the side chick. Yes women don’t generally like being part of deception and treated as second class in a relationship. Why is that some big revelation?

I agree, often times on this subreddit, I find men are asking the wrong question and get frustrated when they don’t get clear answers. I was experimenting with this problem earlier and agree that I simply can’t fully separate physical and emotional attraction. I don't have specific evidence for it, but an inbuilt instinct towards emotional connection with a partner does make sense for women. Pregnant women and women with young children are physically vulnerable and would need to ascertain emotional commitment from men in order to feel safe having sex. Even in today's world, which isn't as physically threatening as the ancient world, the stakes are higher for women engaging in casual sex. Maybe it’s similar to titty/ass size on women. Yes it’d be nice if the waist was tiny and the ass and titties big and perfect. But you wouldn’t be disappointed by an otherwise excellent lover just because her ass could be bouncier. You wouldn’t get out your protractor and reject all but the most snatched fitness model, although technically such a figure would be “ideal.” I think men, particularly on this subreddit, are hoping for hard mathematical breakdowns of the most appealing man. Some RP men have had genuinely terrible home lives or relationships with women and carry those memories but many many young men on TRP don’t have relationship experience and are learning bitterness and misogyny from one another. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/assertive assertive (comparative more assertive, superlative most assertive) Boldly self-assured; confident without being aggressive. Assertive wasn't created as an alternative to aggressive. The word seems to have originated in the mid-1500s from the Latin assertus, meaning to defend. Everyone, men and women, needs to be assertive sometimes to get through life.

Personally, I think their good advice is mixed up with too much self-flaggellation, abuse, delusion, fear-mongering, posturing, and manipulation to be worth it. I’d recommend Alan Watts, Joseph Campbell, Carl Jung, or Jordan Peterson for self improvement. Those are ones that have worked for me.

Why isn’t confirmation bias a valid explanation of TRP fear of female infidelity?
/r/ExRedPill20/11/20 11:21 AM

It’s confirmation bias. It’s internet echo chamber. On another message board somewhere, women are sharing story after story of male violence and infidelity and coming to hate all men. People do it with their preferred political party. Get off the internet and look around. Is every man getting humiliated and cucked? Of course not. TRP needs to keep you scared so you won’t leave.

This is what’s so frustrating about TRP. They’re scrabbling about making theories and inventing vocab to make themselves appealing. But they completely miss out on the most appealing qualities a person can have: inspiration, generosity, hospitality, etc. If you really nurture these qualities you don’t need SMV or an HB8 to validate you. I totally agree with the previous poster and I know it’s weird advice that sounds counterintuitive at first. Basically TRP encourages users to view women as a video game level to be unlocked to get what you want (usually sex). It’s probably best he doesn’t know about TRP. From anecdotal observation it’s possible that these attitudes, latent before, can rear their heads once men get married and/or have children. Amazing how this community so consistently feeds off the paranoid fear of an imaginary alpha male, who is just out of sight fucking all the women you want to fuck. It's a very vivid psychological projection of insecurity. So every woman in the world is owned by an alpha male? Yikes, what a yucky image.

Are you referring exclusively to financial stability? Traditionally, men provided financially while women took care of the family and household. Today there are plenty of parnterships where the woman is more career driven so the husband takes on a larger portion of the familial and household duties. If this arrangement works for both parties, I don't see why that's a bad thing. People can provide each other with more than just money.

I do see your point. It sounds like they aren't compatible because they have different ambitions for their lives, which is fine. But the OP seems weirdly focused on him as a financial resource, rather than as a person. Is this an FDS thing? It's one thing to leave someone because they don't have ambition. It's another thing to leave someone because their long term profit projections don't meet your minimum requirement. Weirdly cold. He's not a retirement fund, he's a person.

Also fantasy doesn’t always reflect what people want in their real life. There are tons of scenarios in porn that people find titillating to watch, but would be completely repulsive and weird in reality.

Woman here, I have called many guys “cute” who I was sexually attracted to or in a relationship with. It’s a gentler word than handsome or sexy so sometimes it feels less awkward to use. My use of the word at the time reflected my own awkwardness/shyness more than it reflected their level of manliness. The RP theory behind this word is vastly overstated. There are some truths in RP theory but ultimately, you get to choose through what lens you view the world. RP provides a lens based on dominanc…

What arrangement? It’s just helping each other when the other needs help. He’s helped me when I was overworked or broke. Not just with money but with emotional support and taking care of more household stuff. We’ve swapped roles many times. Not really a concrete thing that we could list out on paper.

Yea it’s a confusing question. My fiancé is starting his own business and quite broke at the moment but I believe in him and support him through this transition. At some point, I’ll probably hit a rough patch and he’ll pick up the slack. I love him as a person, not as a list of superficial signifiers like degree and salary. If you don’t respect a persons life plan/ambitions then you aren’t compatible in a relationship and that’s fine too. It’s not a mathematical formula.

Red pill would be the third reaction as feminism is a response to traditional patriarchal societal structures. Really, culture swings back and forth in an eternal dialectic so playing “who started it” isn’t ever going to be accurate or useful. And it’s not a strong argument to say that because one movement has started to become hateful, we can make excuses for a second, also hateful movement.

Whoa that makes sense. Attraction is so ephemeral, the first guy I was crazy for was my height and had a glass eye. He was so cool and attractive to me. The thing that bothers me about TRP is that all it’s strategies are focused on “winning” mind games against this type of women and then TRP men are indignant when only dramatic woman will play their crappy games. Girls with no appetite for drama will smell head games a mile away and steer clear.

TRP is determined to reduce romance to hard and fast “laws.” Ascribing value to an entire person is impossible, so age gives at least one hard value they can cling to when coming up with formulas for human interaction.

Society changes, improvements can be made. Sure society was structured that way for good reason at the time. I’ve really been trying to wrap my head around this aspect of TRP. On the one hand, many users are as you describe; obsessed w getting validation through sex, avoiding or manipulating relationships out of fear for their ego. To me, TRP is based too heavily on misanthropy and fear and its users bandy about too much cringey demeaning language for it to be worth it. The good parts of TRP can be found from other sources like stoicism, which have withstood the tests of time. But I’m curious what parts of TRP you feel are useful in building a healthy LTR/family life?
/r/ExRedPill19/10/20 10:34 AM

Well, it depends what you mean by “effective.” Effective at what? What are your goals? I think TRP has the wrong goals. It’s misguided. Many of the men in TRP seem to come from a broken family or have recently come out of their first bad breakup. They are afraid and want to protect themselves from pain and humiliation. TRP teaches them to hide behind techniques to avoid pain. They also want validation from women through sex. PUA teaches them tricks to get sex but real validation can’t come from …

It’s still dishonest and manipulative to be constantly playing mind games with your partner to try and “win” the relationship. This might work in the short term in some relationships. Some pieces of TRP are probably accurate sometimes. But I am a woman in a beautiful LTR and I read a lot about the red pill because I find it fascinating. Because red pill and PUA treat relationships like a competition where women are the competitor to be beaten. That is an unhealthy basis for even a casual relationship. PUA and red pill train young men to over analyze and hide themselves behind techniques. In a healthy partnership, even a casual one, both people should be on the same team. They should have mutual respect. Being a respectful supportive partner also takes practice and hard work. TRP and PUA won’t give you those skills.

For both men and women in a speed dating setting, looks are the most important factor in initial attraction. That doesn’t support your original claim that women are always trying to prove that only looks matter. Women in my experience are more likely to say that only self confidence matters.

I think the problem with the red pill is that there is some truth to their theories about women and it does “work” in some sense. Where is fails terribly is in a broader philosophical sense. Firstly, the patterns of manipulation identified by TRP do exist. But by fixating on these patterns and dedicated so much time and energy to “winning” these games, men of TRP build a self-fulfilling prophecy around themselves. There’s definitely a lot of projecting going on in red pill ideology. Anyone so determined to see the world as a hostile wasteland is really just carrying that feeling around inside themselves all the time. And blaming women and hiding behind these “techniques” is only going to further entrench that sadness. It’s why I’m not mad at red pillers and am more curious and concerned. They are quite desperate to protect themselves from pain.

Given the above information there’s no suggestion you did anything wrong. But we just don’t know. We do know this girl couldn’t be bothered to give you an explanation, which isn’t very kind. The other problem with questing for the ultimate “right” way to date is that it doesn’t account for human error in the women. It sounds like she …

With my fiance, I'm always curious what's going on in his head. It's a generalization but I think that women are more aware of their complex emotions than men, or are at least more conditioned to express them. Because my partner can be fairly stoic, it makes me feel like I'm always the crazy emotional one so it's a relief when I get a chance to help him with his emotions. It makes me feel useful in the relationship and it makes me feel close to him. I just love him and I like having a chance to …

What you should do is become a competent, useful, compassionate, fully realized human being. Become those things not so people will reward you with sex and attention but because those qualities are good for you, good for your community, and good for mankind. Get a higher goal than dates and sex.

The idea of a "chad" is mostly mythological. Sure, there are some who match that archetype but most people have insecurities, awkward phases, commit terrible social snafus, have at least one shit relationship. My dad used to tell me that at some point, you will be everything to someone. Meaning at some point you will be the most inconceivably intelligent person in the room. At another point you will be embarassingly idiotic compared to everyone else. You will be a natural at a group activity and…

Noooo, don’t give up on society! It’s far too early for that. It’s hard and it sucks and you won’t ever get enough credit but the other option is much worse. It takes a TON of work to keep our society running as well as it does and if good people start dropping out we’re doomed. Once you give up and drop out, your life becomes useless. I really believe work is holy. If you work hard for work’s sake, you will improve yourself and the world around you. Those improvements give life meaning, even wh…

Oh wow so you’ve got it coming from both sides; either too threatening or too weak. I do feel for black men that there seems to be this idea of a REAL black man, which doesn’t apply to any other race or even black women in the same way. What do you think are the differences between what your mom taught you and what society is like today?

It’s all a mixed bag; people are def more likely to help me because of how I look. But they are also more likely to assume I’m incapable. Generally speaking it doesn’t impede my life and while some feminism is useful to me, I think modern feminism overemphasises oppression and retaliation and underemphasises just becoming a competent, content human being. When I moved to a city, it was actually an Afro-Caribbean Neighborhood and the first person we made friends with was a big beautiful black man…

It’s such a tough one; I’m a relatively small white lady myself and am almost never perceived as threatening. But I’m also quite murderable. So I’d hate to get mugged or murdered because I was too polite to do anything when I thought I might be in danger. The flip side of this whole threatening coin is that people feel entitled to my time and space more often because I look like I’m out of a Disney movie so sometimes I have to get mean, even though it’s very uncomfortable to do. That said, when …

Because we don’t goddamn know this person and neither do you. You’re not in a position to diagnose him based on some reddit comments. He told a personal story and you decided not to believe him and got mad when he wouldn’t accept YOUR version of something that happened TO HIM and not you? Go outside, please. Maybe get some professional help yourself.

Looks like a young guy struggling with dating and his place in the world. Not exactly shocking on /r/exredpill. Sorry I’m not seeing what’s got you clutching your pearls.

He does have a point tho; just because he has a mental health issue doesn’t mean people can never treat him unfairly. I’m really confused why you felt the need to throw this mans mental health struggles in his face so hard when he came here to vent.

You are making a ton of terrible assumptions about this poster who has come here for help. You don’t know any more about the situation than anyone else. What reason do you have not to believe OP?

Hey mate, I’m sorry to hear your experiences have been rough and that other commenters here have jumped down your throat. I know other big black folks and they do have a hard time toning themselves down because they are perceived as more threatening. It’s definitely something that happens frequently to folks and even if it’s not overt reactions, small reactions from people all day every day can really wear you down. Do you have any people IRL you can talk to who relate to your experience?

I think it’s not unlike feminism; there’s some useful philosophy about how to modernise gender roles, how to assert yourself, how to achieve big goals, and then there’s the genuine belief that all men are evil and the cause of all bad things in the world. Some of its useful, some of it is just plain hate. TRP uses the same logic, just from the “other side.”

if women have super unrealistic standards for instance There are roughly 4 billion women in the world. 1 million seconds is 11.5 days. 1 billion seconds is 31.5 years. Thats a lot of women. Do you think an internet forum of inexperienced young men can possibly have the answer to your question? Is it even possible to answer your question?

Online, its very easy to get looped into certain communities and lose perspective. If you learn about women from TRP, you're learning from a very specific subset of men with a very specific experience of women. That experience might not be completely false, but it will be very specific and not a good representation of aaaaaall the other possibilities in relationships.

The thing is TRP is probably not 100 percent false. Women are picky maters compared to other species (sorry I know this sounds incely), and probably a lot of the techniques TRP describe do “work” in an aggressive dating environment when it comes to getting laid. But TRPs ultimate flaw is that it is built on fear and distrust. While many women probably do have some of the terrible qualities ascribed by TRP, many of them don’t. And assuming the worst of every woman and becoming obsessed with strat…

“Women love attention from as meny boys as they can get, they need external validation and to feel special.” This from an online community obsessed with the opposite sex and racking up body count? TRP wants to attribute all human foibles to “Women” exclusively. Everyone at some point craves attention and wants validation from the opposite sex.

I’m a woman and I ride my bike to work on Monday with a huge smile on my face cos I love my job so much. My partner is a Greco-Roman demigod in my eyes and we are really soul mates. I wouldn’t trade him or my life for anything in the world. And I know tons of men and women who are malcontented. It’s not exclusive to women. TRP seems to think that “Woman” is a video game you can finally win one day. Humans of every sort comprise a myriad of contradictory emotions and impulses. We can barely know …
