Shit sorry that was a bad choice of words my b I should've had a bit more tact when talking about this. I do hope you understand that all of yesterday when I made this post I had people attacking me while I was trying to discuss with them it was incredibly hard to think straight. I 100% meant something else than what I had actually said I just can't remember what I had meant

They probably thought I was a troll, same as a lot of people here

100% I totally agree with you. I'm enby but for a solid 18 years I identified as a man so I get how bad toxic masculinity feels

Exactly yeah alot of people are in it for their own gain and it sucks because it invalidates the points the side is trying to make. It's kinds like all the dudes here who have been purposefully calling me mentally ill and misgendering me.

Nope I've been honest the whole time I've been busy for most of my day and don't totally have time to do stuff like that. Also I don't know what OpenDyslexia is, I normally have my partner read stuff to me or I have my reader app on my computer. Srry I seem fake to you

I always have been for equality. My whole point as I stated is really to just solve everyone's issues not just men's or women's or trans folks or enby's or anyone else's. But to solve them all and treat everyone as equal. Anyone who is fighting for equal rights should be fighting to make everyone equal not just their side.
/r/MensRights11/05/22 04:15 AM

I hate those ones yuh if anything is anti man or anti woman or anti lgbt or anything of the sort I don't like them. My whole point is we really should put differences aside and work together to solve all issues instead of just one sides issues.

Oh fuck yeah I should change that in my post, I'm not kidding when I say it genuinely doesn't say removed when I look at it on my profile, a dude I'm currently talking to showed me lol I think it was because they thought I was a troll like a lot of people here thought I was.

I named the issues and you just said nah I feel like you've just ignored the issues at hand instead of having a discussion. The issues I laid out are not meant to invalidate men's issues but to bring light women have issues too. The first one I brought up you immediately went competition mode and said "men have it worse" since they do we should band together to solve that not just get angry online like you are. I talked here to bring up the idea of working together to solve these issues and you …

Women are murdered in the middle east for having a ripped hymen which can be caused by more than just sex Women in the US are misdiagnosed with mental illness because doctors blame hormones for issues that go deeper than that In the US Women are denied abortions in two states even if they would die giving birth to the child That good enough for you? Ignoring women's issues like you're doing doesn't help men's issues it only hurts them. This was never a competition of who has it worse. It's a pos…

Bodily autonomy is about being able to control what happens to your body and make decisions based on what you believe is beat for your body. It also includes being able to tell people to not touch you and what medical procedures can and can not happen to you. With that being said, you're not allowed to tell people no if they grab your crotch? You're never allowed to say I don't want this surgery or I want to get this tattoo? You can't do that? That's really sad
/r/MensRights11/05/22 12:53 AM

Lotta people have been using the fact that not all feminists don't want equality between all genders But a lot of people here have been purposefully misgendering me and saying all other genders are mental illnesses instead of mentioning the point The lack of sincerity is real

I'm trying to be calm and in all my interactions I have been and I've never called anyone ignorant, or dumb, or rude in any light but have instead been agreeing and giving my points. You came in with vitriol and basically just tried to invalidate anything ive had to say by proposing a false equivalency that I am like the extremists who I have also stated I dislike. You see why I decided to respond?

I still think feminism is for equality between genders. I do like your analogy. If because I'm a feminist it invalidates my point of gender equality then I guess it invalidates the point of anybody who fights for gender equality and aligns themselves with a group who's name does match.
/r/MensRights10/05/22 09:24 PM

I'm a feminist because the main goal of feminism is equality for all genders. If saying that offends you pretend I'm egalitarian.

I still think they're about equality even after reading what you've said. If it's the case then it seems like the people who use feminism to do this aren't feminists but people who use the title to do as they please. My point has always been all sides have issues and all sides need to work together to solve them.
/r/MensRights10/05/22 08:03 PM

I'd love to read that but I have dyslexia and the specific font that's written in genuinely is impossible for me to read. Can you sum it up for me please? If not that's fine I can find another way to read it.

Women are viewed as sex objects In the middle east and some east Asian countries they're killed when they're born Women are actively persecuted when they're in positions of power Women in politics and specific job fields are treated as if they're useless Women are more likely to be misdiagnosed with mental illness than men because of hormones Dont say Women done have issues or minimize them even though men have issues
/r/MensRights10/05/22 07:48 PM

The suicide rate is because a large portion of society believes they should die and has stripped away their rights. Its almost as if society is against you, you feel extremely depressed and maybe want to die. Kinda like what happens with men... Not here to debate that as I said all sides have issues and all sides need them to be solved in order for everyone to be equal to eachother. If everyone just got along I think it would help way more than hurt.
/r/MensRights10/05/22 07:37 PM
-9

I never said that doesn't happen...
/r/MensRights10/05/22 07:21 PM
-1

My point is all sides have issues and that to solve the issues we would need to work together and have open and honest conversation as calmly as possible. I've never denied issues of any side and think that solving them together not just separate is the best solution
/r/MensRights10/05/22 07:17 PM
-9

All sides have issues and I agree men have issues I've never said men don't. You sound incredibly angry and frustrated (not to mention transphobic but that's besides the point) But I believe the solution to all these issues is solving all of them having open and honest conversations and being as calm as possible. It's worked before why wouldn't it work now?
/r/MensRights10/05/22 07:14 PM
-10

My point was to ask if people could agree all sides have issues. If you don't why would you comment?

-11

Why does that last bit matter?
/r/MensRights10/05/22 04:41 PM

Thanks for clearing that up but they're extremists which ask any feminist with half a brain. They'll agree they're not feminists there terrible people who believe they're superior for being women.
/r/MensRights10/05/22 04:40 PM
-1

Anyone can oppose those laws men can too so I'm going to ask you one more time how does it tie into feminism? Is it because women are doing it? If that's the case then as I stated there extremists who believe they can do no wrong because they're women and that's not what feminism is at all. Ask any feminist who has half a brain and they'll agree that it's wrong. So again how does it tie into feminism.
/r/MensRights10/05/22 04:39 PM

Again I'm asking, how dies it tie in with feminism. As I stated this sounds like people who are extremists and radicals trying to destroy inequality. As I had said I agree with you that it's a terrible thing but can you quote for me how
/r/MensRights10/05/22 04:35 PM
-2

What does it have to do with feminism? I agree that's a terrible thing to be happening. But how does it tie into feminism? That feels more like radicals trying to stay radical and promote inequality like the GOP

My point at the moment is we're discussing what issues women do have. I do apologize for not making that clear. Again as I had said I believe all sides have issues I'm just discussing issues that women do have in order to reach a common ground. I want to keep discussing but I thought what I had stated was common knowledge that's my mistake. Unfortunately now I'm getting a large number of people accusing me of being a man hater and it's getting slightly overwhelming so my thoughts aren't entirely…

Again what's the point of showing me that, I agree with you that men have issues. My point is all sides have issues that need to be solved. There are feminists who participate in misandry and there are also men who participate in misogyny. I believe all sides should treat eachother as equal and that any issues that exist should be resolved as best as possible.
/r/MensRights10/05/22 04:21 PM

I never said I don't think men have issues and I also never said that feminists don't hold those biases as discussed in what you shared. My point is that all sides have issues and all sides should be resolved

Part of the issues that women have at the moment is that women similarly to men are treated as nubskulls who are there to exist as breeding sows. There are people who believe this and believe women who don't want sex or children are mentally ill. Another is that basic health care is being denied for women at the moment with roe v wade the issue is states can choose to ban abortion and if they do some states can still legally persecute these women who have gotten an abortion. Currently Alabama ha…

Would you agree with me that there are issues that are effecting women. This isn't putting men's issues down but I want to reach a common ground because while I agree with you on your points it's clear you don't agree with me on my points. Whether it be that I'm a moron or that I'm not making my points clear enough (I have Autism it happens sometimes) My point is that both sides have issues and instead of one side bashing the other that both sides should work together to solve these issues Regar…

I'd like it better if your source was from someone who studies feminism and not another redditor but if that's what you base your idea of feminism on I'll bite. Feminism as it's defined is equality between all genders. I believe we can agree that the extremists which are man haters and T.E.R.Fs (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminists) are the one we don't like. Lots of feminists I know personally understand the issue that men are treated as unfeeling numbskulls who rape and kill and that's simply …

I feel like you shouldn't be fighting then right? If you want change I feel like a discussion is in order instead of a fight? Because while actions do speak louder than words, a calm discussion does the same. Alot of this subreddit seems like men drooling over women getting some comeuppance and that seems less like solving men's issues and more like making more women's issues. Would you agree or disagree?

THIS! I've been waiting to finally find a post on this sub That's actually about anti feminism I've been waiting at least a month All I've been able to see is blatant sexism, and people wishing they could live in the 1920's

The idea was always a discussion not an argument. Some people did want to argue here when all I was doing was asking a question. As I said I think feminism is a good thing, but I do recognize extremists when I see them. Additionally I follow the actual rule of feminism which is equality for all genders. Which extremists ignore.

Something like using feminism as an excuse for hate. Or using it to do whatever you want, like how some women use feminism as a way to grope men. Or how some women use feminism as an excuse to be nude in public. I don't wanna see you naked, not because I'm sexist, but because I don't wanna see someone naked.

I agree with you on that, I'm mostly making this point because I've had so many people say they have the same idea as me and you. But then say something like women deserve to be beaten. I kinda asked because of that lol. But again I 100% agree with you.
/r/AntiFeminists30/01/22 05:37 PM

All I'll say is feminism is supposed to make equality for all genders. Everyone I think wants equality and deserves it. I do actually agree a lot of feminists nowadays actually want to force women into a specific woman bubble of powerful and strong. Not everyone wants to do that, and you can be equal to someone even if you're not powerful and strong. It actually seems like I agree with a lot of the people on this sub for that idea alone. I actually have a wife and son and so I get your point. Al…

Okay we won't get anywhere here. I gave my points and I agree with your rebuttals. I never said feminize men, I said help break gender norms for men because all gender norms suck. That's all I said never said feminize men, I also said that it helps men who have been raped come out about it. A lot of people don't believe men when they say they were raped. Just realized I asked a shit question. Idk what I meant to say I think I wanted to ask would you rather it be pro women or pro everyone. Which it actually seems I agree with you for the most part of. There are people who disguise themselves as pro women who are anti men. Those people are disgusting. So it seems like you draw the line at extremist. Maybe you don't like the term feminism which I can get ofc but you don't disagree with the ideals am I correct or wayyyyy out of proportion?

That's not what I asked. I asked where you draw the line. Gonna guess you just don't like feminism. Germany has recently made female circumcision illegal and is working to make male circumcision illegal as well. So is the UK, and a few other countries. All domestic abuse shelters are gender inclusive. Why would you want a gender specific place for it when it's not a gender specific issue? The article literally says the judge knows he raped the girl. This isn't a question of if he did or didn't. This is a question of, why did the judge let this man go when HE FUCKIN KNEW THIS GUY DID IT. There was chat logs, pics, and video evidence that he raped this 12 year old. AND THE JUDGE LET HIM GO. Holy fuck did you not read the article? Or did you just assume he was innocent because you read he is a man and of course the title is misleading because the media hates men.

He was acquitted for being immature. Think for three seconds An adult was told they're immature so they don't get punished in a rape case. But a 12 year old who is not mature and not able to make adult decisions was considered to be mature enough to know the consequences and legally punished. Think for three seconds and tell me that makes sense.

/r/AntiFeminists27/01/22 02:56 PM

The article is about the guy raping the girl. Not guessing anything. If the roles were reversed it's still rape and all rape is bad no matter what gender. You seem less upset that someone was raped and more upset that someone is saying a man raped a little girl which is really fucking weird. (Also moreover was used incorrectly try also you'll seem smarter)
/r/AntiFeminists27/01/22 12:45 PM

So if you were raped by an adult. Went to court. And the adult said well judge they look 25 and the judge then went oh well I guess you weren't raped kid sorry that's the rules. You wouldn't be mad? You wouldn't be outraged at all? Also tf you talking about, she is a literal 12 year old girl, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say she looks 12. And even if she did lie about her age So what she was raped.

That's my entire point. I was pointing out how it feels very weird that he got away scratch free and the 12 year old girl was the one being punished. Lotta people in the comments were being weird saying, I've seen 12 year Olds who look 20, and to that I say that's really fuckin creepy

Here let's argue Rape isn't a gendered issue Everyone has the capacity to be raped we can agree If we can agree on that can we agree that all rape is rape? I can also agree with you that in cases of statutory rape women are more favored than men there is evidence for this However you can not deny that a 20 year old man raping a 12 year old girl multiple times is 100% an insanely moronic action that should be punished. I don't care that this girl lied, I cared that this girl was raped. My title i…

Cool, the links are all lies and the proof is in the pudding on check who wrote them, they're all sexist men who wrote them, inflamed the numbers and made sure they were proven right. In the UK granted most abuse cases are women being the abuser but I'm every case the woman gets her just deserts. But in the UK when a guy does it most cases are swept under the tug, statistically 45%. Think for a second too by the way. THIS MAN RAPED A 12 YEAR OLD GIRL MORE THAN ONCE HOW IS THIS OKAY

Lying is bad I never said it was good. I agree a 12 year old shouldn't be on a dating app. But guess what it happened and the dude should've known better. Again lying is bad. But rape is WAY FUCKING WORSE MORON. So instead of focusing on the lying, you should focus on the fact that a grown man raped a 12 year old holy shit.

Yeah it is holy fuck that's horrendous. And if they are that dumb to not go further to check then they shouldn't be making porn in the first place. Morally anyone having sex with someone underage is rape no matter the circumstance. All rape is rape and it should be treated as such. And "poor guy" nah why does he wanna fuck a teen if he's in his twenties? That's insanely gross, he should've looked for someone his own age now someone who is 19. It's HIS fault that he raped a 16 year old, no ifs an…

I agree she committed a crime. But the men aren't blameless I'm the situation regardless of the lie. They raped her and that's morally and legally. Regardless of if she lied there are many different ways they could have checked. You know like going through the legal system instead of just trusting what's in front of them. Again she isn't blameless and committed a crime, but in no way shape or form should the men be acquitted of what they've done. They have committed a crime as well and should be…

Cool, more than one way to skin a cat. They should take every precaution to make sure they're not doing anything illegal. Either way its hella fuckin creepy that the porn industry glorifies sex with teens. Also this is a 12 year old, like a genuine 12 year old a child. This dude somehow looked at her saying she is 16 and went yeah checks out. You can ALWAYS find out someone's age. Idk what point you're making but she was raped and that's it. Neither should 16 year Olds. You're ignoring the fact that the 12 year old was raped, and thr 16 year old raped her. You're ignoring the fact that there is no fucking universe where a 12 year old looks like an adult. No way no how. I don't give a fuck that she lied, I don't give a fuck that she learned a lesson, I don't give a fuck that the dude learned a lesson. I do however give a fuck that this dude is in fact a rapist, and the girl was raped. Ignoring the fact that you just victim blamed thi…

Omfg, you're focused on the fact that she lied. I'm focused on the fact that she was raped. I think one of these is wayyyyyy more important to the situation than the other. She lied, he should've known she lied, if you're not smart enough to know how to figure out she lied then you shouldn't be on tinder. That's my point, I don't give a fuck that she lied, I do however give a fuck that she was raped.

YES HOLY FUCK YES, he should've just abandoned it holy fuck. Do yoy not get that? The little girl is a little girl who doesn't know any better. The guy is 16 and should know not to have sex with a 12 year old. Even if she was somehow a really good liar it should've been obvious she is 12. Regardless he should also not be on tinder either if he is 16, you're supposed to be 18 to use it.

We kinda can't keep kids off of stuff like that. So adults should have the forethought to notice when something is weird. Ngl I don't think a 12 year old looks like a 16 year old. Either way if you're gonna have sex with someone you should know to ask about their age. Hold on, do you think gender and sex are the same thing? Also that small percentage is genuine proof that more than 3 genders exist. Don't minimize things to prove a point. Gender is identity Sex is genetic makeup Both can be changed and altered You're ignoring new science for old science If sex is what's important to you, you're ignoring the human, are you a genuinely heartless person? So here's the thing right. I decided to look up what you said. Now I will not deny there will be people who take advantage of it. But the people that do take advantage of it normally get punished for it. You ignored that part. And either way it's not feminists it's Fascists who do this who pretend to be feminist, saying a feminist is like a nazi would be like me saying that Betty White is like Harvey Winestein because she knew him yknow.

That definitely is genocide but I'm gonna take a wild guess that, that is the cause of racism not feminism. Like 99.999% sure racists caused that. The idea of feminism is equality for all genders and it started off that way but has branched into other races. I don't get the hate for feminism, I get the hate for fascists but pointing fingers at feminism feels like looking at someone getting beaten by a cop then blaming criminals for making cops violent.

Trans people can be excluded from political position for being trans. And trans men can be denied pre natal treatment due to the fact that they identify as men not women. Additionally until the 1980's it was completely legal to kill trans people due to the some specific laws excluding them. In the 1990's the US had b…

Calm down breathe repeat what you said slowly. You're right people will hear feminism and believe it's only for women. But real good feminists who know what it truly means are fighting for all genders. This subreddit conveniently ignores that. Real quick, your argument is ignoring the fact that other women experience discrimination. Women need feminism to continue to keep the equality that you're experiencing. Let's use an extreme example. Let's say someone tells you they've been raped and you say well I've never been raped so you've never been raped. Or the whole covid thing of I've never gotten it so it doesn't exist. Feminism is a requirement so women who do face inequality can regain that equality can have it. By denying feminism …
