I literally had gym anxiety when I started too. My fitness journey became exponentially better after I joined the gym though. Thank you for your service. People love the men and women who serve in our nation's military even if they're anti-war. You can be anti-war but still love and appreciate members of te military. Anyone who doesn't at least feel gratitude when they know what you've done doesn't deserve a second of your time (they actually probably don't deserve much of anyone's time to be honest)

Why do all the comments act like they're allergic to reading? Maybe I'm just that bored at work? The silver lining I can see in this is that hopefully, the light slap on the wrist would convince other women who have done this to innocent men to step forward, take responsibility for their action and, most importantly, free innocent men who are still serving their sentences. I sympathize with the sweaty part. You ever take a subway in NYC during the summer? It's impossible to not show up somewhere sweaty. It's already humid above ground, then you have to go underground where there's no AC and one fan for the thousands of people waiting to cram into a tin can together. Every New Yorker has their "I had to be somewhere in the summer and was sweating way too much" story.

My rule of thumb is to talk about one thing after the opener, make sure there's one more joke in there and ask for her number....usually along the lines of "oh yeah, we should def go there. Give me your number so we can set something up" or "This app is killing my battery, I'll text you instead. What's your number" The next thing I like talking about after the opener is usually where she lives. Dating apps give you mileage away but never an exact point.

I got responses but the conversation for both went cold rather quickly, even though their texts were engaged and had text IOIs ("haha" "lol" and compliments). I don't want to come off as too eager and reinitiate the text but calling would also seem WAY to forward if not texting back was a "hint"
