Sources? Genuinely curious to read them.

You want to contact a larger counseling clinic with a number of therapists/counselors, and ask for "someone who is good with men and likes them". I saw one who worked with prisoners and did other kind men's group work and was quite helpful.

Another point of dread is that if she accuses you of being unfaithful or something is to say: "You do realize that you're the only woman I've been trying to sex up." Points out to them that you have been loyal, and are currently loyal, but if continued to be hounded about loyalty, may not continue to be loyal.

Interesting situation to be in, as long as you keep doing the things that demonstrate your value to her, you should be fine. Again, here's the link for the book: https://www.amazon.ca/Married-Man-Life-Primer-2011/dp/1460981731 Very good reading and advice. He has a blog too and a coaching service if you're interesting in deeper self improvement.

It's still about maintaing value. My wife gave me a terrible time the other day about working on my M.Sc in the evenings. Yelling and screaming at me first thing in the morning after I was a bit grumpy with her for feeding the kids late in the morning before school. I coldly said, "When you yell at me like this, it makes me realize that one day I can just walk out the door and never come back." That didn't shut her up and she was still growly. I finally just said, " You do not make me happy enou…

Have you read Married Man's Sex Life by Athol Kay? In his blog there is also some advice for men who make less than their wife. The trick is be Alpha in all the other ways you can be. Some women really don't seem to mind making more than their husband - if - and big if - it was expected before they got married.

I think this is part of the problem - few girls are actually taught how to do these things. They learn how and then having a baby seems a lot less scary.

Speaking as a married guy with 4+ Children... I wonder if the wife has Post Partum Depression. My wife developed it mildly after baby 1, but baby 2 and onward it became a deeper and more enduring problem. We tried to manage as best we could, but man did it ever completely tank her sex drive and lead to human blow up doll sex / starfish sex. (She literally just lays there does nothing, and kissing her was like kissing an unresponsive corpse.) My solution: 1. Declaring the sex was so awful that I …

I remember talking to my Great Aunt about this actually. She said, after being alive for 82 years that, "Frankly, some women just get off on having their husband diddle their daughters."

It's linked to the state of the whole education system. More women get better marks in high school, so more of them go to university. Even though men dominate stem as a whole, biology, the main pre med is female majority (60% or so). Women get better GPAs, and so get accepted into med schools more.

I'm curious if this is because of changes in law? What might be driving this change?
/r/TheRedPill21/07/16 01:36 AM
1

Exactly. House/condo prices are getting too high, and the wages are getting lower, therefore, homeownership amongst youth will decrease. The question of course is, who is buying all the houses then?
/r/TheRedPill20/07/16 03:59 AM
1

I'm seeing a larger trend where I live, of people buying multi-generational houses so the grandkids don't have to be brought up in an apartment or condo.

That said, it's a cultural thing, and relative. There's "I'm sorry" and "I'm sorry", one of which means more than the other, you know eh?

Dude, it sounds like you need to read some Athol Kay books and his old blog and up your married man game. Your issues are reflective of your own faults as well as hers.

This story is so epic - this woman is so stupid that even people who are not red pill think she's hilariously dumb. I told my family this story at a dinner recently had everyone in tears.
/r/TheRedPill01/07/16 04:02 AM

It still wouldn't be 100% - the people who work in such places would eventually get bribes and offers to forge results, or maybe a doctor calling on "behalf of the family" to "ask a favor". I do think your solution is the best one, but to think you are 100% secure is foolish.

Dude, sounds like you need to read some Athol Kay and develop red pill long term relationship skills. I don't recommend his forums in particular, but his book "Married Man's Sex Life", and get into his coaching program if you can afford it. The army thing was bad enough, but the second marriage was entirely your fault she left you.

Out of 34 replies the ones quoted are not even the top replies. It is reasonable to ask "Are you sure you married the right woman?" In this kind of situation. It is not a shaming question. People were even helpful in the thread, I don't get the bile here.

No, this is not normal marriage counseling behavior. It is normal to have seperate and joint sessions. However - I do agree that usually the counselors are more likely to be on the woman's side than the man's.

At a certain point, a woman is either loyal to you, or not. It's a certain kind of maturity thing too, to just commit to someone.

The best kind of mate guarding is fairly subtle. Of course, no mate guarding, at all, is often worse than none. It's a messed up game.

Sounds like you were way too busy with work to pay attention to her, and so she got bored, unhappy and moved on. Most guys would move on in a situation like this. Date better quality women who don't drink. And yes, being cheated on absolutely sucks, no one, male or female deserves that.
/r/TheRedPill14/05/16 04:46 PM

I agree. Lots of guys posting their heartbreak stories... REading between the lines, or they just outright admit it, continuous employment problems, don't clean, cook or help around the house at all... Can't fix anything in their house/apartment, too much time on the computer/video games avoiding real life. Very reasonable women will still leave guys like that for a normal guy who actually has his shit together.

It really depends on the woman too though - and your network of friends. If you have friends , or she has friends who get divorced, then yes, can be a problem. They're some of the friendliest women I've ever met.

Women like that are just toxic. Go to the south pacific and find a nice girl who actually likes men. Fijian women are great.

Some of us did get married and have kids years before TRP was an option or even known or discussed. All the anti marriage shit makes me wonder what kind of slags guys here have married. If you scrape the bottom of the barrel, don't be surprised it doesn't work out.

I'd love to see a follow up post to this at some point in the future. I think you've captured a family dynamic here that really is at the front line of all the stuff we talk about on the forum here.

Sorry to be harsh on you - I didn't realize the full context until your reply. I realize with family and people who you can't go nuclear on, the solution ALSO has to be subtle. I recommend bringing this up with your male relatives and HIGHLY suggest at least, not at first, talking to the women about it. It's one thing to change how you, yourself act, but as the RP truth is, you can't just whine at people that they're being mean and expect them to behave better.

Frankly, you and the men in your family are doing your grandfather a huge disservice. You have an obligation to call out their awful disrespectful behavior and need to get your other male relatives onside. I'm ashamed to read this story of your inaction.

Except when they're in their late 40s and early 50s, then they really, really admit it. :P LIke my coworker "It's just so relaxing being in my 50s, no men look at me whatsover. I can just wear what I want, do my hair, as long as I look professional, no one gives a shit. Men haven't looked at me in 5 years, and that's ok, I'm old!" IMO - this woman, while old, was super fit, super athletic, looked feminine for 50 and thought she was an old landminewhale. However, I give her real credit for being …

Athol Kay wrote a great blog post on this back in the day. I can't find it quickly via google, but his main point was that a man has to demonstrate value all the time. If he's not making money, then the house better be super clean, all things repaired and working, stay physically fit and still have frame and dominance in the bedroom and day to day.

Cutting porn likely helped just as much as the fleshlight and stopping masturbating. Since you tried two things at the same time, it's hard to say which one worked.

This list means you are not applying game correctly in your marriage and that is your own fault. Athol Kay has written on how to fix all of that.

Agreed. Part of the problem is marriage is completely over hyped for women, so when it isn't as good as they thought they hey are upset about it.

Don't get me wrong, she just wants a man with clear and obvious baggage who will treat her badly who is also an alpha. Her brokenness affects what kind of displays she will perceive to be alpha.

Frankly - a chic like this will find any normal guy, alpha or not, boring. She is already seriously fucked up and emotionally damaged. She needs a guy who her limited self esteem can handle.

Isn't part of the problem that Kevin never asked for any money upfront? Also not clear to me, did Kevin send them the purchase request without getting paid, or did they just leave him hanging?

What is the original reddit thread?

Wow - even the comments on the original thread are fairly on point. It does emphasize though That guys should be more romantically forward and escalate things earlier. It probably surprised her completely. I think this guy does have "nice guy" tendencies, all the stuff he did for her really sounds like a covert contract. Covert contracts are not game.

I went to art therapy for a few months in high school. I'm not sure how solid the science is, but the basic idea was to get me doing something with my hands to detach me from my bad feelings so I could look at my problems more rationally while talking to someone. It is also really good for some people who know they need help, but have so many hangups about revealing intimate details about themselves that standard therapy (conversational) won't work.
