My son wanted to see it. Initially I didn't want to see a cgi movie and I am jaded against current war movies. Well we went to see it and I really enjoyed it. There were technical issues I could nitpick but the story was accurate for the most part. No wokeness that I could see.

I agree with Dopeboy. In my work either as business contacts or clients I know about a dozen men who are mgtow. Most are in their 40s or older. None of them afaik associate with other men who have gone their own way. They do not advertise or talk about it. I know they are from their comments and my personal knowledge. Dopeboy is spot on in his comments.

Yes I get the cringe feeling. I do the kindle unlimited on Amazon now and try to avoid those "cringy" books/authors. I have found a number of the fantasy/litrpg/gamelit russian authors to be somewhat better. I actually avoid the female authors now.

I deal with a number of clients. Some are mgtow even though they may not know the term. Over the past 4 decades there were several who are/were mgtow that passed away. In all cases when they passed away they did not have anyone designated to take care of them and all but one passed away with no one around them. The last one was getting into his truck when he died. He had about 70 acres of woods, had a newer barn that he had his travel trailer inside. He lived there in the barn/trailer. The one c…

“My real message is: Get over it,” Thomas said. “You know what respectful behavior is. If for some reason you’re still reticent, don’t use that as an excuse. There are easy ways to give women equal access and support.” The concluding line in the article stated by a woman. I am sorry as a business owner I am very careful. There are just too many horror stories of men losing their career due to an allegation. Society ignores due process and innocent until proven guilty in these cases.

Several decades ago I was going through a bad divorce. She had filed a CPO against me so I had moved in with my parents. I was not able to get my dog and when the divorce was almost over she told me(through the attornies) she had put the dog down claiming she(dog) had cancer. I asked for the name of the vet to confirm it but was never given or able to get it. It was my dog from prior to the marriage.

This needs to be fixed for what women look for in a man. Money should be 73.7% and Personality should be 2.5%. Also Looks should be readjusted for women with their concern for a minimum height.

My son recently was one of the groomsmen at a wedding. The groom had asked him to wear dress uniform. He was proud to do so and no one complained.

If it was a woman who had been cheated on and the man wanted to return to her I would say the same thing. Once the trust of the relationship has been violated do not trust that person or get back with that person. As for your title question, well duh this subreddit is for men. Obviously the men here would advise another man to avoid that woman.

I have been on and off low carb for the past 8 years or so. Lost weight and became more active. However at 56 I was still dealing with borderline high blood pressure. 10 months ago I went full Keto. I lost more weight but plateaued. So I started IF with it 16/8. Didn't help much. So I did IF 48 hours per week(5/2 days). That helped. I have dropped two pant sizes. It is my HBP where Keto helped. I focused on foods with high potassium that is recommend for Keto. BP is mostly normal and I am taking…

I have two sons from two different mothers. Both of the boys are in college. AFAIK neither of the boys have told their mothers about our discussions. The oldest is in medical school. He is the most receptive to these comments. However he believes he can find someone that is NAWALT. You can't fix stupid. Like myself and most men he will have to experience life's lessons. I had a similar situation with my best friend in 2008. He was a heavy kid in school and still was but he made alot of money which is why she married him. They were having their wedding in Miami. It was going to be expensive. However my mother had just died and I became my father's caregiver. So I had a valid excuse. However the fallout is in 2011 he stopped all contact with me at her request. His parents told me she left him and the divorce was final in 2014. He lost over half of his assets. He …

No I did not. At that time it never occurred to me. I was in my simp phase back then. Several months later the event occurred that ended our marriage. She was hitting her own daughter, had the girl trapped in a corner. I stopped her and told her we were done and the marriage was over. While I was at my car putting my cat into it to take to my parents for safety she locked me out of the house. I could hear her screaming and smashing my stuff with a sledge hammer. No to any violence on my part. I don't remember the resolution of those two incidents. There were so many arguments that after 3 decades it all blurs together. There was one time I did defend myself was when she attacked me and was choking/strangling me. I had to get her off of me(she was quite heavy at that time).

That actually happened to me years ago. A woman's little dog attacked me on the sidewalk when I was a block away from my parent's home. Ripped through my sock but did not break the skin. She stood at her door and yelled for the dog which ran back to her. She gave me a dirty look. I left thinking nothing of it. A Postman nearby saw it and called the police. He knew who I was so they tracked me down at work. The police made sure I was okay and made the woman apologize to me.

I didn't go to mine and that was over 30 years ago. Rural area with only 129 kids in my class. 83 were boys. The other grades has similar breakdowns. Of the 46 available girls well they knew they had it good. A good number of them had boyfriends outside of the school so the available number was smaller. No they broke up in the summer of 2016. She did her damage to him. She accused him of being suicidal and homicidal to campus PD. They took him into custody and had him committed to a psych ward. The school was going to kick him out. Luckily the officer who arrested him had his cell phone. She was texting my son about her revenge and what she did to him. The officer read that. My experience is over several marriages over the past 3 decades and 3 children. This is true especially the first marriage. I don't know if this is a form of control or what by the woman. With young children you may have to cut back on the hobbies or change to a different hobby for the change in life but IMO should not have lose ALL of them. Your partner should respect your hobbies since they are a release for the person. Recent experience with my one adult son and his relationship she made him …

Sounds like me in High School and College. That was in the late 70's and early/mid 80's. Didn't have Tinder but very similar experiences. I was 108 pounds starting college and 127 pounds when I graduated. Tall and skinny which was more typical then for guys. I didn't even rate a look from those girls in their preppy clothes. I was talking to a business person in my town. He was set to retire in 10 years. He now had to take full custody of his grandchildren. His daughter is a heroin addict and was shot on drug deal gone bad. She is now in prison. He has given up on her and will not speak with her. He told me he cannot retire now and will be working until at least the age of 79 to support his grandkids and see them through college.

For me it was over two decades ago. I had filed for divorce and then found out she was with a coworker of hers. Also she was pregnant by him. The Judge made her state out loud in court that the baby was not mine. Honestly when I found out I was not hurt. I was somewhat relieved that the psycho had latched onto someone else.

Good advice. I had similar circumstances younger but I am over 2 decades ahead of you. I was very young looking. Women ignored me. However being blue pilled in the 80s and 90s I married a landwhale at 33 that was manic depressive. The warning signs were there but I ignored them. I Had a child with her and was divorced less than two years after my son was born. I paid and paid for that. Now I am free of those obligations as of 5 years ago. I wish I had known what you know now.

The answer is you can't at this time. You can embrace certain aspects of going mgtow but the courts will for the next two decades make you pay CS and various expenses. If you leave your employment that results in a lower wage the court will likely jail you depending on jurisdiction. Congrats you have or will become a legal indentured servant. Once this ends in the 2030's or 2040's you can be free to live your own life. I speak from experience going through this in 1990's and now free for several…

I am a Baby Boomer born in 1963 at the tail end of the group. I will need to keep working until I estimate I am 70 to 76. The marriage and divorce I had in the 90's destroyed what I had going. Unfortunately the ex would not get my name off the property and one vehicle when she was supposed and while I went to court in the 2000's to fix that the vehicle was repo'd and the home foreclosed. So my credit was destroyed. Throw in CS and other expenses I was "required" to pay I have only started or was…

From the man's viewpoint there is very little to have children. Men face indentured servitude until the child is 18 or some cases till 26. Failure to comply means jail. The man loses control of being a parent to said children. From the woman's viewpoint it is a guarantee of obtaining resources with little control of how she uses those resources. There is little or no penalty for her. I have been trying to get my two college sons to listen this. One is and the other is not.

I played with toy guns as a child in the late 60's and early 70's. I feel overall my generation didn't turn into a genocidal nightmare. The violent crime rate in the UK for the past decade has been 1100+/100k. This is per their Home Office and now the ONS. In the US the violent crime rate for the past decade has been around 400/100k. This is per the Unified Crime Report by the FBI. So the UK's violent crime rate is 3 times higher than the US. I wonder why?

As a paying consumer I will likely not chose to see this. I read someplace that women make up 80% of paying consumers. However movies for decades and currently I suspect men were much higher than 20%. With movies such as Ghostbusters 2016, Solo, and others that are crashing is a result of men exercising their right to go their own way as a consumer.

In my business I have and have had a number of female employees. The best one is still with us after 24 years. She shows up a half hour early and gets her workload done usually by lunch. Over 20 years ago my first wife gained weight after the birth of our son, sex died out(I just couldn't anymore with that whale), and she yelled at me all the time. I left her, divorced her, met and married a Russian woman. She saw my new wife when we met to exchange our son. The shock on her face was priceless. My new wife in body was 9/10 and with make up 9/10(without makeup 7/10). The ex then was telling people I was having an affair with this woman while we were married. Yep I got on a plane …

An old sports buddy of mine did it in the 1990's and 2000's. He would go to scifi cons with his outfits. His entire basement had equipment for his hobby. Since he retired at 34 this was his passion. I didn't know about mgtow at that time but he fit the definition. One of his outfits made it on a PC video game box. He was hired by a prophouse in Hollywood and the last we spoke he had worked on a number TV and movies.

I purposely have not read the book prior to seeing the movie. I will read it after this weekend. This book was one of the early ones in the new Litrpg genre. A number of the litrpg books are not female empowered especially those from the Russian authors. Of course in those books most of the main characters are hard drinking smokers that the beautiful women swoon over.

My blood pressure goes up in the winter. Usually January is when I see it getting above 140/90. I take D3 5000 during this time. It helps but not enough. Usually I will go to Vegas in February or early March. I actually go outside of Vegas to hike the canyons there in Nevada or Arizona. The sun and hiking lower my BP far better than D3.

I grew up with Star Wars. Saw the first movie as a teen. After TFA I will not watch anymore of them. Saw a report last night that the TLJ net is only $229mil after production costs/marketing and other expenses out of the $1.3bil that it has made. The dismal toy sales were not factored into those numbers. With what they paid George Lucas and assuming a 5% return annually they need to profit of $659mil each year for ten years. They made it with TFA and Rogue One the first year. This year with TLJ …

I agree with the comments on this. Another issue is what happened to the boys section over the decades. They took away traditional boys interests and feminized some of the toys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcDb5F5hHHs This youtube video the guy has been ranting about what Disney did to Star Wars. However his videos show the feminization of boy's toys. This specific vid shows dolls in the same area. When you irritate half of your potential customers they will choose to go their own way.

As an older man with two sons in college, I am worried for them. I wonder when does this end and how far will it go? I was a child of the 1960's to the mid 70's. I almost did it in 1995. My son had been born and was 4 months old when my then-wife wanted to visited family in the south and then drive from there to Orlando. It was a horrible trip.
