I have linked a post from /r/feminism so we can also see this discussion. I believe that the best way to overcome bad feelings about each other is openness and discussion. So please be polite to each other (this is the same message they have recieved).

meh, I think it's ok for advertising (still seems a little off and uhh... unsafe). Sometimes (read as most of the time) advertising needs to advertise to specific groups of people and not others.

Exactly, but a child will not understand the severity of that, especially at 4.

adult != a 4 year old. Both are wrong, one of them should be held to a harsher standard as they're an adult.

I would like to disagree. I would have to think that a child of 4 (not reaching any age of sexual thought yet), would not understand the implications of touching another kid's private parts. Rape is forcefully committing unwanted sexual acts with an unwilling participant. This sounds far more like assault than rape. WebMD (and while I understand that WebMD is by no means a legitimate source, it gives a general view), states that 4-5 year olds will develop the following abilities: Speak clearly u…

Not so. I think you may be confused on what egalitarian means, it doesn't mean "Believe any problem somebody says they have." I mean I have to automatically disagree with the list she wrote, she addressed it to all men. Its like when people say, "teach men not to rape", it's terribly insulting to think that all men do this bad thing or that bad thing. I'm not even saying that all the items on her list were unreasonable, I just had to disagree with addressing it to all men.

Or, maybe, just because I reversed a list that some crazy person made, does in fact not list out what I believe. I am personally egalitarian and want everyone to be treated equally. Moreover, not every comment on every post needs to be completely serious, sometimes it's OK to have a laugh at dumb things and reversing those things can help bring out how dumb they are. I do also support women's rights, in fact, I happen to be a woman who likes other women. Most of us (I say most, because statistic…

Reversed, yo. Hey women, what are you planning to do better? Because you need to do better. Here are ideas on how you should treat men better. Talk to your friend who is “kind of a creep” at work Don’t talk over men. If you are asked to be on a panel/team and see that it’s all women, say something. Maybe even refuse the spot! When you see another girl talk over a man, say: “Hey, he was saying something.” Learn to read a fucking room. Don’t call men “crazy” in a professional setting. Don’t use yo…

I was saying stuff along the lines of, "Women should be treated equally to men both in rights and responsibilities. Such that if a man and a woman are both drunk and have sex, both are in the wrong, not just the man." And they took exception to that. That some other stuff.

Well uhm, I'm a woman... And I happen to be attracted to women, so uh, I think most of them are pretty great. The thing is, Men's Rights is a place to talk about problems men face in life and to receive support. For some people this is the only place they can go and I think some guys here can be bitter, especially after losing stuff like access to their children and then still needing to pay child support for the kid they can't see. Another frequent topic here is the hypocrisy of feminism and th…

Wait, can't you use sender verification? Like how ups has a, "you must sign for this to verify you got it, before I give it to you" insurance policy. Then, you could just keep the slips for evidence of arrival?

What? Being transgender and lesbian? I'm technically a guy right now, I'll be going to a doctor soon who'll prescribe me estrogen and a testosterone blocker to start transitioning my body to be female. That, and I'm attracted to chicks ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'm transgender and a lesbian (will be transitioning soon). I saw the hypocrisy of stuff like feminism and the whole idea of patriarchy and called bullshit. I realised that everyone has problems, some more, some less, some different, some the same, but nobody is problem free. I guess I was attracted to egalitarianism rather than feminism because of feminism's one sided approach.

I understand, but there's a big difference between, "Trusted oncologist and pediatric oncologist, with nurses and assistants around" and "some guy in a fast food bathroom with a little girl". Either way I guess I did overdramatize the title a bit.

don't got hormones yet. Waiting to move out of my parent's house first.

well yeah, obviously. It was just me (18) and little girl (6-8) was not a good place, especially in a bathroom.

Sort of like mini-rooms inside of the restroom? I could go for that. More privacy. Besides that, I don't really care who's next to me in the bathroom, it's not like we're going to have an in depth talk, we're just using the bathroom.

It's more the want to have children, as periods are necessary with that.

Oh, no I'm genetically a man (XY) and want to adapt my bodies hormones to become as female as I can. I just don't like being male, I enjoy being female. I cannot change my genetics from XY to XX and unfortunately can never do anything biologically capable of non-trans women: have periods, have children.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
