Oh man, I am sorry to hear that. I have personal experience with this. You've been given good advice thus far, I would suggest taking it. I have 11 years of sobriety and my wife is in and out of sobriety. It's a big reason why we are getting divorced. I would add: 1- Take a deep breath and tell yourself "what is best for my child?" My guess is that you'll need to do this quite a bit? 2- Look into some type of support group, there are plenty of them. Al-Anon helps with holding and enforcing stron…

Yea, that will come with time. I would recommend focusing on you and your needs. It's what has been working for me. So far, so good.

It's been my experience to take it one day at a time. I am in the beginning of the divorce process and trying to forecast out what could/should/will happen past today just becomes overwhelming. Do the best you can in the present. Start with the simple tasks. i.e. normal sleep, balanced diet, drink plenty of water, etc.... Accept that you're going to have bad days, but eventually the good days will overshadow the bad. You've got this!
