Walk around late at night with headphones on and blasting music, because we’re afraid attackers might come up behind us. Lol, this is something they warn everyone of all genders not to do. I walk around at night with my headphones on all the time and I periodically look behind me to make sure no one's trying to pull a fast one.

I have a dumb question. I always hear about how violence against women is an epidemic. Seeing the murder stats in this image, and even though most men are killed by other men, if violence against women was really that big of an epidemic(at least in America), then wouldn't the murder rate for women by closer to or surpass the rate for men?

I think this mom is doing a good job. All of the people who are saying that she's wrong for wanting her son to be extra cautious must be fine with men being falsely accused of rape and losing friends, family, jobs, and scholarships. If it were a woman asking a man for a text to show consent, no one would even bat an eye.

most American prsions don't rehabilitate. They make people worse, and then turn them loose into the streets. Some of the other countries like Norway or Sweden have the right idea when it comes to prison, because they don't lock you in a cage and abuse you like an animal.
